New England lawn care took over our yard from a previous provider who had in just 3 years wrecked large sections of our lawn. It took Nelc a year or two but now our lawn is back to being lush and green. Great job! Thank you

BAD BAD BAD STAY AWAY FROM THEM !!! i would not recommend them to anyone , bad customer service , very unprofessional and bad quality overpriced !!! my law was getting bad after every treatment and when i mentioned it , they kept saying that we cut the grass to short , after few times we started to cut the grass actually at the max height and the excuse was that rain is killing the grass lol had the mosquito and bug treatment which was a complete failure and the excuse they gave us was that there are trees around it .

Exploring your past reviews, it also appears you have a history of leaving one star reviews, and sabotaging businesses with erroneous claims. You had zero complaints with our service until we were forced to place your account on hold for issues you are very aware of. I understand people struggle financially at times but slanderous libelous reviews against hard working small business is a shameful path to take, and you sir should be ashamed of your self. The fact that google allows you to continually leave destructive reviews, time and time again, is absurd. We are committed to excellence, from customer service to results as evidenced by our 150 plus 5 star reviews. I feal sorry for the next business that has the unfortunate pleasure of encountering you.

New England Lawn Care has been doing our yard for several years. Our lawn always looks immaculate, people always stop and complement us on how nice it looks. We have had many other lawn care services and they definitely are the best we’ve ever had. The staff is extremely knowledgeable. When they see an issue in the lawn, they bring it to my attention and educate me on what they see. We also have 2 dogs and they always notify us prior to coming. I highly recommend New England Lawn Care if you are looking for great service and a beautiful lawn.
Edited 9/17/25 - I would like to add that since this review, we've been in contact with the company, and they are kindly working to repair and rehab our yard at no cost to us, which I greatly appreciate.** We are deeply disappointed with the service provided by New England Lawn Care. As new homeowners in the area, we were upfront about our limited knowledge of NE lawn maintenance and our desire for clear guidance on caring for our yard. We explicitly communicated our expectations and sought professional assistance to ensure a healthy lawn. New England Lawn Care informed us that our yard had a grub infestation, requiring aeration, reseeding, and a year-long treatment plan to restore its health. We trusted their expertise and invested nearly $3,000 in their services over the course of a year. Unfortunately, our yard is now in worse condition than when we started, with the grub problem persisting despite the costly treatments. After multiple attempts and numerous emails back and forth to address these ongoing issues, we received an unsatisfactory response from the owner, who stated, "It is also very possible you are experiencing a host of other pest-related problems now, including both chinch bug and bill bug infestations. We are finding them throughout all areas of Western Massachusetts. As I stated earlier, lawn care is nothing more than continuously managing one problem after another. Two years of continuous service is typically required to achieve desirable results. There is no final resolution, there is no end, and there is certainly no benefit in observing a lawn under summer stress at the end of August." The owner did not visit our property to assess the situation and instead offered a discounted $2,700 plan for another year of service, implying that our expectations for a healthy lawn after one year were unrealistic and that these pictures and results were to be expected with the services we've paid for. We find this response dismissive and unacceptable, given the significant investment we made based on their recommendations. The condition of our yard speaks volumes about the quality of service and expertise provided. We caution others considering New England Lawn Care to carefully evaluate their services. Our experience has been frustrating, costly, and ultimately ineffective, leaving us with a lawn in poorer condition than before.

BAD I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT !!! We tried working with them and telling them after their treatment my lawn was brown and burnt , a lot of bad spots came up , but unfortunately they kept denying and saying that we cut too short and thats the only problem smh. They applied mosquito treatment and it didnt really do much and then they said your grass is high thats why it didnt work smh
Right after last treatment brown spots everywhere
Two years good. The last two years not so. Two years prior I had disease spots I took care of successfully. Last year's spring and summer rain diseased over 50% of my lawn. I did not know what was happening to the lawn since Jake from New England Lawn Care was always making its usual monthly applications; I thought with each application the lawn would rebound. By summer I called Jake on this and he told me I said, I'd take cart of it. Wrong. ! ! That was two years ago it was spots. ! This was a full blown disease problem I had no idea of and why he didn't do anything about it. ? Why did he not say anything ? Why didn't he work with me from late spring onward to counter act this problem. He laughed and told me it was my problem from that point going backward, not his and that now I could start an application program to eliminate the disease. It's now August. Jake applied his next application and accidentally laid down weed killer on 20% of my lawn that did not need it. That burned my lawn so much that New England Lawn care had to return and do extensive re- seeding with machinery maintenance. Jake actually laughed and patronized my positioning on this. Too, too bad. I did speak with the wife of the owner and she was apologetic. Communication and company contrition should've been way better than what had happened. Last year was a complete loss of time and money spent.
They did well in the beginning first few visits, but it only takes one time to either put the wrong stuff down or too much of it. My backyard was severely burned and has thankfully came back some what in the last month to about halfway green, the technician Andy came back when I called and he tried to tell me it was diseases and such. I have never had brown for the seven years I’ve lived here, both my neighbors on either side of me have perfect green grass. It’s partially shaded in the backyard and so it gets filtered sunlight never dries out. Told them to stop coming here and pay us for the rest of the year since we were pre-paid. After receiving, half the applications and me denying the other half thought we would get 50% back instead got like 25% Wife called them back without talking to me (I would not have) they said they would send the owner. Jay came when we were not home. Left a note blaming it again on “disease scars”. My house is surrounded with cameras. I have pictures of the green grass before they came that last visit and brown grass the very next day that progressively got worse. My grass was green like you can see my neighbors in the picture. The equipment they used to deploy the spray left streaks as well. I think they’re capable of delivering a good service like they did initially, but made a mistake, and did not own up to it.
This was the worst company I have ever used ..canceled them half way through service and now they are saying I owe them for stuff they didn't put down . They are not the company they say they are ..I am paying them for it but I get snotty emails from them if payment isn't ready for them to take ...just stay away from them
Hired them to put down tick repellent one year and without asking or informing us, they came back the next spring to do it again and wanted payment. We never asked for it or wanted it. Still to this day they demand payment. Very unprofessional to run a company this way
BEWARE! They now in 2021 automatically setup services every year unless you call the office and stop it. In 2019 I called to setup weed, tick, fertilizer treatment, and I asked them to do seeding in the fall. I also stated that I hired them solely to do the seeding in the fall; the rest was to stay with the same company. Never said services were automatically done yearly and even made sure it wasn't. They also added a winterizing treatment I did not ask for and charged me for it. They did not seed my yard in the fall and I still had to pay for it. They itemize all their services so that is nice, so I can choose what to pay for. I refused to pay those. In 2020 they did not call or return. I had to call them inform them I wanted the seeding that they never did. Had to pay for it again. I did get a phone call in January 2021, so that was nice and they asked if I wanted to continue services and I said, "No thank you, we moved. to a new location" Unbeknownst to me. Because we moved and I told the man on the phone we moved and to stop services. They continued services and when I called she said I had to call the office and be removed because they renew services every year automatically. 1) I did not sign up for yearly automatic services. 2) the year before I had to call for services 3) they were told over the phone that we no longer lived there, but was never told to call the office to stop services. He said thank you and wished us good luck in the move. I am now being threatened to pay services or it will hit my credit. I never got the service, Refused to pay for services I never asked for, and will not pay for services I canceled and they still did.
Company BEWARE!! I hired Nathan to put some fertilizer down on my 100x100sf Lawn. I was home the whole time him and his helper was here. I went in the house for less than 5 minutes. When I came out of the house the owner was sitting in his truck and his helper was sweeping my lawn near the driveway with a broom. Eventually Nathan ( owner ) handed me a bill for 100.00. My experience with him was dishonesty.
Was doing my lawn my self looked great. Used New England lawn care for a year and yes it looked good but my side lawn was destroyed by the huge machines they use not only was the side destroyed nothing was done to fix the problem. Then the weeds took over and now I’m left with a worse problem then I ever had. Canceled my service and still owed them $250 told them I couldn’t pay for a then till the end may due to financial issues I was having due to a car accident. And now I’m being brought to small claims court. That’s my experience.
