Island Insect Control is my go-to for anything moth, pest, mice, and insect related on Nantucket. I believe there are two owners, but I only have worked directly with Chance and he is hands-down one of the most reliable vendors I have ever used for my house. Chance initially took time to review all the annoying bug and moth issues I was dealing with, gave me free advice before I even signed up for their service, and listed options for me to do on my own before I had to spend any money. Eventually I had to call him back up, and bought a custom-designed plan for my pest maintenance—I haven’t had an issue since! Chance calls every single month to ensure I’m happy with the monthly treatments and he even added in a spider spray at no extra cost. He is honest, kind and trustworthy. They are literally the only guys who I give access to for my house, even if I am not there. I don’t even give family members my door code, but Chance’s guys are dependable. I would say I pay for the customer service than the actual service. Anyone can get an exterminator, but to hire one who takes the time to assuage your concerns, customize a plan that actually works, and who employs trustworthy techs—worth every penny. By the way, they do not overcharge and I have the invoices to prove it. These are good guys who must take pride in their company because they’ve always, always been amenable to adjusting whatever I’ve needed based on the myriad of critters who inhabit the island. IIC is the only company to hire for every insect and pest need.

These nice young men took care of an ant problem I had in my kitchen for years. I had many exterminators come over the years with no luck. Then once iic came they took care of the ants in under one hour and the ants never came back!!! Truly amazing how they were able to fix what others couldn’t! Also very professional and respectful of the home.

Island Insect Control did an amazing job getting rid of the ticks and mosquitoes. Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough in their treatment. They come every other week, which keeps the pests under control and makes a huge difference. In the summer, I’ve noticed way fewer mosquitoes, and I don’t have to worry about ticks in my yard. Flint and Chancellor also took the time to explain the process and offer tips for long-term prevention.
