I finalized a contract with this company to do my lawn back in January 2026. This week 5/5/26 I was notified that they quoted me too low of a price, would honor the first treatment but then had to do a massive price increase. They had used the wrong address to quote my home. Not great to say the least.

Scott,<br>Again, I do apologize for the error, and I would have been willing to work with you on the pricing. However, the proposal we sent did include a photo of the property we believed we were quoting. It would have been helpful if the incorrect property had been brought to our attention at that time.<br>As mentioned, there was an issue with how Google geocoded your address, which caused the discrepancy. Unfortunately, your actual property is approximately three times the size of the property we originally measured and quoted.<br>We always strive to be fair and transparent, and this was an honest mistake based on the information available to us.

Lawn Doctor is excellent! I've been a happy customer for several years now. The technicians always do great work, are always polite and on time, respectful of my property and they communicate clearly and effectively. It is a pleasure being a customer of such a well run company with such good workers. I want to call out the two power seeding specialists, Jeremiah and Mateus, who came out to my house today who were outstanding. All of the phone reps and the general manager, Derrick, are equally super. Thank you.

Lawn Doctor has done a good job for us. The lawn has improved over the past couple of years. No clover, lawn does not dry out as much during hot season. They do a good job of communicating with customers on upcoming visits.

Update June 25, 2025 -Lawn is in much better shape so far this year. Not having good results. Lots of crabgrass and brown spots. This is the response I recieved after a request for additional service. "Typically, we would do a service before but by the time you are scheduled, you would come due to be fertilized so it would not make sense to send Tech back and fourth a week later." Update: By the end of the season last year I was able to get the Lawn back into good shape by raking out all of the dead crabgrass and seeding the large areas of the lawn that was effected. The seed filled in the areas by mid November. I will give Lawn Doctor the benefit of the doubt and try them again for 2025.

Lawn Doctor's fertilization was fine but I paid a lot of money to have my lawn aerated and power seeded and it was a disaster: I have no lawn where they did their work and they could not/did not fix the problem.

Matthew, After reviewing your account, it looks like we power seeded your lawn in October of 2023. We returned for a free service call in April of 2024 to reinforce the original seeding. You then cancelled your account in September of 2024 and we have not been back to your property since then. You also have an unpaid balance for a treatment we did in August of 2024. I was a customer of the big green company but the up-sale phone calls were endless. The final straw was in the fall when they “winterized” after the first snow of the year, on top of the leaves and snow. I made it clear to Lawn Doctor what I wanted from the beginning and they have been great. They show up as advertised, take great care of my lawn and bill me appropriately. Good people that you can count on.

I am very disappointed in their online billing system. I prepaid for the year and their system did not take into account the full year of services for which I had prepaid. Also, I still have many spots where the seeding they spread last fall, did not grow and my husband had to manually reseed himself.

We had an addition added to our home, after which the yard was a very uneven, barren land of dirt After adding soil and seed our yard became a large lot of weeds. We had held the Lawn Dr off while all this was being done. I wish I had taken before and after pictures. In just one summer our yard looks like a golf course. Very happy customer!

Hired this company twice. After giving them a second chance the lawn technician pretended to go over my yard with an empty spreader. I reported it and he came back to my door to argue with me. He said he didn’t bring enough product and was in pain from the project earlier today. Sorry man, don’t care, you charged me over $100 for this visit.

It does not make sense that we would push a spreader across your lawn without any material in it and our technicians typically use a ride-on spreader for granular material. This is my second review for lawn Dr.....I just want to express my thoughts....as stated before I'm very satisfied with lawn dr....the fact that they spread there treatments out for every 6 weeks is wonderful...the other lawn service did not do this and then I would fall behind on my account and couldn't catch up and ending up in collections......I am able to stay current with Lawn dr ..... 😀....I have reached out to lawn dr several times about making the switch, this time I followed thru and happy I did....
