A very comfortable experience and we were impressed that the owner of this small company showed up. I am sure it was a far better experience than the huge franchises out there. After realizing we had a rodent problem, I called Mike and Tara at Downes Pest & Wildlife. They listened carefully, and then showed up at my house in Milton in less than 24 hours at a time that was convenient for my family. They were right on time, and texted in advance. We're in the COVID pandemic right now, and so my wife and I were happy that they wore masks. Even though the work Mike and Tara do is physical and involves being outdoors, they were both dressed professionally and were careful to not track dirt in our house. Mike and Tara had me show them around, and then they started their own inspection. I was surprised by some of the evidence they found - I couldn't believe I hadn't seen some of it on my own, but their trained eyes allowed them to identify exactly what was going on, and they quickly developed a plan. Though Mike & Tara found more evidence than I expected, I'm very relieved I called. I thought we might be breaking into walls and re-plastering and painting, so I was happy to hear that we probably won't need to do that. I'm confident Mike & Tara's plan is going to be effective. They explained what to expect very clearly, and told me to call if things don't go as planned. Finally, the price was very reasonable. I had no idea how much this would cost. The price they quoted over the phone seemed more than fair - after all, this work involved having a pair of professionals come to my house at an unusual hour. I was pleased that there was no upselling or other nonsense after they were done. The price they quoted was the price they charged. In every way, we're very happy. The technician arrived exactly on time. He explained his process inside and outside the house. Upon completion he told my wife and I about the service and left brochures with information on other services. He said the ants would be gone in 30 days. They were gone in 24 hours. Great company.

We have a contract with them and we have been pleased with the service in the past. There was a 3 day period that we could not get ahold of them or leave a message due to the full voice mail. Come to find out, there had been some unfortunate personal issues that happened during this time. When Mike got back to us, he was very attentive to help remedy the situation and make sure we had what we needed. Mike is very attentive and helpful and I would recommend this company.
