I have had Austin Cooper for several years now. I count on him for making sure my mice are contained and my house is sprayed for insect bees since I am allergic to them He knows exactly how I like things done and when! He always informs me of the status of his findings He does it with a smile, humor, and professionalism ! If Austin ever left I would have to go with him and that’s the truth!!!

I should give a disclaimer that I didn’t ask for these guys to come, my landlord did. They’ve been coming here about every three months for the last 2 years to do a bedbug inspection even though I’ve never had bed bugs. Basically a dog comes in to sniff for bedbugs, but the dog is more interested in sniffing the spot where I keep the cat food, it sniffs the bed for about 2 seconds, sometimes jumps on the bed, btw thanks for that, this dog that’s been jumping in other people’s beds all day just jumped in mine. If I ever get bedbugs I’m blaming it on the dog for bringing them. The worst part is the person who is supposed to be there to check for bed bugs then comments about my apartment to my landlord. Like that’s not what you are here for. Yes I have a lot of Knick knacks and collectibles, and it may seem cluttered to some, but that’s not your job to disclosed what my apartment looks like. You are required to give notice of a bedbug inspection but nowhere in the notice does it inform us that it’s actually an inspection of my belongings and by no means should that information be shared. I also overheard them through the door telling my landlord there was cat puke all over the place when there was absolutely none. I literally just vacuumed and mopped before they got there.

Called to get details of pesticide application in neighborhood to protect my honey bee hives and was told they'd call back with details and email. They did neither and seemingly never showed or didn't stake the application.

I would never typically leave a review but this is the most unprofessional service I have ever attempted to use. TL:DR- they showed up for a service I never booked and then billed me $365, owner was combative and hung up on me I scheduled an intial consult with them which was great. Their scheduling is done from somewhere else so they just choose your date. The one they chose did not work for me and I told the scheduling service I could only do a certain day of the week due to a work schedule and needing my dog out of the house for 4 hours while the service is happening. That person did not see any openings so I told them it was fine, I would find a different service. Then the local technician called me and asked why I canceled, which I explained. He then called me back on a sunday morning saying he could do the service the next day. I said I really was not sure that would work for me and would have to get back to him. We did not confirm the appointment. He showed up at my home the next day at 8am and I explained I was confused because we never agreed on this. I also said I was not able to do it. He then sat in his car outside my home for 20mins and a few days later I received his “report” on the service and $365 bill. I called him and he was extremely combative and rude and refused to acknowledge that he showed up unannounced. I then called the corporate number who said they would have someone call me back. Scott, the local owner called me and was very rude and defensive and again, tried to make it my fault and continued to lie that his technician performed a service, which he did not, and then he hung up on me.

Do NOT chose this company! I just paid $365 to start a service with the first tech suppose to arrive today …. no one showed up during the ridiculously long appointment window of noon to 5 pm. I called the company and got 3 different people, two of whom barely spoke English, and they promised to have someone call … no one did. I asked for the name of the person that was scheduled to come by today and was given a name of someone, who I subsequently learned, is not even an employee here in Maine (the company’s call center is in Pennsylvania .. who knows if headquarters is even in the United States).
Used them strictly for mouse extermination. Came back from vacation to find that they came while we were away and without our permission sprayed all around the house for insects. Somehow they neglected to notice our BEEHIVES 20 feet away!!! We also have free range chickens that like to eat the insects. The rep on the phone confirmed that it’s in the notes on our account NOT to spray chemicals due to the bees. Called twice about the issue at an 800 number where they were unapologetic and both times assured us that someone would call us back and so far no response. There is no local number to call or any way to speak to the technician who did this. Will not be using them again. Going to get a local company with a local number.
Incompetent, inconsiderate, demanding, and controlling. I have been a tenant at Gilman St. for more than six years to this day, But I never asked for this company. Just ask my property manager. She's the one who sets up these appointments, and not everybody in my apartment building is good at mornings, and unfortunately never will. Either this company or my property manager or even both have been making assumptions that everybody responds well to mornings, Just over a week ago, I was scheduled to have a chemical cleanup to get rid of the silverfish infestation that has been plaguing my apartment complex for quite some time, and still is. Nobody ever showed up. They blatantly no-showed and made me and some of the other tenants look bad. It's embarrassing. My property manager told me I am still on the list for the chemical cleaning of bugs. I did not ask for these appointments, and neither did any of my neighbors within my apartment complex. Only the property manager sets up the quarter-annual bedbug inspections in association with the Shalom House housing community. Also I did not appreciate having the quarter-annual inspections scheduled in random days and too early in the mornings. I also didn't appreciate having the quarter-annual inspections scheduled on holidays---especially on the week of my birthday (July 17) and on Halloween or the day after Halloween as I still need to recover from possible holiday letdowns. Like my property manager, I give this company a vote of no confidence, and I don't trust this company is because the schedule my property manager dictates is too much for me and some of the other tenants. I'm sorry to say I've had nothing but terrible experiences with this company over the past five years. The list of problems is extensive, ranging from property damage (several pieces of antique wood furniture ruined by sloppy and excessive application of liquid pesticides; electronics and other items destroyed by heat treatments despite the company's assurances that nothing would be damaged — and in both cases I was not compensated for my losses) to theft (items stolen from my home) to violations of state law (refusing to tell me the name or type of pesticide they were using) to things that are just annoying and unprofessional (the technician using the bathroom without permission and leaving **** in the toilet without bothering to flush it). I'm a renter, so I'm stuck with Ehrlich because that's who my landlord has chosen, but at some point I'll be a homeowner and I will definitely not be giving this company my business. Update: the owner response that says "we will be reaching out to you" is a lie. They never reached out to me.

Organized the folks who live upstairs to remove their cat from their apartment for a morning call for flea removal in the whole building. I called twice prior to service and made requests for an early morning start due to the cat having to be in a car during the day while the they fumigated (said it would be at least 5 hours post service until anyone could reenter the house.) morning came and went and I received no information and a no show. Such a bummer as I completely inconvenienced the people upstairs and now have to go with another company. The people on the phone were VERY nice, but whomever they have doing their actual on site work needs to get it together. VERY DISSATISFIED! UPDATE: so the tech showed up 45 mins late with no call or text prior. Luckily, I had someone there to talk to him and let him in. When he got inside he said, the treatment won’t be effective if anything is on the floor… no one EVER communicated any of this to me prior to this. In fact when I called two days ago, I asked for an information sheet and they said they didn’t have one, only confirmation emails. This company needs some help.

The first appointment that I set up with this company which I waited 3 weeks for was canceled on the day of the appointment. I live 2 hours away so I had made the trip for nothing. I was not present for the second appointment but my mother, who is older, was told there were too many places that rodents could enter so that the service could not really control the issue. They also said that they could not place any bait stations. I then called the company to find out about the visit and was told that bait stations could be set. I set up another appointment in the afternoon, only to arrive to find out that the person had come in the morning and that they could only treat the outside because nobody was home. I then set another appointment which took another 3 weeks to get and it was set for the afternoon between 12-5. I called the day prior and was told the appointment had been moved to the morning, I asked to switch it back because I could not be in Maine by 7 am. The person I called switched the appointment and sent a confirmation to the person who was going to do the service. I asked if they would get it and they assured me that it was all set. Today I waited at the house all day. I called at 4:30 to check to see if they were coming and was told the appointment was set for tomorrow morning. I cancelled my services on the spot. I have never had such a bad experience with services and scheduling as I have had with this company. I would not recommend them to anyone.

they wont stand behind their work. they sprayed for bed bugs and now the bugs are back, and they wont do anything about it. I was told multiple different lies that the work was guaranteed for 90 days to even more. than they tell me its only 30 days. they also never called me to schedule times for the canine to come inspect the unit. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service throughout the entire process. at no point did it seem like they were working for me, it seemed more like i was working for them and having to pay them for piss poor service, quality, and care.
