They are great I had it installed last summer in 2025. They come out promptly to repair some items behind my house that another contractor tore up doing some work on the lot behind me. I would strongly suggest them.

They came out and did a winterization on a new home we just purchase. Kyle walked me around the property and explained how my system was setup, provided advice, suggestions, and ideas for future improvements for spring. I will definitely use them for all of my future irrigation needs.

They did a great job designing and installing my new sprinkler system, all at a very reasonable cost. I really like it! If I did it again, I'd also have them level the lawn and seed it upon completion.

Technician showed up on time, he was very knowledgeable about my system. My only complaint about sprinklers plus is the cost. $80 to replace a sprinkler head; too much.

I used to feel this was a 5 star business but this changed this year. Multiple communications not followed through, staff is now untrained and argued about even replacing a head, head cost 3x what you can pay for same head on Amazon, left with a fault in system, left with a valve leaking and would not do work requested months in advance. Owner stated the staff sent was not capable, agreed. Quote given would have freaked out a business, let alone a home. Controller quoted 3x price on Amazon and complete redo of existing system. Asked to have a meeting, sent a different quote. Moved to a different contractor after years of service, unfortunately. Hi Derick, I discussed with you on our property, how I contacted your group twice before your employee arrived. On one communication i scheduled startup and stated I had changes to zones to make and an additional zone to add, same as last years addition. In my second email, where I was told I would need to pay startup before service rendered, I stated you were causing us both additional invoice/payment work, for the additional work that was requested. You literally offered no apology or explanation. When I received your estimate that was about 16 times what I paid the previous years from changes and additions made, I asked you to return to meet with me on the property because we seemed to not understand each other for me to get a quote like that. Instead of providing me a meeting, you sent another quote and yes it did show the ridiculous costs I outlined you stated are not on your quotes. I have since paid another company to fix a leaky valve your employee left, heads adjusted that he had hitting the house, and install a hunter wifi unit I got for Amazon. I would appreciate not being discredited further for my knowledge of who I have worked with for years. Thank you

My name is Derrick Hinds I am the owner of Sprinklers Plus. I can not find a Sergio anywhere in our computer data base and I have not had a recent conversation with you. Much of your review sounds like you have the wrong company. All of our service technicians are extremely well trained and have many years of experience. We also pride ourselves on a high level of communication with the office staff to all of our customers. In the rare occasion that the service technicians can not complete your repairs in the first trip we quickly schedule another visit to complete your necessary service. Your mentions of quotes also do not seem to match how we conduct business. Every quote we give is for a flat rate. That includes all parts and labor to install and repair your irrigation system. Sprinklers Plus has been very good to work with thus far. They installed my sprinkler system in 2022, and have been responsive to any issues that I've had.
They charged me to for two visits even though the work to be done is generally done in one visit by any other reasonable company. In addition, their "technicians" left faulty sprinkler heads and directed the water directly into the street, while charging me $70 for a part that costs $8 at Home Depot, and took them less than 10 minutes to install. I wouldn't recommend and won't use them again. Poor service and insultingly high prices. Response from me - 10/4/22: To the owner - please re-read the invoice that you folks were more than happy to invoice for. I actually was charged for the faulty sprinkler heads that were not fixed. I was charged $70 each for them. Further, you still didn't address the fact that your technicians charged me to adjust and open the system, yet somehow the system still sprayed water into the street from a fixed sprinkler head. Your number for me must be incorrect as I have checked phone records and there have been no calls from your company.

After trying to call you and leaving you multiple voicemails we will respond this way. You were charged the exact same pricing for the startup and the backflow test as every other customer. Yes, your backflow test was completed on a second visit, but there was not any additional trip charge associated with it and that service did not require you to be at home. There were also notes on your work order explaining that you had broken heads, but you chose to not have them replaced. If there are any other questions please feel free to call 812-858-1325.
I called this company because they have a good reputation. My experience doesn’t jibe with this, I experienced an extremely inefficient crew. In the end, I was charged $904.72 to repair a single broken wire. Also, the tech quoted me $150 per sprinkler head to replace a broken zone of 2-3 sprinklers. When I agreed to have the work done, I was then told it would be a minimum of $1,000. Must be new math, because in my mind the new zone should have run $300-450. After the crew couldn’t repair the broken zone, they left a giant hole in my backyard. So, in a nutshell, I still have a broken zone, I have a new crater in my yard, and I paid way above market to have a wire installed. My advice, if you’re thinking of using Sprinklers Plus, is to find a better contractor.

I am sorry you are having a bad experience with your newly purchased home. As you stated the previous homeowner did not leave the system in working condition. The system had a lot of issues and not all zones were functional upon arrival. It takes time and money to figure out issues, which as you stated the irrigation specialist was keeping you current with the costs involved. As we also discussed you will need more than 2-3 heads to cover that area correctly. We did also discuss that yes we do have a minimum charge to bring machinery to your property and use it. I’m sorry that the existing system was not functional and requires more work than you had hoped.
