Very pleased The Inspector was great they found things that I new was wrong that other inspectors didn’t find

I recently used Home Inspector consultants and I couldn’t be happier. The inspector was professional very detailed and took the time to explain everything clearly. He pointed out several important issues we would have missed. I Highly recommend them for anyone buying or selling a home great service and fair pricing.

They really went above and beyond expectations. I’ve been through the home buying process before, and this was one of the more thorough inspections I’ve had. The report covered a lot of detail and clearly highlighted the more important issues versus general maintenance items. They took the time to answer questions and made sure I understood what I was looking at. Overall a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend them.

Would not recommend this company. Services: The tests they performed were fine and done well. We did although expect onsite or quick turn around on the reports as advertised on their site, that didn't happen. We had to chase them down (calls/emails) to get those reports after a few days. One of the services was not able to be performed and we were not given updates and had to keep checking back to get news. Customer Service: Did not appreciate the customer service we received, lack of communication and poor attitude when working with reporting and hearing our side of a bad experience. My wife spoke to them and was brushed off and hung up on multiple times when expessing that we were disappointed with this bad experience. When I spoke to their team I was also talked down to and accused of being dishonest and lying about a review written, which was only telling our side of the story. We requested a discount for the experience we had and were denied. It was then offered to refund us the whole amount and void the inspection, to which they turned around to deny, as well. So they won in the end and will continue to treat customers however they want (poorly). Just remember: Their website advertises quick turn around on the reporting and 100% satisfaction guaranteed, which are both lies.

I first encountered Mike and Home Inspector Consultants in 2016 while purchasing my first home. Mike was thorough and professional. I was so pleased with the work that I recently hired him for the inspection of my next property. He arrived on time, and the inspection was done efficiently but thoroughly. Mike pointed out areas for concern and explained everything to me as he went. Before we left the property he showed me pictures, and thermal scans (I added on this service) showing me the items that I should note that would be in my report. Mike and his partner’s work saved me from buying a property with significant issues not clearly visible. Thanks for the excellent and friendly service! I will definitely use your company for future purchases and refer you to others.

Worse experience ever!! Owner called me a liar and manipulative after his employees failed to do their job right. I was quoted a price and the person I spoke to failed to listen effectively when I told him there were multiple layers to test. Then tried to charge me $100 more. Tech came to my house with no tool to cut out the samples. He handed me a knife he brought to do it and it was not sharp enough. I had to get a razor to cut it out. He then took over and cut out the last two samples. I was then told for this I would be charged $325!!! I was upset and asked to speak the owner. I would have never wasted my time if I knew this was the cost and went with the first company I called instead that was $25 more then what this company quoted me. The owner was so unprofessional! He told me first he didn’t know if he believed me or not and if I was telling the truth he would fire the tech. Who says something like that to a customer? At this point I was done and I asked him to just please give me my samples back I would go with another company and he said he didn’t know when he could return them. He is the owner!!! How could he not know??? He hung up on me 3 times as I was trying to get my samples back. He then told me the tech would drop them off, but did not want to talk to me. This owner really needs a lesson in customer service! Calls the customer names, tells the customer he will fire the tech if he believes me or over the tech, then tells me the tech is going to come to my house, but won’t speak to me. To top it off he says I’m really not even a customer because I have not paid for anything yet!!! I would avoid this place at all costs!!! If you notice they have not had a positive review in months! That says a lot! I will pay attention to that next time I’m looking at review ratings.

I had a fantastic experience with this company. They were incredibly knowledgeable and thorough throughout the entire home inspection. A huge standout for me was the sewer camera service—they actually uploaded the footage to YouTube so I could review the condition of the pipes myself, which provided a lot of peace of mind. ​The inspector took the time to go through everything in detail and was a great guy to work with. If you’re looking for someone professional who uses great tech to make the process transparent, I highly recommend them!"

Mike did our home inspection. He was punctual, patient, and honest. Took the time out to come back a second time to ensure the repairs were done and everything was in working order.

Should not have listened to my useless realtor either. The missed so many issues with the home. What is the point in a home inspection anyways? Waste of money and waste of time. Missed electrical, HVAC, Flooring, and the list goes on and on. Don’t use. You’re going to get screwed anyway might as well save the $500-$1000 for fixing issues they gave a good to go on.

Worked with Mike on the inspections for our new home. He was very thorough and explained everything to us. Took so many pictures and answered all of our questions. Even with the stress of work not being completed after we were told it was he fit us in to get everything done so we could go through with closing. It was so nice working with them!

This is a great company to use for a home inspection. I had Mike as my inspector and he was very detailed and went above and beyond, he also made sure I understood things that were pointed out to me.
