Our renewal agreement with Xtermco just came up, and we'll be renewing. We built our house in 1984 in Salt Lake, and the termite problem was so bad then that the pressure treated lumber (where the treatment had not penetrated) in the scrap pile on the job site were attacked by the termites during construction. We initially went with the ground treatment where they had to drill through your floors to inject the poison every so many years; it was disheartening since I had to repair the koa wood floor I had installed, finding plugs to match the1" holes they had drilled through. When they introduced the Sentricon system, we signed up, and after the termites took the bait the 1st year sometime in the 1990's, we haven't had an issue with termites since that time. So we're renewing our contract, since the only disturbance is the worker inspecting the stations on the exterior of the house; no drilling and patchwork inside. Warren & Raynette Dang

We’ve procured the Sentricon inspection since 2002. Over these years, our house was saved 2 or 3 times from ground termite invasion. Just once would’ve financially offset the annual fees which have remained almost constant since inception. In addition to the sentricon, we have had our home tented for the air termites several times. I appreciate the discounts from being a loyal customer. I highly recommend this company for their professionalism and expertise in termite control.

Been using Xtermco services years. Always professional. The call out of their presence during monthly checks are appreciated. Latest experience of getting house tented was excellent. Crew was personable and courteous. They tried their best efforts to work around items without damaging anything. The only item found was a bent/tweaked license plate on the car. Thank you.

We recently had our home fumigated by Xtermco, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Derek Yoneoka, the Termite Sales Director, was awesome to work with. He took the time to answer every one of our questions thoroughly and made the whole process feel much less stressful. His professionalism and patience really stood out. The office staff was also great. Rosanna kept us updated with clear dates and times for each step of the tenting process, which made everything easy to plan around. On fumigation day, Maiwa and his crew were fantastic. They even took the extra step of covering our gutters with carpet to help prevent any damage during tenting — something we truly appreciated. Overall, Xtermco delivered outstanding service across the board. We highly recommend them for anyone needing fumigation or termite treatment!

I have the sentricon ground termite system for over 6 years with Xtermco. Their service technician checks the bait traps every month & so far no ground termites have been detected. Receive a report on termite activity after every inspection. I am very satisfied with their service.

We have been using Xtermco for termite monitoring of our home on Windward Oahu since 2015. The service personnel are very reliable and professional. The come monthly, check all sensors and replace damaged ones as needed. The office staff are friendly and helpful. We recommend Xtermco for in ground termite monitoring with out reservation.

We've been with Xtermco for multiple years and have always had good service.

Did a good job installing termite bait traps in the ground all around the house. Appreciate that these traps are regularly monitored and a report is provided. The inspections are non-invasive, i.e. employee arrives, inspects the traps and leaves a report, whether I’m home or not. Overall happy with Xtermco service and have not had any termite issues since starting. The $400 annual charge is pricey considering the small amount of time actually spent monitoring.

Xtermco has recently been taken over by new management. Prices have increased. Many of the people that used to work there are no longer on the job. The service level has changed.

Beware -- Xtermco is a self-acknowledged repeat offender of fraud. On 4/12/25 I was surprised how quickly Xtermco ground termite service checking Sentricon stations was finished. When I retrieved the paper copy report that was left, it said Xtermco had fixed some stations but found no termites... So I went to take a look. Determined about 40-50% of the stations were not looked at. The front and north side of the house were not accessed or serviced at all, nor was the east side of the garage. I took videos that day showing the report and where the house was not accessed and broken stations not serviced. The videos also captured where stations had not been uncovered from leaves for visual inspection. Two months later during the next visit Xtermco I watched carefully the entire time. I observed as the same routes were taken as in April and the same areas missed. Again I reviewed the written report which was left -- it said the stations were checked and no termites found. I called the Xtermco office, then went out to discuss as the rep was packing up to leave. I video recorded the conversation. Recording shows that Xtermco indeed took a route that missed the 40-50% of stations. The Xtermco rep offered to come immediately service those areas but I declined. I called the Xtermco office again to report this. They refunded my year's payment and I discontinued service. All of this has happened before -- I had the same experience with Xtermco a few years ago. At that time they also confirmed what happened and refunded my year's payment promising to do better. Both times I mentioned that Xtermco's business model relies on trust -- entrusting people to come around your house when you're not there, and trusting them that when they say the machine shows all stations were visited then it is true. Both times, had I not checked, this could have continued indefinitely (or until termite damage was discovered). I can provide all associated videos and photos of the above.

I would have given 4 stars but since I have been using them (over 10 years) their service has gone a bit downhill. I actually was going to check into other companies. I had a set schedule for my Sentricon that got switched on me without notification. Depending on who is actually coming out to check the traps they are not doing a thorough job. Initially when one of my Sentricon lid was missing and I called I was told I have to contact Sentricon. But shortly after Carol came out and resolved the issue. I feel the last person who came out did a good job of checking. So I decided to stay this year with them. The staff are nice and they are lucky to have Carol on their staff. Cathy

Twice canceled tenting at my condo property due to “unforeseen circumstances” the preparation for this service is very extensive for home owners and I have lost a lot of time and money in this ordeal. Feeling exhausted and frustrated with this company. Zero stars

They stole a fan out of my house and now they're saying they didn't take it. I paid $85 for my fan and it was brand new.
