I noticed some big spiders in the basement where my kids play, and I wanted them gone fast. I spoke with Maureen in the office, and she was very kind while helping me set up an appointment. She made the scheduling part very easy, which I appreciate because my schedule is always a mess. Garrett was the technician who came to the house. He was very polite, and he made sure to wear shoe covers before he walked on my carpets. He sprayed the whole perimeter and even knocked down some old webs I could not reach. It feels much better now.

I had a massive nest of yellow jackets inside the wall of my house near the back deck. Maureen was wonderful on the phone and understood that I was allergic and needed help immediately. Yannuel came out within 3 hours to treat the entry point. He was very brave and stayed until he was sure the activity had stopped. I can finally sit on my patio again without being scared. It was such a smooth process.

Having experienced various pest control services in the past, I can confidently say that First Choice Pest Control stands out as the best in the business. I have no intention of seeking out any other pest control service.

I started getting quarterly treatments for any crawling creatures in my home. Their rates were better than other quotes I got.

My husband has been hiring this company without too much issue for a couple years now to treat inside and outside for monthly pest control but ever since I moved in in February we have had issues with them not calling back to schedule appointments, not showing up within the stated timeframe (8am-1pm, shows up at 3, etc) and generally really poor communication. We make sure to schedule monthly maintenance and have been having problems with carpenter ants. They have also not been spraying inside unless specifically asked, and the first time we had them come for carpenter ants & monthly we had to argue to get them to even do a monthly treatment outside. Every time we have had him come out he has acted strangely towards me, today he actually let a branch from a blackberry bush hit me in the face while I was following him to show him where the damage was. I think or at least hope he sprayed for the ants, but he disappeared after that without a word and definitely didn’t do an indoor or outdoor monthly treatment before he disappeared. Not looking forward to having to argue with billing about what services were or weren’t completed again. My husband is looking into another company because according to him, what used to be a reliable, friendly service has been causing more stress and problems than it’s worth and our problems are not being solved. If it weren’t for the prior good experience I would’ve given fewer stars.

I’ve been a loyal customer with FCPC for three years. The first year, they were great. Over time, they have started 1. Showing up hours late. 2. Miscommunication with their receptionist about days. So they will just not show at the arranged appointment. 3. Not providing services we paid for. We schedule for spraying for ants and our general monthly spray we get every month from them. For the last three months, they have been skipping our general spray and just leaving while we weren’t looking? Then sending in the bill for a general monthly spray even though they haven’t done it. I really wanted to support local but unfortunately we will be taking our money elsewhere.

I used Terminix for 3-6 months and they did not get rid of the roaches. These guys came out and right away I knew they were legitimate. No more roaches it was 3 trips that was it. Friendly fast and thorough.

I highly recommend this company. I had a bird nest on my front ledge. They removed the nest and no birds was hurt in the process. He removed the nest residue and gave me some advise about my furnace in the attic. He went above and beyond nest removal service. The price was great for service provided. The staff was very professional, despite my cry for help on Friday minutes before closing. 5/5 for me…

This company is soooooo good!! They came highly recommended. I purchased a new home & needed pest control badly. Ron came & went above & beyond to help us out. They’re prices are reasonable & the staff is professional. I’d def recommend them & Ron especially.

Moved into a home and brung some roaches from the apartment, called 1st choice within a week of moving in to get rid of the roaches before they get worse. Well charge $200 for 3 sprays , was not home on the 2nd visit and I dont believe they sprayed; my son said man looked around kitchen and left. called them about it and have not heard back from them. Got my money, did one spray and now seems like made the roaches breed faster. Not good service from this company.

Really don't understand where all of these five-star reviews are coming from, but I'm glad all of these folks had positive experiences. As for me, however, I called FCPC to come and inspect/estimate a cost for getting a family of possums out of our crawlspace & garage. I called around 9:30 AM and told them my situation. The clerk stated that he would call me back in about 15 minutes to schedule an appointment. Come 12:30 PM that same day, I still haven't received a callback, so I call again. My call went to voicemail, so I left a message explaining my situation. Come 3:45 PM that same day, I still have not received any sort of callback, so I call again and get the same clerk on the phone. He tells me to text a picture of the vent in the crawlspace where the possums were getting in at, which I did. It has now been almost a month since I texted the company that picture (they texted me from the number first, so I know it's the right number), and I STILL have no response of any kind from this company. Do you guys want my business, or not?? Even big, corporate exterminating companies that I ended up reaching out to had very friendly, thorough, and communicative employees that were constantly in contact with me. I know that smaller businesses have staff limitations and may not be able to reach out right away, but this is ridiculous- ONE MONTH after reaching out, and I still haven't received any sort of callback??? I ended up buying traps from Home Depot and removing the possums myself. Should I run into any sort of rodent, wildlife, or insect issues in the future, I'll be sure to cross First Choice Pest Control off of my list right off the bat.
