Turf magic has been phenomenal! We’ve been using them for almost a year now. They are great at what they do. Dependable, affordable and great communication.

This company was recommended to my husband from another preferred company that was booked out. My husband wanted a simple weed control treatment, but instead got an unprofessional agent who literally tore 1/2 of our lawn up in a matter of 24 hours. The company was told that we had two different grades of grass (fescue under our trees and Bermuda in sunny areas). I am floored every time I look at our lawn. We paid about 3k to place fescue under our trees to keep from cutting them and was very proud of the results. I am utterly displeased/pissed. What makes matters worse was I was told that we would have to wait until the fall to have the grass recovered. I can’t believe this kind of issue has occurred from lawn experts. They should be refunding us for the cost to replace our sod. This is unfortunate because we really take pride in the curve appeal of our home and trusted these people to continue with improving it. RUN THESE FOLKS ARE NOT EXPERTS!

I just spoke with John at Turf Magic. He is very rude and extremely unprofessional. I called to get an estimate for lawn treatments. The first time that I spoke with him, he informed me that they provide 8 treatments per year and the price per treatment is $35.34, which they charge on the day of service. When I spoke with him later the same day, he stated that it was now $51 per treatment or $34 per month, which would equal the same amount for the year. However, I informed him that was not what he stated during the previous phone conversation. Then, he hung up on me. Needless to say, I definitely will not hire this company for service.

I have been a loyal and satisfied customer for almsot 2 years with Turf Magic. The office staff, managers (Judy & Samantha) and technicians (Emeril) are extremely friendly and professional, but I have to be as honest now as I was with my initial review in 2023...the products being used now are NOT of the same quality as what was being used on my lawn when I first started with this company. Prior to beginning treatment with Turf Magic last year (2023) my yard was loaded with weeds. Turf Magic (Josh - technician who is no longer with the company) was able to turn things around in just a couple of months and I had THE, if not one of the BEST looking and GREENEST lawns in my entire subdivision! This year, not so much. My lawn was never really "green" and plush as it was all last year and the amount I pay monthly versus the quality & number of treatments/applications received, just simply does not add up. I also should not have to monitor a technician to make sure I'm receiving proper treatment and coverage. What's more disappointing is the way my lawn NEVER looked professionally treated this year versus last year. In all honesty, I feel like I've been bamboozled. I tried to be patient, but unfortunately, I don't think I'll be renewing my service contract with Turf Magic Lawn Care for next year.

Nice people and very friendly people. But in the same hand you can't expect someone to not only apply. But apply in person face to face and receive a compliment for doing so only for them to leave you hanging. Good workers that will show up,give 100 percent, and stick around are strong willed and dedicated .We demand respect back in return though. Definitely Room for improvement follow ups regardless of what are critical for success.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE GETTING OVER. BEEN SPRAYING MY YARD FOR OVER A YEAR STILL FULL OF WEEDS. MANAGER CAME OUT AND HE SAID HE SPRAYED TOO NOTHING DIFFERENT STILL FULL OF WEEDS THEY GETTING OVER AND MOST OF THE WEEDS JUST SO HAPPENS TO BE OUT OF THE VIEW OF MY CAMERA. WHICH IS ALONG MY FENCE AND BACK YARD MAN THEY HAVEN'T SPRAYED ANYTHING. IF THEY DID IT WAS WATER. AND HAD THE NERVE TO GO UP BECAUSE OF GAS SMH GETTING OVER ON HARD WORKING PEOPLE. NEGATIVE LEAVES HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT YALL NOT SPRAYING ANYTHING THATS WHY WEEDS ARE JUST OUT OF VIEW OF CAMERA YALL HAVR WASTED MY MONEY LONG ENOUGH. WILL GO ELSE WHERE WHERE MY MONEY IS APPRECIATED.

Been with Jason and his Dad for 18+ years, seen steady decline in my yard. Three years ago noticed start of Dove Weed in the yard by the road. Jason made one attempt, after my prompting him, to take care of it. Month ago while mowing , noticed this weed all over the yard. Phoned and emailed Jason, advised his check for payment was on my desk and I would give it to him when he came to look at my yard. To this date, haven’t heard from him or seen him. I mailed him the check and asked him to discontinue service while I tried to eradicate the Dove Weed myself. This is easily spread by plug aeration, I found out after research, which he did per my suggestion approximately 3 years ago. Nothing has been done except the occasional wetting of the grass with who knows what. There is no oversight, regulation or requirements for this industry. Everything is the homeowners fault, you don’t cut it right, to much/to little thatch, bag it, don’t bag, his pre-emergent got diluted, his post emergent got diluted! The guys that do the work are challenged when they leave the shop for the day. They’re given their route that they must complete before getting off. The sooner they get it done, the sooner they go home. One day an auto mechanic, next day a lawn expert. They treat rain, sleet or snow! They walk through the weeds in your yard Like it’s Augusta National and there should never be a weed, so why look. Look at your receipts and see if you’ve ever Been told of weeds in your lawn and been offered a service to eradicate them!!

Products they placed on my yard kill some of my grass.

Whatever chemicals they used on my yard has turned it brown and it’s hard as a rock. Their products are substandard as my grass is full of weeds. I have never experienced this with TruGreen, Scott’s or Unlimited Lawncare. Those companies have excellent chemicals to treat lawns. I will be calling one of those companies to fix the terrible damage that has been done to my lawn. Turf Magic should be ashamed!!
