Buyer BEWARE of these SCAMMERS: I told these guys at Ennis Exterminating that I wanted a one time service for my DIL and they charged my card 5 MORE TIMES WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION & would only refund one charge and said they couldn't issue any more refunds bc their system wouldn't allow them too, then they said it was bc the acct was cancelled, which was done to prevent further charges. TOTAL SCAMMERS!! They cannot provide any contract or documentation to confirm I authorized these charges because I did NOT authorize these monthly charges. In these tough times, nobody needs to have $345 stolen from them, especially as a single mom and caretaker of my son in a wheelchair. AVOID THIS COMPANY if you don't want your money STOLEN.

That’s never the experience we want for anyone.<br><br>That said, after listening again to every recorded call (from the initial setup in May through our conversation on November 21), we will stand firm: the facts and the recordings do not support your claim that this was intended to be a one-time service.<br><br>On three separate occasions (including calls where you and your daughter-in-law were both on speakerphone together), ongoing service was clearly discussed and agreed to. This included an initial treatment charge followed by a lower fixed monthly fee for continued protection, even in months when no service was scheduled. You personally provided the credit card and said, almost as if saying it to your daughter-in-law instead of us, “We’ll use this card for now and change to another card later for the monthly amount.” No updated card was ever provided, so the original card was charged for five months of service that was, in fact, performed.<br><br>Had this been raised after the first or second month, we would have gladly reviewed everything and worked to resolve any confusion immediately. Unfortunately, it went unnoticed (or at least unmentioned) for five months, during which time we continued to provide the agreed-upon protection.<br><br>When your daughter-in-law later called to cancel, we stopped service that same day and removed the card; no contracts, no penalties, no pushback, because we don’t operate that way. Because we’d rather have happy customers than contractually obligated customers, we don’t require long-term service agreements. <br><br>We understand memories can blur over time, but the recorded conversations are unambiguous. Because the services were requested, agreed to, and delivered, we will not be refunding the $345.<br><br>We take pride in running an honest, family-owned business and in the reputation we’ve built over the years. We truly regret that this has escalated to threats of widespread defamation and negative reviews along with Facebooks messages stating your review will be updated in exchange for payment. That approach leaves us no choice but to rely on the documented record rather than give in to pressure.<br><br>Ultimately, the agreement and the charges stem from decisions made jointly by you and your daughter-in-law on recorded lines. My review is two fold, I guess. I came to Ennis as a result of another exterminating company trying to use fear tactics to get me to submit to services that I now know I did not need. Move forward and I contacted Ennis. And the technician they sent out was John Hoerner. He showed up with calmness, next door neighbor explaining, and skill to check my entire attic.
