If their service is anything like their driving, DO NOT use them. The driver of this truck was driving like a maniac on Hwy 78, cutting people off, tailgating etc. The truck says Avalon, but if you look up the phone number on the truck it comes back to this company.

Reckless driving employees in their company trucks. Absolutely dangerous, with infants in my car riding the back bumper then cutting me off almost hitting my front end. Once I was cut off, ran up on the tail ends of other cars. Then jerked out in front of oncoming traffic on 78 making a left turn. Due to that, would never call this company. If you’re reckless and careless with innocent lives on the roads I’d hate to imagine the lack of care toward clientele.

On Sept 9, 2022 I paid $125.00 for annual termite inspection. On December 9, there was a completed invoice folded in my door. I do not believe the work was completed because I was home all day, no one knocked or rang the bell, there was steady rain all day and neither of my dogs barked an alert. My third call to the business was returned today by Ms Calhoun (the technician whose name is on the invoice) stating she would return late January to reinspect. I said I wanted another technician because I didn’t trust her. She stated she was the only one and couldn’t bring another technician in because they were overworked. I told her I would file a complaint. She said fine, do that and disconnected the call. Resolution: a different licensed technician to actually do the inspection or refund my $125.00 Update: still waiting for resolution 10/23. What a scammer company! UPDATE: still waiting on resolution 12/23 UPDATE: no resolution 9/5/24.

My wife and I are very pleased with the service from this pest control company. The technicians arrive on time and treat our home respectfully. They inspect thoroughly for pests, remove old bait, and quickly address any issues with breakthroughs or seasonal pests. We highly recommend this great local company.

We have been using Avalon Exterminating for 2 years. I had issues with ants and roaches when I started with them. It took a few treatments to get rid of the roaches, but now my home is completely pest-free. Their thorough service inside and out has kept pests away. I'm really glad I chose this company based on another satisfied client's recommendation.

Why is it impossible to get through to them on call? Is there a new number no one knows about? They never answer call or return call in site of me leaving very specific voice message? Are they out of business? What is the point of even having a bond with them?

not sure why my parents have been with them for as long as they have. since day 1, we’ve had issues and its not like Avalon ever answers the phone so we can fix it. if i could rate 0 stars i would because it’s ridiculous how much they dont care about customer service. i’ll be looking to change exterminators ASAP

We inherited this company for pest control when we bought our house. I have never been able to reach them by phone or email. They never notify you when service will take place and you are lucky if you get an invoice to pay your account. Very unprofessional and unresponsive.

Slow to respond, sent me past due notice but never sent original invoice.

We have been with them years now definitely not because of quality of service but because of their price. Without any notice we just got a $20 a quarter increase. That is entirely too much of a hike in price and we will be terminating our service.

Rude customer service, and rude technicians coming out. I got a service work completed bill while nobody showed up. I called and the phone attendant said theybeill reschedule. I have cameras around my house. Beware of this.

Always on time always call the day before. And added pest control sand saved $80 a qtr. They are awesome!

Some of the worst customer service we have ever had. We had the owner's wife(customer service) mistake us for someone else with the same last name. She would not listen to understand that she was charging us for service we never received. Unbelievably rude. When she found out she was wrong there was no apology or explanation of her mistake. We were just supposed to deal with her rude voice raised tone. Surprised they stay in business with that mindset. We also just paid for a service yesterday for a treatment completed when we "were not home". Beware of this. We have hundreds of ants in our kitchen after this "not at home" service. We will never use this company again.

I never leave reviews but I feel I need to this time. I'm not sure they actually treat anything at all, the comments they leave on the sheet do not match our property in the slightest. I use their online payment system each quarter which is through paypal and my payment NEVER gets applied to my accout. I've tried to contact them through paypal and have yet to receive a response. Calling is no good becuase my payment still does not get applied to the correct account. Their customer service skills are seriously lacking, each time I get someone on the phone they seemed to be annoyed they are getting a phone call. Please DO NOT consider them for pest control.

Absolutely HORRIBLE company!!! I'm already selling my house and I asked for termite letter. They snuck in ANOTHER inspection just to charge me another fee. The techs that came out even lied and told me that I had to have an inspection done to get a termite letter, which is ABSOLUTE BULL! Especially when I'm already up to date on my inspections. And the lady told me I can request the BUYERS to pay for it. Like really?!!?!? What buyer would want to pay for that, just because I asked nicely??? Is she out of her mind!?!??! And I've had inspections where my gate was locked and wasn't notified but I still had to pay for the inspection and I wondered how they even inspected the house and made remarks without even looking in the back of my yard. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE company. Go with someone else.

I have had their quarterly service for over 10 years. Since installing cameras at the house, I have now realized that they were billing me for services they never provided. Most recently, I had a service scheduled that was confirmed by their staff 10 days prior. On the day of service, no one showed. When I contacted them, it took them two days to get back and tell me that they had to reschedule. Ironically, the next day I received a bill for services on the that date signed off by the technician and never provided. When I called them a week later, they told me that they had come back out and completed everything. It just so happens that I was off that day and no one ever showed! I verified with my camera footage and now believe they have been scamming me all along. Since they have my termite bond as well, it will cost me $1000 to switch to a new service, but I guess the peace of mind will be worth it!

I purchase my Home a year and a half ago and the prior resident had Avalon for termite prevention so I kept them until recently. They charged me each and every quarter and yet I don't think they provided any service, not once did I see them treat my home. On each bill I receive, it is indicated that the customer is not home. The problem with that is I work from home and so at no time since I received service from them were they honest on the form. For me that’s a bad sign. To fix this I called them and asked that they actually contact me next time they treat or else I will not be paying the bill. The following quarter I received a bill slipped in my door at around 1 pm. No knock, no doorbell. So not only are they not trustworthy they also do not follow a request from the customer. Due to the false paperwork I have no way to trust that they actually treated my home. My two dogs go off at the smallest thing. If a person was walking on the other side of the street I would be alerted by them right away with loud alerting barks. However at no time have I been alerted to, or seen someone treating my home for termites. You would think that if they treated all the stations that my dogs would see them since they sunbath at a windows that has two stations right there. I advise anyone and everyone to find another provider.
