Southern Greens Pest Control

I used Southern Greens for approximately two years. Initially, the results appeared acceptable; however, over time the condition of my lawn steadily deteriorated. I experienced an increase in weeds, the development of multiple brown and dead patches, and an overall decline in turf health. There were several areas severe enough that the sod had to be completely replaced. One of the most damaged sections aligns with where the service truck routinely parked, leading me to believe that runoff or residual concentrated treatment from the hose may have burned the grass. Despite consistent service, the long-term outcome was negative, and the lawn required corrective work rather than improvement.

Very pleased with service and with the exterminator, Sam. He immediately recognized the problem and got to work! I would definitely recommend the company, request Sam and use them again in the future.

I have used Southern Greens monthly lawn spraying for many years. We started to have a problem with small areas of dead grass showing up in July. I pointed it out to the tech at that time. No action was ever taken. The photos show the end result by November.. This is the 2nd time I have had problems. Last time I had to lay new sod in several small areas. Terminated service.

Same bugsI since I started with Southern Greens. Have never went away! If they are coming from outside, I need to know for my HOA. I have pictures. I'm scared to sleep in my bedroom

I have been very pleased, not only with the service, but the results. My newly resodded yard was starting to fail. After a few months they revived the grass. I have a great looking lawn now, all I do is water it. Highly recommend them!

This company placed a fraudulent charge on my credit card account. I did not provide any of my credit information to them. They are not professional and they are dishonest and ignorant.

Initial Service with a very friendly driver was good and as promised, results are to be seen, hopefully the first impression is as good as the long term lawn improvement. So base on initial contact and first application a 5 with a future update after a few months of service. *** Update*** it has been 4 1/2 months since my initial service or 4 applications in total and no real changes on my lawn or the amount of insects like Ants mounts on the lawn ( even after asking them to paid special attention to ants), only a reduction on weeds o in my case don't see much of an advantage if my frequent ant mounts and other insects need to be control by me applying chemicals directly to them. Adjusting my rating to 3 Starts an possible cancelling my service.

Had them for 3 years in 2 different houses and they never addressed my concerns about my grass in my new house. I called several times complaining that I had more weeds than grass and they said they could not treat the weed. Whatever they were using was not helping my grass. I was told a manager would come to view it, but they never did. I switched away from them and in 3 months my yard was back to normal. This proved my point that they were using a chemical that not working for my yard.

Today (4-23-09) was our first time using this service. First impression was very professional and positive. Sam was very well informed and completed the lawn service in a timely fashion after inspection of the property with me. First impression was very positive. Rick Kanishak Lakewood Ranch

Southern Green has saved my infestation of aphids and caterpillars. Tony was so quick to respond to come out and look at my problem. I would highly recommend them.

Damn driver ran me off the road

Southern Green Pest Control came out and treated my lawn for pests and it worked great. Then they did another visit to treat for weeds, fertilized and treated for pests again. This visit caused my grass to burn . I contacted Tony at Southern Green and advised him of the burnt grass and said he would send someone to take a look. He contacted me back and said it was the weeds that were burnt. I informed him that the images I sent him of the burnt grass were not weeds. I emailed Tony and said to stop the service and that if my grass continued to die I would be having a discussion with them again. I contacted them today 11/14, via email and said the lawn is worse and asked why this company would not take responsibility for the issues caused by the last treatment? I also referenced their fundamental beliefs listed on their website (see below) "The company’s fundamental belief of fairness, honesty, integrity, and customer service." I have not hear back yet. Follow up. My original post below needs modification. They killed my grass and ruined my yard. Dustin was replaced with a goof ball who burned my yard badly. The owner came out and stated they would correct the mistake, they came one time and then never returned for the next service. On this service we watched him and he only sprayed a section of our yard and then sat in his truck talking on the phone. He was very rude to my wife. I called and left a message that was not returned. I had to replace some sod and take care of it myself. My yard looks great now. They should change their name to Southern Brown. If zero stars was an option I would have given them a zero. Great service and they have my yard looking much better after only two visits! Dustin is our service guy and he is polite, knowledgeable and professional.
