For anyone born and raised here, you know our mosquitoes are no joke. Thank you for the hard work and ongoing effort to manage the mosquito population. Tell all these transplant one star reviewers to go to the swamp at dusk and get a true understanding of what it would be like without you. Bunch of cry babies.

Anyone raised in south west Florida hunting and off-roading in the Everglades has a real understanding how potentially bad mosquitoes can get especially after the first heavy rains at the beginning of wet season. Thank you for your immediate response. The following day I can see a difference in the population.

Help!

Mosquitos are terrible today, where are you? How often do you spray?

I live in Reflection Lakes in South Naples. The biting insects have been horrendous the entire season. I just got back from walking the dog at 7:30pm for about 10 minutes and had about 50 bites! Walking in the door I had about 8 mosquitos physically on me and a swarm of them followed me in the door! The thing that really irritates me is that the CMCD did not spray at all in the summer for the period 7/11 to 9/14, over 2 months! Why? Were the biting insects on vacation? All of our neighbors are complaining also. In sum, the CMCD has done a terrible, horrendous job of controlling the biting insects this year. The question is...when are we going to get any relief?

Mosquito control?!? Change the name to mosquito developers. They literally create mosquitos to destroy our area and don’t care. We live by mosquito control and it is the worse area ever. They should be shut down.

I don't know where the people live writing these reviews, so I have to think they work for the county, we live in Copper Cove and you can't go out of the house once the sun starts going down. You have to wear long sleeves, pants, and a hat if you want to let the dog out, then you have to try and keep them off the dog. I have never seen mosquito this bad. I called the office and the person was nice enough but no one ever got back to me.
