RedTree is absolutely horrible. Do not hire them, they've destroyed our property and have absolutely no concept of what excellence is about. They are so bad. Dead trees, down trees, dead grass, no grass, but the weeds are alive and well... I was forced to leave a one star or else I couldn't post my review...

They do our community landscaping in Hampton Chase. Since taking over we have weeds everywhere in our townhome community. Haven’t been there in 3 weeks now and not responsive to any requests.

I hired this company as it was a refferal from a friend. Had i seen the reviews ahead of time I would have never hired them. That backed into my mom's car and they tried to stage a garbage can like the can fell on itm after reviewing my ring camera it was one of the employees who did it. Unbelievable.

I live in a condo and this company was blowing rocks directly into peoples cars including mine. When i confronted the supervisor he had told me they dont blow rocks up. I will be contacting the better business bureau and will be pursuing this issue thats still continuing to happen even after escalation.

Gigi is the best account manager I have had the pleasure working with for my communities. She is always available to help get answers to my questions and take care of any and all issues that arise. I truly recommend this company and her!

Just wanted to take a minute to let you know how nice your business developer Gigi Kalina is. She was smiling when she visited us she explained things very clearly. She went out of her way to help. Even though we told her we were locked into a 3 year with some other company, she continued to smile and ask questions. She left us with a smile and a request to call her when our contract with the other company was up.

The Account Manager, Gigi, is attentive, listens, and honors special requests for different seasons. This quality has saved each of my exotics over the years. I’m very grateful. I would give 20 stars if I could.

As a community manager, I have called upon Red Tree Landscaping many times in the past. They are always quick and responsive whenever we reach out. If you have ever been disappointed by vendors who don't call back and show up as promised, call Red Tree!

This company is bad they have destroyed trees and plants in my yard after repeatedly asking them to not go near them or that part of my yard. This is on going for a year good luck anyone picking up or call back. Stay away far away.

Absolutely horrendous. I’ve caught staff several times leaving chicken wing bones from their lunch in my lawn, that my dog and the neighbors’ dogs have almost choked on multiple times.

Terrible, due to carelessness they cut an irrigation hose and it's been more than two weeks and no one comes to repair it. Now I have a big water bill and they say they don't answer for the damages of their employees. Unfortunately there is a contract in the neighborhood and we will have them here for a long time, now we will have to check that they have not damaged something every time the gardeners come, because REDTREE is not responsible (the previous companies did and they paid for their mistakes). In addition, the gardeners, if they eat or drink anything, they leave the garbage in our gardens and all the work is done at great speed and therefore they damage the irrigation system. The administrator Karen says that it is the neighborhood's fault for having the irrigation system poorly installed, the hose they cut is seven years old in the same place and they never had a problem. I'm a homeowner and pay HOA dues, and your response isn't true. The frustration with RedTree's landscaping is a widespread concern in our neighborhood. We can provide additional reviews and photographic evidence to support our claims.

Provider response

Wonderful Google fans, thanks for taking the time to read our response. We are directing our response to you because we have repeatedly reached out to Ms. Agredo, only to be met with more demands and ultimately the infamous war cry: “I want to speak to a manager!” Unfortunately for Ms. Agredo, she is not sharing the entire story surrounding her involvement with RedTree. The following are some facts that were omitted:
1) SHE ISN'T OUR CUSTOMER: Our firm does not have any contracted agreement or working relationship with Ms. Agredo. RedTree has a landscape maintenance contract with her homeowners association in which she lives.
2) SHE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HER OWN WATER BILL: Ms. Agredo is subject to the rules and established documents in her association, one of which requires her to pay her own potable water bill. Ms. Agredo lives in a community with 344 other homeowners, all of whom understand that they are responsible for their own water bills.
3) SHE HAS AN IRRIGATION SYSTEM THAT IS OLD, DRY-ROTTED & NOT INSTALLED BY OUR COMPANY: Our company only began maintaining the landscape in Ms. Agredo’s community several months ago. In our time of service, we have found that the irrigation systems on the individual homes in her community are old, improperly installed, dry-rotted, chewed up by rats and neglected. In many cases we are having to re-install new drip lines and irrigation components around the resident’s homes.
4) SHE HAD A DRIP LINE THAT BROKE: Ms. Agredo, like many residents in her community, had a drip line that failed. It may have failed for many reasons, but Ms. Agredo is bound and determined to “blame it on the landscapers.” The reality is that if a lawnmower did happen to nick an irrigation drip line during normal mowing practices, such damage would be a result of the line not being properly installed or coming unsecured due to a variety of possible reasons.
5) SHE WAS ADVISED TO SIMPLY SHUT OFF HER IRRIGATION SYSTEM: When Ms. Agredo reported a broken irrigation drip line, she was advised to simply turn off her irrigation system controller so that the line would not become pressurized and leak. She was advised that she would be put on a work order list and have her system repaired as a non-emergency (since her line would only leak when the irrigation system would send water to the zone that was specifically leaking on watering days). Despite the warning given to her, it appears that Ms. Agredo allowed her system to remain in the “on” position so as to waste water via her leak and further drive up her own monthly water bill.
6) HER BROKEN DRIP LINE WAS REPAIRED AT NO COST TO HER: Ms. Agredo’s work order request was put on a list for our irrigation technician to repair during his one time per week visit to the community where she lives. Ms. Agredo’s drip line was promptly repaired and she was not invoiced for the repair; as her homeowners association has chosen to pay for all irrigation system failures on the homes in the community.

Despite everything said above, Ms. Agredo chooses to “go on the attack.” Unashamedly, she threatened our staff that she would “post it on Google” if we did not pay for her monthly watering bill to the city in which she lives. As Ms. Agredo has most likely become accustomed to, she made good on her threat and here we are.

At some point, there has to come a time when hard-working and honest people stand together and remain unwilling to be extorted into “paying off a consumer” in lieu of being falsely accused, smeared and damaged in the local community with a one-star review. Considering the fact that Ms. Agredo is someone we would never choose to have a business relationship with, it is simply unfair and dishonest of her to take the approach that she has in an effort to “get a free dessert at the restaurant” or “get a free water bill” - whatever scam she attempts to perform in her daily life with whatever business she has an interaction with. Sorry, Ms. Agredo...no free dessert for you.

They came to my complex on July 13th and broke my solar flowers, I called the company and was told I had to email them with pictures. WELL..... The following week they were back and finished off destroying my solar flowers. Still haven't received a reply to my email! This company is a JOKE!

Our community switched to RedTree in March after our previous company let the landscaping get out of control. RedTree came in and replaced sod, fixed sprinklers, replenished the mulch and replaced plants. The community looks beautiful now and they do a great job of keeping it nice. Definitely recommend this company!

This is the most horrible landscaping company I have ever dealt with. I'm on my hoa board and I just can't wait for this 1yr contract to be over with, what a HUGE mistake in hiring them. The grass in my westchase community is destroyed, the palm trees have yet to be fed that is too late now, most of them have died. They promised great work and delivered absolutely nothing!!!! If you're looking for a landscaping company, please trust me, DO NOT hire redtree, you WILL be totally disappointed and have a ton of aggravation!!! They don't even deserve 1 star, they deserve a big fat ZERO!!!

Terrible service. They have made our property look worse. All of our grass is burned, haven’t seen irrigation running around my bldg for weeks. They are too lazy to weed wack so they have sprayed chemicals around objects instead. Brown veg everywhere. Go elsewhere!

The people that work for this company do not understand landscaping. No concept! Hired through our HOA and most of us have had disastrous results from their actions. My first encounter with them was when the guy cut my American Beauty Berry plant in half because it was in his way. Then apparently the owner of the company sprayed industrial weed killer in our flower garden killing expensive plants as well as many other owners here. I sent a bill, but that has been ignored. The hedges never get trimmed and most are 3 feet taller than normal around the property. Landscapers yeah, I use the term loosely. Update: #1 Would you believe they came back and sprayed weed killer in my flower bed again!!! The audacity of these people. Update #2 (8/26/24) I had a beautiful hanging flowering plant over my stone wall that took a year to grow and a worker for Red Tree came and cut it right off at the quick. I found it in a heap on the ground today. I am at a loss at this point. It's like a bad headache that you can't get rid of. They trimmed the ferns and cut all the tops off. Now looks weird. See the pictures.

Nice response. I live on the property so I am a customer of your company as my HOA dues pay you. Your company was the ONLY contractor onsite that was working. I immediately notified your guys and contacted the property manager of the situation (it was NEVER a "MUST HAVE DAMAGED". I did not make an unsubstantiated accusation (I provided photos of where the car was parked, the debris from the landscapers and the damage) When I parked my vehicle at night my windshield was in tact no cracks or issues, when I left out in the morning there was a crack and debris from your guys working. I am NOT swindling your company for a new windshield I am simply asking that since the damage was done by the company landscaping that they make the repair. It is fine though I have forwarded your information to my insurance company and they will handle with you. Although insurance companies replace the windshields at no cost it still hits the policy and I should not have to take that hit when the damage was done while your company was landscaping. I do not have to lie and you are showing your character and how you represent your company by speaking to a paying customer the way that you did. But looking at your reviews you have many unhappy customers so that speaks for itself. It is also funny that you asked for the property name and then came back hours later with a drawn out excuse why you were not going to do anything about it when that should have been your response initially (would it have made a difference if I was at another property you know you were onsite at the time of the incident). Have a great day

Look somewhere else if you want quality landscape maintenance. RedTree services in the community I live in and to say they do poor work is an understatement. They recently laid pine mulch and did new landscaping and it was some of the worst, most lazy work I’ve seen. In meetings, I’ve witnessed our board get talked at by the owner, Peter, who had nothing but excuses and who tried to blame the old landscaper (from two years ago) for the way the community looks at present day. I could say so much more, but I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

This truck was parked in front of my house, so that a major road in my neighborhood was obstructed and I couldn’t get into my own driveway. When I asked the crew why they were parked there? One of them proceeded to scream at me, that they were not in the way…while a food truck pulled up in front of my neighbor’s house and the entire crew proceeded to stand behind it….and were visibly mocking me while i got out of my car. If this is how you want to run a business, I just want to make sure that your potential customers know!
