Roger came out and treated our property. He was very polite and appeared to have done a great job. I wasn’t there at the time. I was able to see all he did on the exterior and he was very thorough. This is my first time using Premier Pest and they have started off right. I’m pleased with customer service as well.

Provider response

Thank you, Johnny — we appreciate you choosing Premier Pest. We're glad Roger was polite, thorough, and that you were pleased with the service and customer care. We'll pass along your compliments to him. We look forward to continuing to protect your property.

Premiere Termite is an excellent company! I feel like I can 100% tell you that because we had an issue with our service and how a company reacts to a problem is what separates a good business from a great one. I was quoted a price for a slab pretreatment over the phone. The Tech came out, did a great job and was super nice! When I called to pay I was give a different price, and told I was quoted incorrectly. I paid it and was rather unhappy. Once upper management heard of the mixup they promptly called to explain where things went wrong. The price I was quoted was honored and a refund was given. When a company takes the extra effort to make things right it really shines and in today’s businesses it is hard to find!

Provider response

Nathan, first of all we appreciate you taking the time to leave such a thorough review. Secondly, thank you for your trust and your patience during this process. We are so glad we were able to honor the original price and do the right thing. We appreciate you!

Technicians do not always show up. One day, the technician did not show up for the day they were scheduled, but marked that they did. Home is equipped with cameras so we knew that was a lie. One technician wouldn't stop talking to us about religion, so we stopped letting him in the house. It was awkward. Their billing/payment system is stuck in the 80s. They also believe it's legal and great customer service to leave you a voicemail saying when they will be stopping by to provide a service. So if you don't get the message, don't have it setup to retrieve it or just don't check your messages, they will show up and charge you for a service they couldn't perform. So they will spray around your front door and charge you for not being scheduled to go do the rest of the property. Worst customer service.

Provider response

Hey Cynthia, we did notate your account for the future and do take complaints very serious. We do leave messages and call in advance to let you know when we will come out for service. In this case we called well in advance, I am seeing a couple weeks in advance. We can notate your account differently if you have specific contact needs. I am forwarding the rest of this complaint to our management. If you would like a re-service, it is covered in your agreement and we will gladly come back out at no charge. Thank you.

We were with Premier Pest Control for 18 years. Never had an issue with our quarterly or yearly service. We added a detach garage which they had been servicing for 15 years. We were told it was covered along with the house. All of a sudden on 10 July 2024 when the owner son came to do our quarterly and yearly services, he said the detach garage was not part of the servicing. I tried to explain to him that a manager at the office told us that it was. He still insisted that it was not. I called the office and everyone had amnesia about the conversation. After speaking to my husband about the situation he told the gentleman to leave. Then the gentleman (owner son) said "good". That is not good customer service. To be the owner's son he should have known better. Owner son or not we deserve better customer service. For that reason, we will no longer be with Premier Pest Control customer! We want the public to know so they don't get treated the same way! After posting this on the BBB site - Premier replied with this: We want to thank you for taking the time to leave our company a review and expressing your concerns. As per the history of the file, when you originally started our services, only the house was treated and put under contract and charged for. We did show that previous technicians had inspected the Detached Garage, but unfortunately they did that out of courtesy and off from the contract. If the Detached Garage would have been included you would have had to pay an initial treatment cost, sign an updated contract showing the Detached Garage included, and your Annual Termite Fee would have increased which as well none of these requirements occurred. When you called into our office on the day of the appointment, you had stated that your husband spoke to the Manager directly about the Detached Garage however, he did not speak to a manager. He spoke with a new pest control coordinator to only schedule the Annual Inspection. We apologize if there were any misunderstandings during that conversation and we do strive to provide the best customer service that we can and are sorry to hear that was not provided to you at the time of your appointment. We will take this into consideration for future customers and services. Thank you, Premier Termite & Pest Control

We had an annual agreement in place for quarterly service visits. The actual reps that came to our home were always very cordial and competent. Unfortunately, their management/in office team is very challenging to work with. After being a client for a year, they apparently upgraded their internal customer management software - resulting in our account being purged and we stopped receiving services. We missed a quarter and realized that no one had been out and I called and they apologized and noted that it was a glitch in their system due to the platform migration. We understood, got re-enrolled and thought all was well. Then, we had a quarterly visit scheduled to occur in September of 2023. On the day that they were supposed to come by, they cancelled the appointment and said they would now be out 6+ weeks later. We said sure, that would be ok. However, 6 weeks after this delayed visit finally occurred, they called and wanted to schedule the next visit a few weeks out and I let them know that it has only been six weeks since the last service and that we are in good shape as this is a quarterly program, we should schedule for January of 2024, not early December. They indicated that their is nothing they can do and that their "system" dictates this schedule. I reminded them that they were the ones that same day cancelled our quarterly visit for the fall and pushed it out, subsequently creating this alternative schedule in the first place. They then said they would talk to management about this and ultimately came back a week later with the same answer - their system wont' allow it. As a final effort to help them solution the problems that they exclusively created for me, the loyal paying customer, I asked if they could simply dis-enroll me from their program and sign me back up and then schedule services for January to get back on the regular schedule. Shockingly, the response was "yes, we can do that, however, as a result of joining the program again, we will have to increase your rates". I could not believe they said this. They violated the terms of our previous agreement repeatedly and couldn't work to overcome the technical issues that they created internally just so I could maintain services every three months as agreed upon. I shared that I would find a different provider at this point. I wouldn't recommend working with this company - it is critical that you have a reliable vendor that you can trust to do the work that you agree on and pay for.

Provider response

We want to express our sincere apologies for the frustration and inconvenience you've experienced with our services.

We acknowledge the lapse in your service due to our transition to new customer management software. We appreciate your understanding as we addressed this by re-enrolling your account.

We apologize for the confusion and inconvenience caused by the rescheduling and timing of your quarterly visits. It was not our intention to disrupt your service experience, and we regret any misunderstanding this caused.

In response to this situation, we proposed several solutions to align your services with the quarterly schedule, including pre-scheduling your next two services and offering the flexibility of one-time treatments. We understand that these solutions may not have met your specific needs, and we regret that our efforts did not lead to a satisfactory resolution.

Regarding the suggested re-enrollment and rate adjustment, this was not intended to inconvenience you but rather to align with our current operational procedures. We realize now how this may have come across as insensitive, especially given the history of your account's management.

We're sorry to see you go and take your feedback to heart for improving our service and communication. Our aim is always excellent service, and we apologize for not meeting this standard in your case. Thank you for your input, and we hope to have a chance to regain your trust in the future.
Well had two homes with them for 8 to 10 years. Recommended them to multiple people. This past year plus a few months they dropped my bond because I have a deck connected to one of my properties and a roof over a porch on the other property. 30 day warning before my bond ran out. Hurricane month and can't get anyone to do a small job which is obvious. I asked them why they would not give at least a one year notice on the last inspection instead of springing this on a long time customer? They were unwilling to be flexible. Anyway I told them what they could do with their business. I see your timely response and it absolutely false. You dropped my primary bond the year before due to the updated policy you had in place. A couple months later you inspected the above referenced house and passed it and continued my bond. This year with the same policy you declined to renew my bond on above referenced house. The new policy states amoung other things "deck connected to house". My "deck" is not connected to my house. The roof over the deck is. I fired you. Deal with it.

Provider response

Mr. Carlisle,
Thank you for taking the time to leave our company a review. After looking into your file, it shows that Premier sent you out a letter to remind you that it was time to renew the Termite Bond. On our letter, Premier did make a notation to inform you that we had made new policy changes. When you spoke with the office to schedule your appointment, we ask you questions to verify if our new policy changes applied to your home or not and you answered no to all our questions. At the time of your appointment, our Technician informed us that you did have a factor that was part of our policy changes. Premier did give you an opportunity to make these changes within 30 days and if the changes were not made, then we would have to proceed with a different type of policy. By the end of the conversation with you on 10/08/2020, Premier were under the impression that you understood. Premier then called you back on 11/05/2020 to follow up with you to see if the changes had been made to the home. You let our office know that the repairs were not done and you did not want to continue with what Premier were offering you. We are sorry to hear that you ended services with Premier unsatisfied, but if you have any further questions or concerns, please give our office a call at 850-932-1313 and speak with Management.

Thank you,
Premier Termite & Pest Control

Do not waste your money on their termite (WDO) inspection service. They will not stand behind their work. They said we didn't have termites; we did. We found them greater than their 30-day warranty, but feel free to ask them what recourse they offer if discovery is found within 30 days. Use anyone else; don't gamble on these folks. --- Responding to Management: A few things: 1. You explicitly (and repeatedly) mentioned I found the termites after your 30-day warranty. I'm unsure what you are claiming now with no warranty. What does the 30-day period refer to then? For simplicity, it could have been a 1-day period - my point was termites were there when you guys inspected (both before and after). You stated you "performed a service." For others reading this, please note Premier made no claim of an "accurate service" being performed. 2. I stated explicitly (and repeatedly) that the termites (and damage) was easily visible by showing a flashlight into the crawlspace. It was not even necessary to crawl under there, move obstructions, etc. Again, this was all visible from outside the four walls of the home. 3. I could have made wild claims like you need to reimburse me for the extra expense on the extra demolition work needed, etc., but all I wanted was my $100 fee back. 4. I offered you the chance several times to return to the site to confirm the damage; you refused. 5. My home inspector didn't look for termites - that's what I hired Premier to do (and he knew that). If I wanted my inspector to be responsible for the termite inspection, I wouldn't have employed Premier. I realize you won't be refunding my $100, but I hope my posting here (and many more in the future) will spare others to choose a different service provider. I've already informed my realtor and encouraged her to relay my experience to her colleagues. I will keep posting in all of the avenues I can find in hopes of influencing as many others as I can. Update: Please continue to not use these folks for at least termite inspections; I can't comment on other services, but the termite inspection would seem to be the easiest to perform.

Provider response

Mr. Anderson,
As per our phone conversation, back in May of 2020 we completed a Wood Destroy Organism Report. We tried to explain that a Wood Destroying Organism Report (WDO) for Real Estate closing in the State of Florida does not come with any type of warranty. On the front page of the Wood Destroying Organism Report (WDO), it clearly states that it is a visual inspection only on that day of service. You explained that the Home Inspection back from May 2020 saw no evidence of damage. You only found evidence after you started your renovations. The reason the Wood Destroying Organism Report (WDO) is written and/or wrote up a specific way is because we cannot see behind walls or inaccessible areas. We are sorry that you are going through these inconveniences at this time. If there is anything else that we can help explain to you regarding the inspection or the paperwork, please contact our office at 850-932-1313.

Thank you,
Management

The only positive of this company is the people we have encountered have been mostly nice. We have annual termite inspection and service. We also sign up for quarterly maintenance and treatments and always pay on time. We noticed a termite nest with damage about 6 weeks after their supposed treatment and inspection. We contacted them on a Thursday evening to come out first thing Friday morning only to be told they could not. There was a supposed escalation to a manager but still the answer was no and no one came out to even look at the issue. Our issue has now worsened and as time goes on, damage gets worse but they don't care. I attempted to call with no answer and no ability to leave a message either as their "mailbox is full". I'm hoping they get back to us but my confidence is dwindling. How can you even post on your website "100% satisfaction guarantee" and treat customers that way? Orkin and Terminix both can come out (they have 24/7 answering service by the way) but if they do, our contract with Premier will be negated. Not only do they neglect their customers but they handcuff you for getting help from people who are willing and able. Do NOT use this company if you care about your home!

Provider response

S.A,
After reviewing your file, it shows that Premier did not speak to you until Friday morning of 05/16/2020. When you called on Thursday evening on 05/15/2020, our office was already closed for the day. When we spoke to you on Friday of 05/16/2020, we offered to schedule an appointment for the 1st appointment on Monday 05/19/2020 and if we could get you in sooner, Premier would give you a call back to move the appointment up if possible. You asked if you could call another company out to treat the home, but Premier explained that only one Termite contract is allowed to be on the home at a time. Premier explained that if you chose to go with another company before Premier could come out to assess the situation, the contract would automatically be voided if they treated the home. When you attempted to call us back, you had called over the weekend of 05/17/2020-05/18/2020. Our normal business hours are from Monday-Friday from 8 am - 5 pm. Due to our office not being opened on weekends and no one is able to check the messages, the voicemail box was full and is only able to hold a certain amount of messages at one time. We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with Premier's service, but would like to thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.

Thank you,
Premier Termite & Pest Control

We had an awful experience with this company and would not recommend them. After 14 years of being loyal customers and always paying on time we had a WDO inspection to sell our home and termites were found in our shed and they refused to cover it. They stated that despite it being on their diagrams and being checked and treated annually the structure was not covered and all of that had simply been a 'courtesy' by their technicians.

Provider response

Mrs. Winter,
We would first like to thank you for taking the time to leave our company a review. We're very sorry to hear that your experience with Premier didn't meet your expectations. We did look back through the file and did see that there was a quote provided to you on July 9, 2015 to add the shed to the Termite contract on the home. After the quote was provided there was no paperwork, contract, or payment showing that the shed was to be added to the bond in the system or the file. We apologize for any services that were provided to you as a courtesy that lead to any misunderstandings and will make sure that we take this into consideration to better our company. If you have any questions or would like to discuss this matter please feel free to give us a call at your earliest convenience at 1-800-246-0373.

We had Premier since closing on our house about 3 1/2 years ago. Since then we have had two succesive years with termite damage, which Premier treated and repaired. However, this year we were never notified that our policy needed renewal as it had been years past. I called to see if we needed to renew and make our annual payment but was told only that we didn't owe anything. Never were we told that our policy had lapsed. A few months later I called to see if we could get Sentricon bait stations put in our yard only to be told we weren't covered presently and that they wouldn't pay for damage repairs anymore for stucco homes (which we have). I asked to speak with the manager but was told "he's not in" and "we don't know when he'll be back in office". I asked for him to call me....no call in 3 weeks. Easy to see we've been dropped from their company and they could care less. However, we are very happy now to have Terminix for our termite coverage. Very professional and prompt; opposite of Premier.

Provider response

Mr. Stalnaker,
When you originally called in asking if anything was owed on the account, unless an invoice is processed and services have been performed, then there would not show anything to be owed. With our Termite Bonds, we send out a courtesy letter to remind you that services are due, if the mail did not return to our office then we would not know that you did not receive our letter. When you called in about getting a Sentricon Quote, we provided you with the amount that our technician had previously quoted you. You declined the service along with any options that we could offer you. From that point when you asked to speak to the General Manager in regards to your property, we let you know that he was not in the office and that we did not know when he was going to be in the office due to business meetings and being in the field quite often. You then proceeded to let us know that we were just trying to get you off the phone and hung up on our office. We are sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with Premier, but would like to thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.

Premier Termite & Pest Control
5189 Gulf Breeze Pkwy
Gulf Breeze, FL 32563
Office: 850-932-1313

On 10 October hurricane Michael devastated our area with 140+ mile per hour winds along with tornadoes. We were without power and water for over 20 days. Trees and debris was scattered throughout my property and I had to cut our way in through access roads as well as my property. During the cleanup I was contacted by Premier to do my annual pest inspection which was due in November. I explained that the area was in shambles and asked if we could wait till Early January as all my finances were going toward cleanup and getting us back to some sort of normal. They said no and that if not done in the month due it would cancel. They stated that if I paid the annual fee they could postpone inspection. I reiterated that all my money needed to go toward getting ourselves in a livable condition. I am retired on fixed income trying to get our home back in order and again they were adamant about making the payment less I be cancelled. We hung up and during November/December continued cleanup and repairs. No further calls from them so I called Premier on 5 January and left message saying that I have majority of trees cleared and asked what do we need to do to get back on schedule. They called me on 7 Jan and stated that my bond was cancelled and needed to discuss with the manager and get back with me. Note that it had been only 36 days since end on November which was inspection month. At end of January I received s call from them saying i could reinstate with a new account at new account price ($450.00). I said I would think about it and said goodbye. It was quite obvious that all they were concerned about was collecting the dollars and no empathy toward what all us folks were going though trying to recover from the storm. Note that I had been with these folks on a previous home as well as four years on the current one!!! Thanks for nothing!

Provider response

Rob, we would like to thank you for taking the time to leave us a review in regards to your experience. All of our termite bonds must be completed in the month that they were contracted in, unless prepayment is made in which then we may schedule outside of the month.

Our office spoke with you on October 31st, in regards to the termite bond and renewing services. We were explained that the home itself was not damaged by Hurricane Michael, however the November Termite bond would need to be scheduled into the month of December. We understood the situation that was going on and agreed to complete the inspection at a later date in December as long as a form of prepayment was sent in even if it was just a small portion. By the end of the conversation, Premier was under the impression that sending prepayment in was no issue at all.

On November 6th, our office spoke with you again in regards to the Termite Bond. At the time of the conversation we re-iterated that as long as some form of prepayment was sent in we could schedule into the following month of December. Before we could discuss the bond any further, you stated that you were upset with our company and proceeded to hang up on our employee.

From that point on, we did not hear back from you until two months later on January 7th. At that time you were then ready to discuss scheduling services for the Termite Bond, but the bond had been already been cancelled at the end of November. You stated that you would think about it and we did not hear back from you after that.

Please give our office a call as we would love to try to resolve this issue.

Premier Termite & Pest Control
5189 Gulf Breeze Pkwy
Gulf Breeze, FL 32563
Office: 850-932-1313

Premier was scheduled to come to my home at 330. After no one showed I called and they said they would call me back when they found out what was going on. 30 minutes later and over hour into waiting, I called yet again. She said her tech was running late and he would be to us between 5 and 530. I agreed but explained this was a secondary home and that we went out of our way to be here. At 530 I get a call from the tech saying he won't make it!!! Very very unprofessional and completely disappointing! Obviously very undependable!
