Signature Home Lawn and Pest Control

I have used signature since 2007. Pest control is great, but 2-3 weeks ago I noticed my Japanese maple wasn't doing well so I called. The guy was supposed to come out next day. No show, no call! Not really happy about this. Then talking to secretary she didn't seem to care. I told her about tree guy not showing up and I don't want to be billed for that. She asked if I wanted to cancel my pest control. I said no, but that could be arranged if they don't want my business. Time for new secretary! Melody Stewart

My lawn has always been one of the best, if not the best, lawns in my community. When the company I was using got bought by Signature I was concerned that the level of care to my lawn might diminish under the new company. My concerns were put to rest. Signature has maintained the same level of care, and I couldn't be happier with the attention my lawn gets from technician Douglas M. He is diligent to point out areas of concern before they become an issue. Very happy with him.

Had them for a number of years. Then I did not get answers as to why tech didn’t show up or once but twice within in one week. Didn’t return texts Two appts didn’t show up and didn’t have courtesy to call or text.

I recently bought a house and the previous owner paid for a contract with this company and they left us a note that they will come to the end of this year. I called to find out what type of chemicals they put on the lawn. Sabrina, at this company took my call. She stated that the chemicals should be on the contract. I told her the previous owned left very detailed notes about everything and on the invoice it didn't state any chemicals. She told me I had to look again. My wife called back and in the mean time Sabrina had called the previous owners. Not sure why, but she then told my wife that they will not be coming the rest of the year since the property changed hands. My wife said that they aren't even giving back the previous owners 1/2 a year credit. Sabrina was rude and dismissive and needless to say we will not be using this company. There are plenty out there in this state.

JD came out assessed my lawn and the issues I pointed out. His knowledge and insight was on point. Informed me exactly what I needed to do. I definitely would recommend not only signature but request JD. With whatever your lawn care needs are or issues you’re having.

We have used signature for a while now. We have not been overly impressed with their customer service. We wanted to give them a chance. This past Thursday the technician called to see if he could come by and do our lawn and ornamentals in the front and back yard. I said that would be fine. I was home and realized he only did the front of the yard. When I called on Friday I was told he did do and if he was ablle to describe something specific in my backyard then he was there. I guess he failed the test. He came back on Friday to do what he missed. Never once did we ask them to fertilize our potted plants. When watering them I noticed a hand full of granules in them. The one ornamental potted plant I never wanted fertilized is my desert rose. Which he took upon himself to do. I called today and spoke with customer service the woman said it was no big deal and would have Craig call me back just to confirm. Craig was under the impression it was a rose bush. When I explained what it was and how expensive this plant is, Craig told me to drench it with water. I explained I have been told that could not be done because it would cause root rot to the plant. He told me well it is out when it rains. No, it is under and overhang. Needless to say if you are thinking of this company for you lawn care think again. The customer service is terrible and their technicians do not do the whole job when they think no one is home.

Dangerous driver! Not paying attention, I witnessed him almost side swipe 2 cars on 75 Friday morning. I wouldn't want him on my street

We had an issue with bugs and they came out, looked at the problem and told us they would replace the sod and the plants that had gotten burnt out. It took a while but all is good

My grass went from green and lush to dead and infested with grubs in less than a year. A huge waste of money. Do not go with this company. I will be looking for someone who knows something about grass.

I used this lawn care service for 8 months, and my lawn only got worse. They failed to eliminate the weeds, which spread even more, and they killed a section of my lawn while trying to treat dollar weed. Now, nutsedge is taking over parts of the lawn. I do not recommend using their services.

I have been with Signature for 3 years and am very pleased with the results. It has been a battle getting rid of the St. Augustine in my Zoysia lawn, but my technician, John, through consistent treatment has effectively restored my lawn. I now have a healthy stand of Zoysia which is the best I’ve had in 7 years.

Alex Nagel is our technician and has been for quite a while now. He takes a lot of time to make sure we get the proper treatment for both our lawn and shrubs and always takes time with us if we have questions or concerns. He's the best!

Our tech, Jeff DeGroat provides excellent service. Always lets us know when he's coming, does a thorough job and provides a detailed report, as well as advice on watering times, etc. Highly recommend Jeff.

He treated my lawn, and because I was "scared" by a landscaper doing work next door telling me that mushrooms in my grass were the variety that could kill palms, he came back out the very next day and reassured me we are in great shape. Jeff has been our technician for some time and he has been doing a terrific job spotting issues that we often miss. He always rings the bell when he arrives, tells us of any issues, and describes what he plans to do to address him. Thanks to him our property looks great.

Alex alerted me ahead of time that he was on his way. He introduced himself at our front door and then advised me on what he was going to spray. He did a great job!!
