Hometown Pest Control is a full service, family owned and operated company located in Delray Beach, Florida. We are committed to providing the highest quality of service to protect you and your property against unwanted pests. Originally founded in 1997 by Salvatore Yanello, a Certified Pest Control Operator, and Adeline Yanello, our company was initially established to service the Boca Raton and Boynton Beach areas. We have grown over the years and expanded our service areas, as well as increasing the kinds of services we provide.

Yasmany has been my service person for over a tear now. He always communicates the day and a time frame that he will be servicing my house. He always does a great job and checks with me. Services have fallen off dramatically. Numerous missed appointments. Can't get a call back after 5 attempts.

Not a serious company, they quoted a service for our HOA which they didn’t honor. After they scheduled and made the whole community take the day off work, they canceled. The day after, they told us that they wanted double the amount they quoted for the job so we had to cancel. A complete waste of time and money.

Sorry this did not work out for your HOA. <br>However, we refuse to put our employees in unsafe conditions and after further inspection in areas that weren't accessable prior we deemed it just that, unsafe.
Salesman was too large to get all the way in my attic. He promised spraying 3 ft up and 3 ft out. The one who came ran out of spray after 1 minute and went back to the truck to get a small jug of crystals. He put just a few down in the back of my house and pretended that would take care of the problem. That was not what I expected. I canceled the contract within 3 days because the ants did not stop or since then. I have been harassed by the company since. UPDATE: Todd called and apologized and took off the invoice. He offered to spray for free but I declined. Big Thanks to Google reviews.

Klinger did our monthly service this past January, for the 1st time, since we've had Hometown Pest Control for over 5 years. His service was more than excellenet. He went far & above what was expected, always with a smile! Hope we continue to enjoy Klinger's monthly service calls!

I used this service many years ago and their product worked well. I stopped using them for reasons I didn’t remember until I just tried scheduling them to give me an estimate for renewing extermination services. They gave me 4-hour window to show up. Now that I’m into the 5th hour and my morning has been completely wasted, I decided to write this review and discourage anyone from thinking this is a serious company. The good news is I don’t see any ants around my house right now. I think they died of old age waiting for Hometown to show up.

I have used Hometown Pest Control for years to take care of my lawn and trees and all landscaping for fertilizer to weed control. I have contacted them many times over the years to let them know that the weeds are taking over my lawn and the strength of my lawn has diminished greatly since using their service. I was always given the same excuse that it’s too hot to use weed control. If they had strengthened the lawn during the cooler months we would not have this problem. They also sprayed something wrong on my trees which turned them yellow in two days. The lackluster response from management and the whole company was very poor. The response was that they have a new monthly program that will cost me 3 times what I was paying before for quarterly treatment. By the way, the plan that I had for years was the highest and best plan offered for taking care of my lawn, trees, and shrubs. Todd, the manager of Hometown sent a technician to my home today to see what could be done as a last resort and the technician said that due to my having too many weeds it would kill off most of my lawn. The technician also stated that my lawn was not properly taken care of over the years. If it had been properly taken care of, my lawn would not be in this condition. Money wasted. I reached out to Todd again and he only cared about selling me the new more costly program instead of taking responsibility for the damage done in the past. STAY AWAY FROM Hometown Pest Control for your landscaping. Terminix purchased Hometown Pest Control in 2018 and I have not been able to reach anyone from their corporate offices. We have a yearly contract with them. Last guy that was here did not do a good job at all! I wanted to bring it to a supervisor so it can be rectified, I contacted their costumer service a few times and email them, asking a supervisor to contact me but no one called me back! That was couple weeks ago by now...
Hometown Pest Control serviced our property under a service agreement. After it expired they continued to “service” the property unknown to us; unknown because we never saw them and were never invoiced. However, after nearly a year they invoiced us for over $1200. When I spoke to Hometown they said they’d been servicing the property regularly. I told them it was completely false and on a specific day had seen a Hometown truck pull up in front of my property while I was doing yard work and immediately leave without anyone ever exiting the truck, and it was invoiced at $178. Even during my service contract I requested a yard flag be placed in the yard after service but never was one placed leaving me wondering if I was ghosted throughout my entire contract. I saved one such ghosted service call from my security cameras. Hometown Pest Control will happily invoice you for service never performed. Check your cameras and find a new pest control service provider.
I have been trying for over a week for a billing problem to be corrected and still have not been given an answer. I canceled their services over a year ago and only recently received a statement for something that their GM at the time told me that I would not have to pay. They never call back even though I have called several times to correct this. They now put me in collection and, even after calling almost everyday for over a week, I still have not received any information to cancel this. Stay away from this company if you ever want an actual person (whether it is billing or an actual supervisor for the services). My main problem that had me cancel their services was because of 1 dead tree, a few dead shrubs, 3 large palm trees that were dying, and NO ONE would call me back in order to correct any of these problems. I am posting here because I am hoping that this might get their attention and perhaps save someone else from dealing with what I have had to deal with.

The company does not tell the truth about when the they will service you-they have missed appointments with me despite promises to the contrary 3 weeks in a row. Their lack of professionalism is hard to believe. They deserve a zero. They were supposed to be at my house between 2-4pm. It is now 4:33 pm and no one has showed up or called.They deserve a zero.

Really should be 0 stars. They don’t show up for scheduled appointments, show up when you’re not home, claim they provided service (outside) and charge you for service that didn’t happen. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. They promised to refund my money. Didn’t happen! Details of my experience on BBB website.
