Our apartment had a terrible ant trail running from the balcony door straight into the living room. The guy who came was very patient and didn’t mind that my toddler kept following him around asking questions. By the second day the ants were almost gone, and now there’s no sign of them at all.

Matthew is so kind! I inquired about removing a small wasp nest that was in an exhaust vent cap and as he happened to be in my neighborhood, he stopped by and took care of it free of charge. He was very knowledgable and I'll absolutely keep him in mind for future needs!

Matthew came out the next day after I called him to take care of a yellow jacket nest by my front walkway. He was very communicative over the phone, explained what he was going to do and let me know the price ($249) for the one-time service. From the time he arrived, he had taken care of the situation in about 30 minutes. I'm very happy with the results and would use him again for any future pest situations.

I never thought I'd need an exterminator for fleas here in northern Colorado, but apparently, rabbits brought fleas into my yard. It has been a nightmare for me and my dogs and my indoor cats who even got them! Matthew had a plan to rid my yard of fleas that was safe for my elderly tiny dogs. He was cautious not to spray any flowers (to reduce risk to pollinators). He put out bait boxes that would attract mice and rabbits to dust them with flea powder to kill the fleas on them since they were the vector that spread the fleas. Matthew's knowledge and communication were excellent. I trust him and felt comfortable with his plan, especiallybecausehe took my specific needs (elderly small dogs) into consideration. If you need an exterminator for problems on your property, I highly recommend Poudre Pest Control.

I called Poudre Valley Pest control for a bug issue that I couldn’t identify. Other companies had given me quotes upwards of $300, sight unseen. Poudre Valley Pest came out within a few hours, identified the problem, and told me how to fix the issue myself for $10. I always appreciate a company that won’t take advantage and try to upsell a customer! If we have issues in the future I will definitely be giving them a call. Oh, and a bonus, he was very sweet to my dogs :-)

As honest as it gets; could have easily sold us on needed services the same way that national competitors did, but instead told us the actual issue instead of trying to sell in services. So thankful for their help!

They were able to respond quickly to our pest issue, find the root problem, resolve the problem quickly (within 24 hours), and came back a week later to make sure there were no further issues. They don’t do birds. So if you’ve got a flicker pecking holes in your house look somewhere else.

I don't like killing things (I have a Mason jar tactic to shuttle spiders indoors > outdoors), but a small hive of European Paper Wasps took residence in the soffit of house. We were all getting along fine, but I knew it'd be a matter of time before they got into the house or someone (ie. dog) got hurt as it was the soffit above back patio. I found Poudre Valley Pest Control and knew right away that Matthew is good people. Poudre Valley Pest Control handled the hive thoroughly and took care of my house. I enjoyed chatting + learning more about Yellowjackets versus European Paper Wasps (the more friendly wasp) and how to tell the difference. European Paper Wasps are pollinators and forage for meat in the form of caterpillars and larvae (garden benefit!). Any future pest consults (I hope not to kill many more creatures) or issues, I know who to call. Thanks Matthew!

I want to give a shout out to Matthew Snodderly of Poudre Valley Pest Control. As more businesses go corporate, here is a home grown graduate of Poudre High School who had been working with a company which went corporate. Now he is the owner of this new business. I was very impressed with Matthew getting back to me initially on a Saturday, calling when he was enroute to my house, very thorough in his inspection and VERY FAIR in his price to mitigate my mouse problem. I have every confidence Matthew and I are on the same team to keep the critters at bay and out of my house given my smorgasbord of food with gardens and bird feeders. He set traps and filled entry holes and set bait stations outside. The fact is I can't get rid of all the mice but with his help can keep them outside. And he will help with other things as they try to come into my home like spiders and ants. Thank you Matthew. I look forward to our working relationship.
