Next Level Inspections

If I could give zero stars I would. BIG RED FLAG!! First, we hired AJ Cross to complete our home inspection, but we got someone else that we don't even know if they were certified, licensed, nor held any other credential. We don't even know his name, because the inspection report came to us under AJ Cross's name. So many things were wrong, but highlights are: 1) a flashing was noted that was incorrect on the roof; however a licensed roofer stated it was perfect; 2) stated that a protective cover over the outside mini-split was bad; however, without the cover the snow would bury the unit in winter and there was plenty of airspace around the unit for correct functioning; 3) stated there was mold in the attic - which there was; however, the remediation work was done by AJ Cross (yes, we thought he was the home inspector - confusing); we later learned that this is highly unethical - for a home inspector to also perform work to correct things wrong in the inspection report (I mean, obviously a HUGE conflict of interest here as they could find many things wrong that were not and then offer to do the work for more money!) 4) The so-called "mold remediation" work done in the attic was subpar at best and had to be redone. The quote provided by AJ Cross was hokey at best and was under another business name for an address that was in a different location as our hour 5) AJ Cross is also supposedly the pest inspector, but we could not find relevant licensing information with the state of California. HUGE REG FLAGS!! And yeah, we feel a little silly letting our Realtor lead us to this business. Needless to say, we had to have it all re-done with a reputable inspector, had to pay licensed trade people to look at things that never needed to be fixed...I could go on, but I will stop here. Please, look elsewhere.

Prompt, professional, accurate and organized with online reports and work orders. Highly recommend AJ! My only regret is not calling him as soon as my home was completed.
