49er Termite & Pest Control

Service by technician was great. Billing this last year was poorly managed. They showed I was behind on payments and needed me to provide cancelled checks. I did it, but I also changed service companies. Sometimes when messes like this happen in office, it’s better to just believe your great, long time clients. Customer service is everything.

I am a long-time 49er customer and their is always on time and good. However, I wanted to report an infestation of ants. I called their office several times only got an answering machine. Left message to call me back, none came, which surprises me, given the excellent service 49er has provided over the years

Krystal, Jason and the founder, Jack, are all exceptional people and do great pest control . They are very thorough and know their bugs! They have been in business a long time and have earned our trust with how they conduct business. They always do what they say they are going to do.

Poor billing service. The person who sprays is very nice, but they failed to charge our correct card for over a year without noticing. We called to talk to them and the resolution was to hit us with 14 months of charges. All of this without warning resulting in an unexpected $525 charge right after Christmas.

The team at 49ers termite is awesome! They were professional, punctual, and thorough from start to finish. They quickly identified the problem, explained everything clearly, and took care of both pests and termites.

Excellent Service and really cool and down to earth people. They did an inspection for us and ultimately recommended that the property probably didn’t need any attention right now, but we will call them for a follow up on our rentals in the future! They could have taken our worry of legitimately finding termites and sold us on a huge package, but you can tell they care about their customers beyond a check. Would 100% recommend! I've had many professionals work on my houses, but none compare to Krystal, Jason and their team there at 49'er. They on time, proficient, courteous. Did our inspection and had our estimate quick. Hired them to do the work for Termite damage and would hire them again. Hands down the best money spent on protecting my families investments.

I am not someone to write reviews. My intentions are always there, but life gets busy. However, every now and then you run across a company that is so remarkable you make time to write a review. 49er Termite and Pest Control is exactly that company. We purchased a home in October of 2022. We had all the inspections performed including a pest inspection prior to the purchase. With the promise of the inspectors, more specifically the pest inspector, that the house was clear of pests, fungus, and dry rot we purchased our home. June of 2023, we started remodeling the master bathroom and ran into a huge problem. TERMITES and lots of them. My contractor suggested I call 49er Termite and Pest Control immediately. Within a few hours I received a call back from Krystal. I explained the situation and she promptly scheduled our house for a visit. Within seconds of their arrival, they had already located termite tubes and damage from a wood-boring beetle. They crawled under our house and located not only more evidence of termites and wood-boring beetle but, water leaks, dry rot, and fungus. Now at this point, it is easy to think that they found this destruction to make a buck. After all, they repair and treat for all the above. They patiently sat down with my husband, contractor and me and explained our options. The first thing they suggested we do was contact the previous inspector and allow him to make it right. They were not after a payload; their goal was to make sure we did not suffer the consequences of a poor inspection. Krystal, the inspector that crawled our house, even made a follow-up call to me to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. WOW now that is service! They managed to save us thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands of dollars. Due to their in depth knowledge of the field they were able to explain the problem had been there for years. That means, when the inspections were done initially the problems were present. I cannot recommend this company enough. They are extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and thorough. They are far superior to ANY company I have dealt with in years. It is our absolute pleasure to recommend this company to anyone looking for an honest, hard-working company! Great service for many years, finally cancelling it took an act of god! It was like the worst gym membership! Multiple emails followed up with phone calls after months process took from July to oct to finally end service. I did everything right with notifications crazy! Had to threaten them with trespassing!

I would highly not recommend this company. They gave this completely outrageous estimate. I almost lost the sale of my home because of their false estimate. If anyone else feels the same way and would like to start a class action lawsuit with me send me comment, and then we can start discussing legal action.

We've been using 49er for routine pest service. They do a great job. Makes a world of difference for our home. No cobwebs or spiders to deal with anymore. 😊

Good staff know what there doing

Awesome family-owned local business and glad we inherits them. Long story short, the 49ER was the one to inspect the house we purchased and that’s the reason we got to interact with them. They were super thorough and small spots that we wouldn’t have noticed but they did so the seller fixed matter for us. Jason is amazing, he’s so patient with so many of our silly questions and any of our concerns even for kind of insects that wasn’t their responsibility. All their fees were very reasonable, and I can tell they are very reputable folks that not those businesses which try to take advantage of folks don’t know about pest. Trust me, I have ran into those and can spot them right on.

Keep an eye on the work they do. They just covered up the dry rot instead of removing and replacing the siding

They were excellent! We never had a issue with any spiders or insects in the 4 years they serviced us. Robert was great, and very informative. If we weren't moving, they would still be with us.
