James Hall is a second generation pest control expert and he and his sister Annie, who runs the office, could not be more professional and pleasant. James performed a localized termite treatment under my hardwood floors that involved drilling small holes, injecting pesticide foam, and filling the holes, which he perfectly matched in color. The cost was reasonable and comes with a 2-year warranty. I heartily recommend Hall Bros.

Hall Bros bid on a job and I ended up going with another company. The other company, who I won't bad mouth here, did not take care of the issue. In looking at both proposals, the treatment Hall Bros was recommending was the right one and would have taken care of everything the first time. I definitely regret not using Hall Bros and will definitely call them first next time. All termite companies are not created equal! Don't make the same mistake I did!

Termite fumigation review of Hall Bros We contacted Hall Brothers after we found dry wood termites and beetles in several areas in our home exterior and interior. Their Yelp reviews were all positive, and we felt like we could trust this company to complete the job with the highest standards. Unfortunately, our hopes and trust in Hall Bros. was broken on many levels throughout the process. Their communication and follow-through with us was often problematic. I live in a 4-unit condo in Sausalito, 3 of the units are owner-occupied and 1 unit is rented, but was vacant weeks prior to fumigation. It took several months to find a time that was suitable for everyone. When we settled on dates that worked for us, we scheduled an “orientation” meeting with James Hall a few weeks before fumigation would begin. James Hall is primarily a middle-man who manages the contract between you and the fumigation company, Best Care. During this meeting, James discussed how to prepare the inside and outside of your home prior to fumigation and he described the tenting process. We were told the tent would cover our front decks and the fence we shared with our neighbors, and we were asked to get our neighbors to prepare their soil for the tenting and sign off on the contract. He also discussed leaving our house keys in a safe place that we communicated with Best Care so they could enter the house. He asked that we pay for the fumigation in full at the meeting, and I was naïve enough to believe we had nothing to worry about so our check was cashed by Hall Bros. weeks before the fumigation process began. During fumigation, I stopped by the house on Saturday to see how things were going. I found the fence we shared with our neighbors wasn’t covered, and 2 of our units front decks weren’t covered. When I called James early Saturday morning to express my concern about why the tenting was done this way, he said, “That’s the way Best Care decided to do it. They didn’t see any signs of termites on those parts of the property so they didn’t cover it. You are the only one who is upset.” Of course, all the other owners were out of town during the process. I was surprised to hear that my entire unit wasn’t tented because no termites were seen. One of the units in the complex was fully tented, although his entire front deck was rebuilt months earlier. Another issue I brought up was that several exterior plants that we told wouldn’t be tented were under the tent. James had no explanation for this. I asked James to come to the house to take a look at the property with me, but he said he wouldn’t be available until Monday, the day the tents were coming down. When the tents came down on Monday, we received an email from Best Care saying our house keys were left under our front door mat. When I called Best Care to see if the keys could be left where they found them, they said they were no longer in the area. When I asked my neighbor to collect the keys from my front door, she told me they weren’t there. I called Best Care, and after they looked further into the matter, they told me all the keys were left in the vacant rental unit. My neighbor also explained she wasn’t sure how effective the treatment was because the tent wasn’t secure with flaps often seen billowing in the wind. Granted, it has been an exceptionally windy time of year in Sausalito, but this information doesn’t sit well with me. At this point, our fumigation is complete, Hall Bros. has been paid in full. We all spent a lot of time, effort, and money prepping and getting our building fumigated. Although my neighbors may not be as expressive as I am, I’m not alone in my opinion that Hall Bros. didn’t do their part in addressing my concerns and managing this process. Please take this review in consideration before preparing to hire this company to manage your fumigation process.

Hall Bros. provided extermination of subterranean termites & wood beetles at my home in Nov. 2022. I had recently purchased my home and termites were noted in my home inspection. I reached out to Hall Bros. as I saw they had stellar reviews on Google & Yelp. I was thrilled by the incredible customer service of the whole team, which is a family run business. James Hall, in particular, provided the services on my home and went above and beyond to make sure all of my issues were addressed. He also kindly accommodated my schedule and the schedule of some other work I had performed concurrently on my house. It's been several months since my extermination and it seems that the pests are gone for good. I can't thank Hall Bros. enough for their great work. They provided best-in-class services!

The five star reviews are well deserved. A year or so following termite work we discovered a small area where termites returned. James returned and addressed the issue. James also addressed issues in our rental property. I trust James's opinion. He won't try and sell you services you don't need.

I was experiencing an ant invasion in my home. I called Hall Bros, and James was able to come out that day. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He treated the inside and outside of my home. He discovered where the ants were coming in. I was very pleased with his service and couldn't be happier to get this ant problem eliminated before the holidays. I will use Hall Bros for all of my pest control needs.

This is the only termite company I trust! When we bought our house five years ago, it had both ground termites (I forgot their name) and dry wood termites as well as carpenter ants. Another large brand company told us the only option was to tent the house to the tune of $5K plus all of the surrounding landscaping dying. Hall Brothers came in and took care of both types of termites without tenting saving us over $10K if you take the cost of the plants we would have needed to replace and renting an AirBnB. Five years later everything is still great - we even did a major roof project recently which proved their treatment did the trick. Honestly, they are so knowledgeable about termites and other damaging insects as it has been their family business for years and years. They are also so kind and pleasant to work with!

Hall Bros. Are the most honest and knowledgeable contractors we have used. The first company had told us that we need to fumigate the entire house, kill all of our plant and pay a huge some. Hall Bros. were able to inspect and narrow down exactly what type of termite in which specific area was active. They treated those areas 5 years ago and we are still good. I highly recommend them.

These guys are awesome! I bought a new home that had termites, dry rot and wood boring beetles - we had them all treated though Hall Bros. and we were super pleased! James Hall was very responsive at every juncture and explained each of the treatments. They were professional and all around great to work with. Highly recommend!

James with Hall Brothers was great to work with. In my initial inquiry, he called me back in after hours and answered all of my questions and even gave me advice on how to quickly protect some books that were in danger of termites. He was thorough, responsive, and offered a solid warranty. You won’t be disappointed if you go with them!

James was so responsive and thorough in his communication, educating us about termites and offering several abatement options that worked for us and the design of our house. His price was very reasonable, he arrived on time and completed the work in the time frame promised. Bonus-he alerted us to a few unrelated problems he observed while inspecting beneath the house and provided a thorough report of both the termite issue and the other identified issues. Words that come to mind from our experience with James include honesty, integrity, and professionalism. Plus he is just the nicest person. Highly recommend Hall Bros.

James Hall was fantastic and worked with us quickly and professionally to help us fumigate for termites. I recently had James from Hall Bros. do a termite treatment on our new home. I received 4 quotes, 3 from the big guys and the fourth from James. He was the most competitive and offered all of the same services plus used a better product so it was a no brained to choose them. Working with him was a pleasure.
