The PEST Group

The PEST group was hired as a subcontractor for Terminix to tent and fumigate our house. From the moment the crew showed up, it was clear that they were looking for an excuse to go home without doing the work. They claimed they couldn’t tent our house because there were a few tree branches touching the side of the house. The crew manager was not at all solution-oriented, and the only reason they eventually got the job done is that one junior member of the team had enough integrity to advocate for me.

Team arrived on time. Very Professional & went above and beyond taking care of assets both inside and outside the property. The clean up was very impressive.

Would never ever recommend these guys again everything was great in the beginning over a year and half but then the guy who was always coming out was no longer with the company and everything stopped I seriously wondered if the company was legit anymore or shut down after that no responses to my multiple emails for 3 months and calls and even text messages with the “new rep” for San Diego apparently they have only one guy and he’s incompetent he literally answers the phone with a mono toned “hello” not hi pest group or anything super shady and weird vibe I got from him. Super unprofessional to just take my automated payments and not provide services I had black/brown widows all over my home and no response from anyone for months! I had to remove my debit card from the file myself and still no one has reached back out to me. I’m willing to pay more money with Lloyds pest control and/or Orkin coming out this week then to ever work with the Pest Group and I’ll let everyone know

Our only problem was the instructions on wrapping the bags. Afterwards I them in the bottom of box of bags. Therefore, we had to do everything twice! It was very time-consuming other than that everything went well.

We waited for call that last day to see if it was OK to return. Only after we came home by 12 noon that we saw the tent down and a note that it's OK to enter. They where nice and did their job but a call would've been helpful. Maybe Terminex was supposed to call. Oh well.

Initial contact for free termite inspection with customer service was a breeze. Actual inspection done by Brian Moore was awesome. Brian Moore made the whole process painless. He answered all my questions on a timely manner. The crew that did the fumigation led by Joe ( I didn’t get his last name) was also a pleasant experience. From start to finish, the process was just amazing.

I've waited almost a month to review this place. So far, We have not seen anymore Black Widows nor bitten by any insects. I sent an inquiry the day before and got a call back on the next business day. Joe F was the one who serviced our house and did a good job overall. He was very detailed, informative and answered all my questions and concerns before he start the process. Few hours later, we came back to an odorless house and no spider webs. The treatment they did was safe for children and pets. Will touch base in a few months.
