It was my annual inspection and spot treatments, and the technician was most diligent and conscientious in going over the entire two unit building.

BUYER BEWARE: I am quite disappointed. I signed an agreement through Halo Home Services via Joey on Sept 9, 2025 for pest control services. Joey arrived on time and explained everything clearly. I paid the Initial/One-Time fee via check to their home office as they wanted a service fee if I used my credit card. I had one bi-monthly pest control agreement which I signed an service agreement. On Oct 30, 2025 I got an email from Halo, Here it is that they will not be doing my pest control services and will be discontinuing - Here's the words from the email. I asked them how they could get out of a year signed pest control contract. This is what was emailed back to me from Halo Home Services. "Yes initially it was for a year. Again please keep in mind this is only for the pest control services, this is NOT for the termite services. In California we are required to notify you in writing, which we are doing. It was not an easy decision or taken lightly and we wish this was not the case. We are losing a lot of long time customers but it is just no longer affordable for us to continue on in your area. We are offering to give customers one more service at the regular rate, which is a 30 day notice if customers opt to take it. Thank you for your understanding and let us know if you wish to have one more pest control service with us or if you would like us to close out the pest control services for you now." Now I am not only out the initial start up service but my bi-monthly as well after mid November 2025. Not happy as every Pest Control that I have reached out to of course wants to charge me another initial fee and I thought I had a yearly contract which I signed September 2025. I think Halo should give me back my initial / one time fee. Especially since I signed up in September 2025 and got this email from them Oct 30, 2025. I have a Termite agreement with them which I believe they have not canceled early. Who knows if they may cancel this as well. Also, I only received an email. No letter in writing to my home. No, sir. Not a fake review. I called your offices to request a copy of a notice of completion and your gal first tried to tell me they would have to re-inspect the property in order to send me a copy of the notice of completion. All I wanted was copy of the one already on file. She told me she would have to pull it off the computer and would have it emailed to me within the hour. I never received it, and my follow up was ignored. This is why I rated you 1-star. I think her name was Mary Ann possibly? Instead of trying to call me out as "fake from a competitor", you as owner should have tried to offer what you could do to make it right. Now you've edited your response from claiming I was a competitor with a fake review to you don't have my name in your database. You have my CLIENTS name in your database, not mine. Nice try at damage control. You out to be ashamed.

Honest, thorough, kind, and effective. HALO Home Services is wonderful. They handled all my termite problems. I am very happy with the child/pet friendly solutions provided. Scheduling was easy and the technician was knowledgeable and efficient. Highly recommend!

I would not recommend this company for gopher extraction. They have had staffing issues in San Diego and had to schedule a technician from Los Angeles to service my home. HALO could not trap the gopher and gas did not work either. Because they didn't have any local techs to promptly service my gopher problem, the 30 contact expired without a resolution. Their customer service was also slow to respond. They made little effort to work with me to find a satisfactory solution. They got my money and never got the gopher. In the end, I purchased the DK-2 Gopher Getter Gopher Trap and successfully killed the gopher on the first day of deployment. Do it yourself and don't bother with HALO Home Services for gopher extraction.

If these guys do business, like they drive immature, no etiquette, no respect , inpatient. I wouldn't trust them to do anything right with integrity.

We needed a termite/pest report for our VA refinancing. We called HALO and they able to do it the following day. The inspector was friendly, professional and customer focused. We got our report the same afternoon and was able to forwarded it to our lender, the same day, as well. We highly recommend HALO Home Services!

Driver swerved for miles and miles on N. 5 from Oceanside all the way up toward Capistrano area. I'm not sure if he was on his phone or drunk tbh. We kept him behind us as he was half way in and out of his lane taking over the lane next to him and in the slow lane half way off the shoulder. Hes luck he didn't cause an accident. I'm hoping someone behind him got his plates and reported it. As for service, I will never use this company 🤷‍♀️ for obvious reasons.

Larry Krone: Unresponsive, not reliable. Was supposed here at 1 no show,no call. I called they said 3. No show/no call again.

I was happy with the gentleman that came out and did the initial inspection. I had an appointment set for the service to be completed between 8 and 10am. A few days before I got an alert the appointment was changed to the afternoon. I rearranged schedule to be available at the new time. They were almost two hours late. They completed the treatment however as they were leaving I noticed naked spots on my deck they had not done and had to stop them before they left. They did the spots I pointed out and also did a wash of the deck with salt water. A few days later I noticed they missed the parts marked on the inside of my shed. I called and again made an appointment for between 8 and 10. By the time 10 past I called and was informed the appointment was set for the afternoon. They had not notified me if any change. So frustrating to have the appointments keep changing and for having them come back out to do parts they missed.

Randy inspected our house, and JT did the treatment; they both conducted themselves in a very professional way, attentively listened and responded to our questions. Overall I greatly recommend Halo Home Services for your termite and other pests problems. Thank you Randy and JT!

This company is God sent to our home! Jeff, Ricardo and Emily made this process easier than expected. We had a lil bump in the proccess but was fixed and the delay was less then expected. Not their falt at all . Our gas company came out to shut the gas off and their equipment was so worn out that they were surprised we did not have a gas leak! Everything they said was done, even though SDGE insisted I call to make sure that Halo had scheduled to have our gas turned back on. I highly recommend Halo for termite inspection, treatment ect... Jeff, we will be calling you for insect treatments outside the home as well. Thank you all.

Everybody has to deal with termites, so many companies we contacted offered exactly the dismal service we expected, with the chronic upsell and sign here! sales pitch. We were quite pleasantly surprised with HALO. On a brutally hot day, the OWNER, Jeff Ray, spent a half an hour really inspecting the attic/crawl space and concluded we DIDN'T need to spend the several thousand we had planned on, based on the recommendations from competitors. We agreed on a spot treatment for the house and tenting for an outbuilding. The scheduling goddess, Emily, was so agreeable and flexible and the technician who did the spot treatment, Ricardo Duran, was punctual, courteous, thorough and efficient. I really appreciated the ownership each took in their part of the business. Recommending a company for a service you have to have is generally pretty tough, but not this time. Great company from top to bottom.
