I highly recommend the service. Sara, who manages the office and does intake, was friendly, helpful and provided a clear and thorough explanation of how their service work and what is entailed. The person who did our visual inspection, Laurence Arjoon, did the same. Based on visual evidence--and the fact that there weren't any of the usual telltale signs and stains left by bedbugs, he concluded that the bites I'd experienced were more likely from a different source--mites. I never felt presurred to take on the service, though they could treat for mites if desired. That's why i recommend them. They seem honest, experienced, professional, polite and fair.

We hired HeatRx for a heat treatment in late September. After the treatment, we discovered significant damage throughout our home: dings on a door, scratches and marks on our hardwood floors (upstairs, downstairs, and on the stairs), burn marks on one rug, and snags on another. We reported the damage with photos on October 3rd and were told management would review. We then spent weeks going back and forth trying to schedule a follow-up visit where their technician was supposed to "review the damage and take additional photos for the damage claim." Two months later, on December 5th, we finally received a response from management denying any responsibility. Their reasoning: They claimed some damage was "noted prior to treatment" but never documented this or mentioned it to us at the time of service. They said the floor marks don't match their machines because the machines are "on wheels and elevated." But damage can occur when heavy equipment is carried through a home, not just from the machines sitting in place. They pointed out that one room (our loft) "didn't have any machines in it" as if that clears them. But their team had to walk through that area repeatedly with equipment to reach the other upstairs rooms. They asked for Ring camera footage, but had they made this request back in October when we first reported the damage, we could have provided it. Asking for footage two months later, knowing most home cameras don't store that long, feels like a convenient way to shift blame. We sent a detailed response addressing each of these points and offering to provide repair quotes. We heard nothing back.

Daniel,

Thank you for your continued correspondence. We appreciate the time you have taken to outline your concerns and would like to provide clarity regarding our review and determination.
Following receipt of your claim and supporting photos on October 3rd, our team made multiple attempts to contact you via both email and phone to discuss the concerns and gather additional information. As part of our good-faith effort to address the matter, we successfully scheduled and completed a follow-up visit on October 23rd, during which our technician reviewed the areas identified and took additional photographs.
After a thorough review of the site visit findings, photographs, service records, and internal documentation, we determined that there were no viable or documentable damage concerns that could be attributed to HeatRx’s services or equipment. This determination was based on the condition observed during the inspection, the nature of the marks noted, and the scope of work performed. The allegations of your claim were not supported by the pictures especially when you alleged damage in a room that we didn't even have equipment in.
As referenced previously, in our numerous correspondences, HeatRx maintains a detailed preparation and service guide that outlines client responsibilities, equipment handling procedures, and the damage-claim review process. Throughout this process, we made multiple attempts to communicate and resolve the matter directly with you in accordance with those guidelines.
At this stage, given the completed inspection, our documented findings, and the public escalation of the matter, we are confirming our position as stated in our prior correspondence: HeatRx will not be moving forward with any additional investigation or reimbursement related to this claim.
We understand that this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, but we believe our review was conducted thoroughly, professionally, and in good faith. This email serves as our final response on this matter.
We appreciate your understanding and wish you the best moving forward.

Just want to give a big thank you to Laurence and Nick for coming out and helping us with our BB problem. I was so stressed out but they reassured me of the process and that it will get taken care of. Laurence was on time and ready to go. When I ran through the details of our problem he was understanding of my worrying. After he was done with the heat treatment he let me know what are the next steps and if anything come up to give him a call. Me and my husband appreciate you both for helping us out an how much you value your work. I would really recommended you to family and friends
