After finding rats the attic of my new home I contacted this company who charged me $5000 for new insulation and rat-proofing my house top to bottom. They also included a one year warranty should the rats return. A few weeks later, the rats returned. They came back as they promised and found some spots they’d missed. This kept happening. Now they’re not picking up whenever I call, and I’m out $5,000 with the same rat problem as before. I held off on writing this review until they started ignoring me and dodging my calls. I’ve always been nice and I will continue to be, but ignoring me and hoping I go away is bad business. I hired them for something they are seemingly unable to do, and now I need to pay someone else to do it.

This company is awesome. The workers were professional and did a complete and fabulous job I’m very happy with their work.

I hired Ecorattic to clean and rodent-proof an attic and crawl space at a client's home. I was very impressed with all phases of their service, from the estimators, to the scheduling personnel, to the crew which did the work. It was a difficult job and the crew worked diligently and professionally. They prepped the house thoroughly and did an excellent job. They may not necessarily be the cheapest option but quality matters, especially for this kind of service.

Ecorattic took care of a really nasty rodent issue, sealing up, cleaning up, sanitizing, and installing all new insulation. That part was FANTASTIC! Air duct replacement was not great but it seems to work OK.

They are amazing! In one day they cleaned the attic, replaced all the ducting, took everything out of the garage, got rid of dirty stuff, cleaned everything, and put it back. They covered all entry points that rats and mice might use. They came out for a follow-up visit to be sure the rats hadn't come back I was extremely impressed.

Ecorattic has an excellent team and is very reliable. My household was built in the 50's and had its original insulation and they gave us an inspection within a few days of calling. David from Ecorattic had come over and gave us a thorough explanation of everything that they would do afterwards and gave us fair pricing and answered all of our questions and follow-up calls. The insulation replacement was done promptly within a week by Mainor and his team, and they all did an excellent job. Aside from cleaning the original insulation and installing new ones, they replaced all the air grates and even went around the perimeter of the house to replace any damaged grates that were not part of the attic. Additionally, they had sealed any holes to prevent any rats from being able to come in. A follow up had been done two weeks after by Leo, who had also done the insulation installation for our neighbors and they say he did a fantastic job. When he had come by to check any rat traps, he had given us some more tips and clarification for what should be done to help prevent any rodents from coming in and also for helping to keep the attic and house cooler. Would definitely recommend Ecorattic to anyone looking to get their insulation replaced as they are fantastic and have amazing customer service throughout the entire process!

Excellent service - our house was built in 1941 and had the original attic insulation. We were also having vermin getting in the walls and dying, which would cause horrible odors followed by hoards of flies for days. They came and in two days cleaned, sealed and replaced all the attic and crawl space insulation. The house now is much more temperate and we’ve had no vermin issues since!!!

Good, quick work, fair price

We could hear a rat in our attic, so we hired Ecorattic to take care of it. They came, sealed up every possible entry point around the exterior of the house, placed traps, and returned later to remove the rat after it was caught. And the lifetime guarantee for their rodent-proofing services is a great benefit too!

Good job well done. They did what they said they would do in the promised timeframe. They cleaned up well at the end of the job. No problems.

I noticed a foul smell coming from my vents so i contacted Ecorattic to schedule an estimate for a technician to come out. Jerry came out the next day (fastest turnaround time I’ve seen) and did a full inspection of my home and found rat droppings all over my insulation, the whole thing was contaminated. He recommended we do a full attic cleaning while replacing the insulation as well so we did! They cleaned and sealed up all the entry points and then finally added the new R-38 roll insulation. Right away I could tell there was a huge difference in the smell, air flow and cleanliness of the insulation! It’s been over 4 months and no sign of any droppings and the insulation is running as smoothly as possible! Great job to Jerry and his team for doing an excellent job, highly recommend!

We called Ecorattic and inquired to have an estimate done on our attic, we wanted to replace our old insulation as well as do a full attic cleaning. Jerry came out the next day and did a full inspection of the entire attic and house. Two days later Jerry’s team came out removed all the contaminated insulation, sanitized and cleaned the attic and then put in brand new R-38 insulation and did a very clean way of doing it! Let me tell you, the difference between the old and new insulation is something I’ve never seen before! Jerry and his team were very very diligent with their service and professional at the same time! The air in the house is way cleaner as a result and I am more than happy with the work done! We contacted Ecorattic for an inspection of our house, specifically our attic because our house was getting hotter than usual over the summer and our energy bills were sky rocketing! Jerry came out and recommended to install new insulation so we did! They cleaned out our entire attic as well as installed a radiant barrier and an attic fan which helped with air flow and lowered our energy bills as well! They did a fantastic job in which I am very pleased and will recommend to my friends and family!

I started hearing noises in my attic a few weeks ago and I didn’t suspect anything about it. I called Ecorattic for them to inspect my attic (which was the next day) and they found lots of droppings and contaminated insulation! They cleaned up my whole attic, took out all of the rat droppings, replaced my insulation, sanitized and patched up all the whole the rats were getting in from! Not only was Jerry very nice but his team that did the work were of the same nature! I am very pleased with the new insulation and satisfied with the work and results Ecorattic has done with my house! Thank you!

It’s been about 3 months since I had the work done at my house by Jerry and his team! And let me tell you, they were not only outstanding but had the best customer service care I have seen! Our old insulation and rat droppings everywhere which they took out, vacuumed, sanitized and then put in new R-38 Batt insulation! We even got a insulation rebate from LADWP in which Jerry was so kind to help me through all the steps! I highly recommend Jerry and his team for any kind of service you need because they will not disappoint! Could not be more happy with the service I have received!

Ecorattic did a fantastic job at my house today! I highly recommend using them for attic insulation and air duct replacement! Jerry recommended us to take out all the old torn up insulation, replace it with new insulation with an attic fan and install new air ducts as well! It has been almost a month since the job was done and I cannot be more satisfied and happy with the work they have done! The team that came out to install everything was very nice and attentive to all my needs! I highly recommend using Ecorattic. Used this guys for attic insulation at my parents house. My parents home used to get extremely hot every summer. Jerry recommended us to clean all the old attic insulation, air seal all the attic space and installed special recessed lights covers to prevent air losses. They installed radiant barrier, attic fan and a new state of the art whole hose fan called QuietCool. It’s been almost 2 month since the job was done and let me tell you, the house finally feels good and my parents electrical bill went down. If you need to increase your home energy efficiency I wouldn’t hesitate to call them and evaluate your home. They deserve 5 stars review all over! Service is not complete yet however they have been true to their word. Not always common in a contractor. We hired Ecorattic, Jay is our rep, to remove our ancient dirty insulation and close up our rodent entry points. Their team showed up to do the job in the pouring rain. They cleaned up pretty well too. No rats found so far and now we're awaiting final inspection and the installation of our new insulation. Overall the process has been good. If this review needs updates after the agreement is complete I will. Otherwise this has been a good experience overall.

I have been searching for a rodent Company Had 2 estimates already when I came across Ecorattic called and Jerry came by the next day for a free estimate told me that I had a rat infestation in my attic and my insulation needed to be replace, gave me a great deal sign up with the Co. right away the crew came on Friday they did a great job on cleaning everything, sealed every entry, and disposed all the trash. Ericka the assistant is such a pleasure to talk to, very friendly, still had a rat in my house Ericka send a crew the following Friday Mynor and his co worker did such a great great job that as of right now I do not have any rodents in my house I do not write reviews but this Company is excellent and price was very fair, I would recommend it to any one Thank you Ericka and Jerry Maritza Vance

Our attic was overdue for insulation and HVAC ducts. Ecorattic are well prepared to tackle the processes of cleaning the old/disposing of and installing the new. Professional, insuring the house is sealed from loose dust (and there is a lot), respectful staff and even helped with DWP rebate forms/information. Highly recommend.

Jerry from ecorattic came to our house before the New Years, gave us a very fair estimate, weve been comparing it to our previous estimates and found jerry is giving us more bang for the $. Jerry and his crew at Ecorattic were great. Provided a very professional, clean great service. Haven't had a rat in the attic since the work was done and new insulation has helped with lowering our DWP bills. Would highly recommend them!
