We recently had a problem with a very large bee hive in Austin. The colony had infiltrated a stone wall and we called Texas Bee Services for urgent help. Matt understood the urgency and came out within 24 hours to do a full investigation with advanced thermal imaging technology. He identified the point of entry and created a humane action plan to relocate the bees. We are now bee-free and so thankful to Matt for his responsiveness, professionalism, expert knowledge of the habits and removal of bees, and a successful resolution/removal of a hive that contained 30,000 to 50,000 bees!

I needed to remove a large tree(which was unhealthy and hazardous by a house) and there was a large colony of bees that needed to be dealt with before we could cut the tree down. My first time working with Matt and I will always call him when I have any other bee things to deal with. We agreed to try and save the colony, but he noticed they were Africanized bees and not the ones we favor around here. He was professional and handled the situation as needed. Matt was great with communicating with me and the tenant of the house through the process and it was very nice working with him. Thanks Matt

Matt is amazing!!! I called him about a bee hive in our upstairs balcony. He came out promptly. We devised a plan to remove a piece of hardy plank from below the balcony to access the hive. Matt is very understanding, he’s easy to work with , incredibly knowledgable and extremely professional. He explained each part of the hive as he removed it and explained the different job functions of the males, females, drones , Queen etc!! I felt like I was on a field trip, I had a great experience. I learned so much about bees and their importance to us and our environment. I got a bonus as he separated out the honey combs and we were able to enjoy amazing, delicious fresh honey from our own balcony. The bee hive removal was successful as Matt took the hive and many of the bees to rehabilitate them back at his property. Matt and his company were fantastic! Highly recommended. I could not find another company that could handle both bee removal and some home repairs. I can't recommend Texas Bee Service and Matt enough. We recently moved into a home rental which happened to have an established bee colony in a tree at the end of the driveway. With my wife being deathly allergic to bees and our direct neighbor being hesitant about hosting neighborhood/community gatherings in her yard because of the old, very irritated colony, we knew the colony needed to go. I sent Matt a text in the AM and he was at our house by noon the same day. He literally rearranged his work schedule to prioritize us due to the health/safety issue. Matt immediately went to work and also educated our surrounding neighbors about the colony, the behavior of the bees and why they needed to be relocated. He is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable. The job was done thoroughly and swiftly. Bottom line - if you have any bee situation, don't hesitate to give him a call, you won't regret it.

Matt was great through the process, beginning to end. We had what ended up being a very large honey bee colony located in our son’s playscape. He was very understanding of the location of the bees and came out the same day that we called as he had availability. He set realistic expectations for the work that needed to be done, the parts of the playscape that needed to be removed for the job, and the timeline of when it would be completed. Matt met every single expectation he set and went above and beyond by checking in at regular intervals to ensure the bees were gone and staying away after the initial removal was completed.
