I had lots of trees cut and trim today and these guys are the ultimate they left. My yard clean did not break anything and they were wonderful to deal with!

I hired this company back in 2023. At that time they did a great job on our property, Removing a tree and pruning others without incident. This is why I thought I could call them this year and rely on the same quality service. This, however, was not the case. Initially, I made a call requesting an estimate for services. It took several days before I received a call back. When I did receive a call back, I was given a time and day for an estimate, however, that time and day came and went, and nobody showed up. Nobody called to cancel, or to apologize. We waited several more days and reached out again. This time we were promised another day and time, however, the day and time came and went, and nobody showed up to our property. No one called or texted to apologize or explain why they didn’t show up.We reached out a third time to the owner, Dave. He was not apologetic in the least, and did not seem to care that he had left us high and dry on two occasions. We informed him that this was not the type of company we wanted to do business with. I’m not sure what happened to this company or to its owner since we last used them, but at this time I would not recommend using this company at all. We will be praying for Dave the owner.

My husband saw Dave and his crew working out in Port Jeff and we were pricing tree removal and clean up of tons and years of unkept bramble & a huge pine in our front yard. Dave and his crew took 4.5 hours and cleaned it ALL up & they are so reasonably priced . we have so much more work to do and we already know we’ll be using Sunburst, there is just no other option better!

I have used a few other tree services but decided to give these guys a try because I own a buisness located right by them. Dave quickly became not only my favorite tree guy, but also a friend. Beyond down to earth, honest, cool, good people all around at Sunburst. Could not recommend them enough!!

Dave, and the team were awesome! On time, knowledgeable and most of all Safe! Angel the tree climber was incredible to watch . They cleaned everything up at the end and used a blower to clean up my lawn and Lanscaping beds..

They Never showed up, or called.

Great group of people. When. they came for an estimate they even checked the trees that were not in my original plan and found one that was hollowed out in the middle, I had no idea. The crew that did the work were great, worked safe and left the property as clean as can be. Highly reecommended

The tree service I received was the worse I have ever experienced. David Jenkins was not understanding our needs in trimming the trees we needed done. It was unfortunate that he arrived for an estimate the day before the major storm that happened but his service 1 month later was incomplete after my wife speaking with him the day of service about how much of the damaged branches of the trees to be trimmed & pruned we already cleared but a little more was needed to be finished which would make it easier for his crew to do. But instead his crew left several dangling damaged branches, tore up parts of my lawn from his bucket truck & ladders left several short cut branches on the lawn and bend a new fence railing recently installed, which his crew knew they damaged but I had to point it out to David but ignored my messages I left with no returned calls. Until his assistant Jeanine ( who is the only employee that was professional). Without Jeanine’s follow up I wouldn’t have been re-imbursed for the replacement rail. They were so busy that they wouldn’t come back to remove another tree that as per David would cost less than the re-imbursement of fence rail which I said I would agree for the re-imbursement of the fence rail. Totally unprofessional.

I have never submitted a review for any company. Sunburst Tree Experts are truly EXPERTS in all phases of tree issues. I must sing the praises of Sunburst Tree Experts. I had a tree fall on my house and car and within an hour of my call Chris and the team came to my rescue. They did an amazing job and I would recommend them to anyone who needs tree work.

After tropical storm Isaias, these guys came to me very quickly as I had a tree on top of my car and house. they squeezed me in when no one else would even call me back. I know this hit the island hard, but being 6 months pregnant I appreciated the promptness of this company!! 10\5 stars for me.

Excellent service, fair prices, safe and fast crews

Dave and the crew were extremely professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Had a few estimates from other tree companies that were coming in at slightly lower cost but ended up with Sunburst for peace of mind since they are completely NYS licensed and insured against any damage.
