We have used Emerald's services for approximately 10 years. Emerald's arborist's assessment and plan for what was at first our ailing landscaping and trees has been very effective over the past years, we would not dream of even skipping a year. We had funguses, blight and other common plant ailments that made our landscaping look so terrible we considered tearing it all out and starting over. Emerald came to the rescue and over the course of the first season got everything looking healthy. We now use Emerald for routine fungus and other similar blight treatments, routine and specialized targeted tree feeding, the specialized Beech treatment, Lanternflies, the mosquito/tick/flea treatment and recently for tree pruning and removal. The Lanternflies are now not a problem on our property. Once, they did a complicated graft/repair for an old large Japanese Maple when a nearby tree partially fell on it. Their arborists are very knowledgeable and professional. The guys who administer the treatments are always professional, friendly and respectful of the property. They have to open gates and drag their hoses long distances for the applications and are always very careful that the hoses do not damage any plantings or lights. They always close the gates and return everything just as they found it. The Emerald office staff is also top notch. We highly recommend them and they are well worth it for a property with ordinary landscaping as well as those with specimen plantings. - Patti Evans Isaacs

Emerald Tree and Shrub gave us the best price among three other tree care firms for the removal of a medium-size dead birch tree. They cut the tree down carefully, stacked the logs, shredded the small branches, and cleaned up the area. We were fully satisfied with their work.
