Highly disappointing experience: we had used WR to seal up some squirrel holes when we lived downtown, but when we called them to help with signs of rats now that we live in the country, their only suggestion was to poison within our home once and then pay a monthly subscription for outdoor poisoning. I could place poison within my house myself, and certainly don't want to poison the wildlife in the literal field that we live in, and definitely not for $150/month. For the $200 service call, I was hoping for more advice on where to seal the rodents' entryways. Two stars because in the city they were useful, just not out in the sticks (unless it's a question of squirrels v. rats, but that wasn't clear).

Thank you for your feedback and for working with us previously, we truly appreciate it.
We’re sorry to hear that this recent experience did not meet your expectations. It sounds like we may not have done the best job clearly explaining our recommendations, and we understand how that could be frustrating.
When it comes to rats, especially in rural settings, exclusion alone is often not effective. Unlike squirrels, rats are persistent burrowers and will continue to find new ways in if a population is already established. In these situations, some form of population control is typically necessary first, otherwise we risk wasting both time and money on repairs that won’t hold.

That said, rodenticide is not the only option. We do offer trapping programs as an alternative, and we’re always happy to tailor a solution based on your preferences and concerns, including minimizing risk to surrounding wildlife.

In many countryside homes, we also see more extensive structural vulnerabilities, which is why ongoing service is sometimes recommended to maintain control while longer term repairs or exclusion work are completed.

We truly value your feedback, as it helps us improve how we communicate our approach. If you’re open to it, we would welcome the opportunity to have a more in depth conversation and find a solution that better aligns with your goals.

Thank you again for your past support and for taking the time to share your experience.

John Hatfield
Wildlife Resolutions Inc.

Wildlife Resolutions is a fantastic team of people working together providing excellent services in a proactive and timely manner. They are creative problem-solvers, and work well to understand the clients needs on a variety of Wildlife situations for the homeowner. Best experience with these folks. Highly recommend.

This is the second time I have had Wildlife Resolutions and will always call them when I have a problem. This time I had an ant infestation. I tried everything that was recommended but got nowhere. I called Wildlife Resolutions and by the next day most ants were gone. After two days, I no longer see any signs of ants. They are phenomenal!

Wildlife Resolutions removed a muskrat that was stuck in my chain link fence. They were there quickly and removed it without incident.

We had a consistent professional efficient experience with Wildlife Resolutions. There was an unexpected bedbug infestation at a family member’s home. We never had experience with bedbugs prior. All research said they were hard to eradicate completely. We first treated with a highly marketed firm that guaranteed results. Turned out to be an expensive lie. We despaired until turning to Wildlife Resolutions. We only knew them as a reliable commercial pest control. But they extended their services to residential. Well worth the investment in an organized plan of eradication, spread over several weeks. Executed per agreement; desired outcome delivered. No bugs! Excellent organization.

The best! Called them about a non-emergent, but nevertheless annoying issue. They were there in a day or so, sent quote, we approved and they came soon after that. Very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient.

I called wildlife resolutions after another company said that the starting price for bat remediation was $1000. I made the $160 appointment for them to come look after asking for a ballpark, they said it was $300-$1000 usually but could be a little more. I thought this was a very reasonable price and would be happy to pay even a little more for them to fix the problem. Jason came out to see me and was very nice, however, when I got the quote it was $5600, and I can’t afford it. So I just lost $160, which sucks, because I still have bats.

Good morning, I just called to say I am concerned about rat invasion under the mudroom at the back of the house of our home at 617 North Cayuga Street. There were two other holes dug recently that I covered with dirt and rocks, and now there is a third under the mudroom next to the back staircase to the parking area. lease check it! Also, I would like to check on my contract to renew it for the next year. Please be in contact with me at renewal time to ensure we have coverage . Thank you, Marilynne Sommers/Susan Yeres
Provider response
Good morning Marilynne/Susan. Thank you for reaching out. Our office will contact you shortly. Additionally, we will have a technician stop by to check everything out and take action. Appreciate the communication.

Have not had rodent issues since WR started putting rodent baits around our house about a year ago. Seems a bit pricey but how much would I pay to not have mice? Worth the peace of mind.
Provider response
Thank you Hanna. We are glad you continue to remain rodent free. The perimeter bait stations compliments the exclusionary work done on your house. Those two combined offer a complete & comprehensive plan that resolves rodent conflicts.

The problem we had at our rental property appears to have been solved but communication was extremely poor throughout the experience. Neither the tenants, nor we knew when workmen were arriving or whether they had come at all. Questions the tenants had were not answered at all. They say that no one explained the trap system to them and then billed us (the landlords) for a year when the tenants had clearly only signed up for a three month followup. The tenants say they would never use Wildlife Resolutions again—although the problem appears to be solved, they think we were charged for three months of service they didn't need. I should note that we had a persistent problem completely solved by this company and would use them again although based on this experience, I'd be checking the billing very carefully. We were double charged on two occasions. While they explained that it was a computer glitch, I'd still be checking more closely this time.

I called WR when I discovered squirrels had chewed through the latex windowsill and were moving into the attic crawl space. They came many times, trapped squirrels, and put a 5” metal plate over the hole in the windowsill, and fixed a soffit they had damaged. But naturally, within a couple of days they had chewed through the windowsill again a few inches over. Result: A $600 WR solution didn’t work. A $10 can of structural foam was all I needed.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We regret to learn that you were dissatisfied with the service we provided in December of '23. After nearly 15 months without communication, we assumed that everything was satisfactory. Had we received a call, text, or email from you, we would have promptly dispatched a specialist to assist you. Unfortunately, in the absence of communication, we assume that all is well. If you are still experiencing any issues and would like our assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Thank you

Came in for a crawl space issue. Removed some insulation that had been infested and neutralized odor/ sprayed citrus solution. Had to come back 2 days later to repeat spraying. Came back a 3rd time for more insulation removal and spraying routine but not without another charge. 🙁 Matt & T.J. are great to work with.

Wildlife Resolutions has been here and set up the bat removal systems. But it is too soon to report yet as to whether the bat removal has been successful.

The tech showed up early in an effort to work around our busy schedule that day. He was very nice, professional, and made sure to share with us any points of interest he came across.

They are pretty good at what they do. They're on time and they do a pretty effecient job. We had an unforseen consequence of squirrels eating through a metal mesh guard they installed and they came back, got the squirrels out again and replaced the guard with a stronger one as soon as I called, and at no extra charge. Very good customer service.
