Steve couldn’t have been more responsive. He was here minutes after we got off the phone. He took care of the hornet nest and put bait boxes for a potential rodent issue. His years of experience are evident and he super friendly and customer service focused.

Steve was wonderful. I called him 9:00 in the morning on a Saturday and he was there early that afternoon. The yellow jackets started coming into the house as the weather was getting cooler for several weeks. After his application on Sunday morning we only found two that could barely fly. We have not seen anything since and I am writing this review 4 days after he left to make sure they were gone. Thank you Steve for your amazing service.

Steve personally came to investigate and rectify a Yellowjacket issue we were experiencing at our office. We previously used another large company prior to Steve who couldn’t get the job done, made endless excuses and were not responsive. Timing is everything, I called Steve about a bee hive in my house about noon on a Saturday and he was just leaving a job and said he would be by my house in about a half hour. He was there on time and took care of my problem quickly and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them.

My husband and I came home and were horrified to see hundreds of dead yellow jackets in our master bedroom... we called Long Island Exterminating on a Sunday evening after calling numerous other companies with no response. Steve Schenker, the owner, answered his cell. Steve dropped what he was doing and within an hour showed up at our house. he found a 12 pound nest embedded in the wall of our clothing closet . Steve opened up the wall wearing protective gear and removed the horrible and huge nest and covered the opening. We will bring in someone to Sheetrock . Without Steve's prompt response we would have an unspeakable situation. Thank you Steve And LI Exterminating. Please call this company for any exterminating problem. Steve is the best.

I was having an issue with ants, and it was getting worse. I called the company on a Sunday and the owner Steve answered the phone. He was able to come to my house Monday morning. Steve was there exactly the time he said he would be. He answered all my questions and concerns. As of today I have not seen any ants. I could not be any happier. I am happy to have found this company. Steve was knowledgeable and professional, and I felt I was in good hands. I would highly recommend this company with any pest problem. They have been around a long time and there is a good reason for that!

Quick, honest, reliable, thorough, efficient, non-alarmist. Steve has come to our house and calmed us down and has never taken advantage of our lack of insect knowledge even though he could have. It’s great to have a company so nearby that you can have faith in. Highly recommend.

This is the second time that I have used this service and I am very impressed with the level of service rented by this vendor. His prices were below many of his competitors and he has not disappointed me. All pests have disappeared and I have not had to call him back as I have had to do with other exterminators I have used.

I haven't hired this company yet, but even if I don't, I want to share how great Steve has been (when he came to give me a quote and also on a subsequent phone call). I contacted him specifically about spider crickets, mice, and termite control. He's friendly, easy to reach, and knowledgeable, and his prices seem very fair to me. Thanks Steve!

I can not say enough good things about this company ! From their prompt response and same day visit to their attention to detail and follow up. We had seen signs and then caught a rat . It was disgusting and we were horrified. We thought that was it and then within a few days there was this horrific unbearable smell . There was a dead rat somewhere in the walls . I started calling exterminators and must have called at least 10+ on long island . I needed someone to come find it and then locate where they were getting in and prevent more. Every company said they could help get rid of them but they all said they don't help locate the dead one and that is nearly impossible to find them. They all said the smell would disapate within a month or so. A month! Then I called long island extermination company . They said they can absolutely help with that and have a tool that helps them. I had asked all the other companies about this tool as I had researched and none of them had one . Chris came to our house that same day and did a thorough search and used his camera to see in the walls. He found it within minutes . He set up poison traps outside( kid and dog friendly) , surveyed the whole property to determine how they were getting in and sprayed and used deodorizer. We thought that was it bc the smell was getting better then it started getting worse again . I called Chris and he was there again the same day . He tracked where it was coming from and found it. This morning was the first that I came downstairs and it no longer smells. I can't thank him enough. Hopefully this is the end of this nightmare but I know if something happens I can always call and they will be on top of it . Very friendly very professional! Highly recommend!

I had a Yellowjacket nest in the eave of my porch right in my entryway to my house. I called Long Island Exterminating and told them my problem. Steve called me back within the hour. To my surprise he was able to come to my house within 20 mins to help. His price was super affordable and he treated the nest right there. In 24 hours the Yellowjackets were 100% gone. Steve was very professional, friendly and courteous. I couldn’t be more pleased. I will be calling Long Island Exterminating for all my pest control needs in the future.

I can’t say enough good things about LI Exterminating. I called Steve in a Saturday night with an infestation of yellow jackets and he was there the next day- on time- and did his thing and we were wasp free and back to our routine. Look no further- this guy knows his stuff and is fairly priced.

I had great experience with this company. Last night we found a yellow jacket nest in the wall. I called them at 9 pm they came at 10 pm. Removed the whole nest, wasps and cleaned up. Chris was amazing and very professional! He was very careful with the furniture and really cared about getting the job done!

We were experiencing bees surrounding our house in soffit's front and back in different locations- there was an obvious bee's nest in the tree on the side of house- Chris came and spent about 2 hours using 2 treatments hitting all area's to immediately eradicate this bee issue- its been 6 days and NO sign of bee's any where. Thank you Chris for doing such a great job- I would highly recommend Chris and LI Exterminator's.

I had a severe infestation of Spotted Lantern Flies across my entire property. I contacted Long Island Exterminating, and their representative, Chris, promptly returned my call. Chris demonstrated extensive knowledge and meticulous attention to detail. He arrived at my house the same day and thoroughly sprayed the entire property. The next day, the Spotted Lantern Flies were completely gone. I would highly recommend this company's services.

This is by far the worst exterminating company. Got a few treatments last year for the black sugar ants. Matt put gel bait in every crevice and corner of my kitchen (I still have marks on my brand new cabinets and countertops from the gel that stained). So not only did it not work, but it attracted the ants times a hundred. Bait is supposed to attract them then kill off the colony but this stuff was just feeding it. I called him to come back to take a look at why the ants weren’t subsiding weeks later because I was about to have a party the next day which is so embarrassing and Matt said he’d come by but of course never showed. I asked for a refund for the guaranteed treatment not working within the timeframe and he refused, then just disappeared. The worst part is, a year later and every summer I walk into the kitchen with an explosion of ants all inside my cabinets even after I wiped the gel away. It’s disgusting. Stay far away from this company.

Chris came to my home the beginning of July, sprayed and charged me $425 and told me to call if I need them. After calling Chris directly, the office and then eventually the owner (who is chris' father) and said they were busy, asked for my name and said he would send someone. It has been 2 months and no show. I still have the bugs, not as many but they are still here and now as much as I cant afford to call another company I am forced to do so. Shame on this company

I called this company because i was referred when i called the company and explained that i was referred and that i was looking for the same service I told Steve multiple times that my cousin who referred me explained that they sprayed , added paste and left traps and i was given excuses that the paste and spray couldn’t be used at the same time ...so why did my cousin get that service ?( and it worked ) ...also i compared receipts and they used more spray at her home then at mine and my house is double the size and when I called at first I was asked how many kitchens and I said 2 ......Terrible service Dont use ...I still have the issue ....Only came up with excuses to offer more service

I called after hours on a Tuesday night around 6:30pm and got a message to call Steve on another number. So I called and left a message, Steve called me back within 20 minutes and told me he had to call the catcher and let me know. Well today is Saturday and I am still waiting for Steve to get back to me. Don't use this company they are NOT reliable. Thanks Steve for the phone call..TERRIBLE!
