McCarthy Landscaping Plus

We had McCarthy Landscaping Plus trim our front hedges and shape some other bushes on my property. He did an excellent job. The owner Duncan is a great guy, very responsive, on time, and thorough. We will definitely being using him in the future.

I am very pleased with McCarthy Landscaping Plus. Duncan is doing a great job on my lawn maintenance and garden which was very overgrown. His communication is excellent - he is polite, responds quickly, shows up on time, and has fair prices that work within my budget. He also follows up to make sure that I am satisfied with the work. Duncan, the owner of McCarthy Landscaping answered when I called and stopped by my house and gave me an estimate. Several other companies never got back to us. Duncan explained what would need to be done and how long it would take. He stayed in contact with me letting me know when he would be at my house. We ended up doing more than we originally planned, but are very pleased with the finished work done.

McCarthy Landscaping has serviced my lawn all summer and did a wonderful job. I recently requested a fall cleanup, and once again, I was extremely pleased with the results. They trimmed all the shrubbery, pulled the weeds, and cut back every plant I asked them to—just as requested. The team is always professional, courteous, and friendly. Can't say enough about the fantastic job by Duncan and his crew. Walkways back and front, a patio, drainage improvements, a lot of grading, and a gravel pad for a new shed. Duncan made what could have been an overwhelming process so much easier. We had a lot of jobs going on at once and he worked seamlessly with all the other contractors. Totally professional and the work is absolute perfection.

Duncan has been our go-to lawn guy for several years now and recently we asked him to help with getting us a new walkway and do repairs on our older flagstone patio. He really nailed it! The bluestone walkway is a work of art! Duncan has it covered from landscaping to hardscaping. He's fair, honest and reliable. He's also very hands on and checks on his job sites regularly so if you have any questions or issues, he's there in person to discuss. Highly recommended (but would prefer to keep a secret so we can use him more for upcoming projects ;-)

Contacted them a few days ago bc we are selling our house. He wasn’t sure if he could make it in a week or 2 from being so backed up with the storms that came thru. Well 2 days later they showed up and did an awesome job. Couldn’t be happier. Definitely recommend

We were in need of replacing our back deck and decided on a patio. We called Duncan and two other places. We called McCarthy Landscaping and Duncan was not only reliable but also very informative and realistic when discussing options. Weather had delayed some of the work due to needing a drainage system installation before the patio could be done. Duncan remained consistent and frequent in communication and planning. The job turned out to be a little more challenging than originally thought and once again, Duncan and his crew worked in a proficient and timely manner despite the unexpected. Our patio came out amazing and the crew were always professional and friendly. The yard was cleaned up immaculately and completely re-seeded. We couldn’t be happier with this project.

Early last year our regular lawn guy called us to inform us he wouldn’t be doing lawns anymore. I reached out to a few people who recommended McCarthy landscaping so I reached out. Duncan came the morning I left a voicemail to look at our lawn. A week later my lawn was cut and we are so very happy with them. Always professional, my lawn looks great. This year I reached out to Duncan about spraying my lawn for ticks as well as installing a fence. He came and sprayed my lawn and will be doing our fence soon. Such reasonable prices and Duncan and his team are all so friendly. So happy we found them.

Called for estimate. Duncan called back very quickly. EARLY for the in person estimate!! Him and his team right on time the day of the work for spring clean up and power wash. To quote my husband “phenomenal job”. They found things under old bushes that have been there for years and forgotten about. Absolutely recommend
