I met them at the Holiday Night Market in Syracuse and grabbed a card before leaving. Finding their stand was very easy and it was very organized and incredibly well-stocked!! There were so many varieties and sizes to choose from, and they even offer a recycling service to save you $! I'll definitely be buying my honey here from now on! I'm so happy to have found this! 🐝

Had an issue with what I thought were honey bees entering a spot under my eve. Bob was nice enough to drive to my house and check it out. He identified them as yellow jackets and not honey bees. Explained the difference and provided more information on what I could do. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Great guy! Thanks!

Very fast service and good advice! Our problem turned out to be wasps instead of bees but I learned how to tell the difference for the future.

Called Bob to talk about a possible nest, and he helped me to identify the insects as yellow jackets. He took the time to speak with me and educate me about behaviors to look for, so I could make the determination myself without incurring cost. They are indeed yellow jackets, and now I can move forward without worrying about harming bees. If I ever do have a honey bee issue, Syracuse Honey will be my first call. They also sell amazing local honey, which I will likely try at some point. Thanks again for taking the time on the phone with me.

Punctual and friendly service! Bob came through to investigate some carpenter bees that were nesting in the porch. He even explained to me their nesting and pollenation habits, which I found very interesting. Thank you!

I was so pleased that with a few photos of the nest that Bob was able to identify the nest as NOT honey bees. He had quite a bit of helpful info as to how to deal with the nest and flying invaders without resorting to pesticides which would harm the honey bees. So glad I called! Bob seems like a great resource and he was super friendly.

With a quick phone call and a few pictures Bob was able to identify the bees living in my home! His quick response and knowledge calmed my anxiety.

I called at a loss as a new time homeowner with visible hives along my roof with bees/hornets attacking us while on the porch. I knew nothing about what they might be. We buy their honey so I thought to call them first. The Gentleman on the phone was kind, funny, and informative. Advising me that what I had were not honey bees, that they save, rather a type of hornet/jacket, etc. He still told me exactly what to do and answered any questions I had. Thank you again!

I had a wasps nest fall out of my tree and called Syracuse Honey LLC for some advice and was greeted with nothing but kindness and honest advice! A very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend contacting him for this type of situation. He even offered to come remove the hive for less than what pest control charges.

I've been working with Bob for just about a year now. Started out with a couple of hives and have since expanded. He's provided great mentorship through this experience and has been very available to help as needs arise or assist with questions. From setup, mite treatment, product recommendations, harvesting honey and even wrangling a swam bees... I would highly recommend Bob and his Team. His guidance and education have given me a solid foundation throughout the initial steps of this journey.

Called to have an environmentally friendly way to deal with bees in my store. Guy came out and looked for about 5 minutes and proceeded to give us a bill for $175. Never stated a service charge or even how much. I see other reviews where they did actual work and didn’t charge. I just didn’t agree with being surprised with a high trip charge for 5 minutes of your time.

We had a large colony of bees swarm our yard and land on a nearby tree. Bob came right over and efficiently and safely removed the Queen and about 30,000 of her bees. Thank you Bob!

We met Bob the Bee Man when he responded to my request about the bees that were swarming around our front door. I was certain they were burrowing into the house to build a hive. Well when Bob arrived I had removed the plate with the house number on and discovered a bed of eggs on the back of the plate. Bob was beyond helpful in identifying the bees and so knowledgeable, I wondered if he gave lectures anywhere? He was generous with his time and as pleasant as could be!!!

Prices are higher than most local honey

I call Bob because I have some sort of bee/wasp in the attic. He tells me he'll be there on Sunday or Monday. He calls me at 8:30PM on Monday, and asks if he can come over on Tuesday. He does show up, in a car. Bees are in attic, so he has to use my ladder. He climbs up, tells me they are yellowjackets, and I need to call pest control. He straight faced asks me for $95. On my property for a whole 10 minutes. DO NOT call this guy unless YOU KNOW you have honey bees. Anything else needs pest control.
