Amazing customer service and experience! I came across this company on Google when I was looking for natural solutions to eliminate mosquitoes in our backyard over the summer. It was almost impossible to sit outside without getting bit until I met Alternative earthcare who then solved the issues so quickly and professionally! Thank you tons and cannot wait to have a mosquito free lawn!

We used Alternative Earthcare for mosquito and tick control on my daughter's property before her backyard wedding and my backyard. They did a fantastic job and we had no insect issues whatsoever. I will be using them again this season.

I had a sick Alaskan Cedar in my yard. Alternative Earthcare offered organic treatments for the cedar and the rest of the shrubs and trees in my yards. The cedar is alive and doing well after the treatment program. I recommend Alternative Earthcare and I will continue to use their service.

We are loyal customers since 2019. The best compliment I can give is every year, without fail, our landscaper asks who treats our lawn because it looks so healthy, vibrant and weed free. They are very easy to work with and extremely responsive if additional services are needed.

We began using Alternative Earthcare last year, following my father's recommendation after his years of great results. Since then, we’ve seen a noticeable improvement: the grass is greener, and weed growth has significantly decreased. After our aeration and overseeding this past fall, I’m looking forward to seeing the lawn’s progress this spring. We will definitely continue our treatment plan with Alternative Earthcare.

This guy Rob should learn how to talk to people, especially women. Rude. Pompous. Argued with me cause I didn’t want to pay his high prices. I’ll steer clear of a condescending business every time. Don’t trust the 4.9 stars I’m betting they are results of a discount offer or something like that… farmed.

DISAPPOINTED IN EVERY WAY WITH AEC! I SHOULD HAVE RUN AWAY AT FIRST CONTACT! My lawn has a WILD VIOLET weed problem, every year more and more are growing and seem to be spreading to different areas of the lawn. My gardener does not have the know how to control and stop this weed from growing. I went online to see what the experts have to say about WILD VIOLETS and how to get rid of them. They all seem to agree that this weed is very hard to get rid of! It seems only certain chemicals will work, and two applications must be put down in the fall and again in the springtime for it to be successful, they also stated that you made need to do this for as long as five years to completely rid the lawn of this stubborn weed. It was near the end of August 2024, fall was coming soon. I read the great reviews about AEC and read all the information on their website on how they come to your home, analyze and customize a program just for your lawn needs. Wow! This company sounds great, just what I need..... or so I thought, how WRONG I WAS! I called AEC and spoke to Howie, I told him my problems with my lawn and asked if he could send someone to take a look? Howie told me there is no need to send anyone, he can see my lawn using Google Satellite, and that all home owners get the same exact lawn applications. To start now and finish this season it would be $700.+ and a full 6 step program for the year is$1000.+ So what happened to what I read on their website? I said no thanks and hung up! Later I called another phone number to speak with the owner Greg Regan, he apologized for what Howie told me and said he would speak to him. I then get a call from another person at AEC, named Rob, he asked if he can come to see my lawn, I said okay. The next day when Rob came to my home he looked over my lawn. I told him my first priority was to rid my lawn of the WILD VIOLET WEEDS, next to have a full grass green lawn, I also told him what I read online . as to how to rid a lawn of WILD VIOLET WEEDS, Rob said not to worry, they have been in business for a long time, and will get rid of them and how he will do it, first he would put down a weed killer application in early September, next a week or so later they would aerate, over seed and fertilize and so on for the remainder of this year. "if I pay cash" I could save money, $272. for the rest of the lawn treatments for this year, $603 for the full season"if I pay cash" Rob also told me I needed Lantern Fly treatments, $275. "if I pay cash" Hmm? Seems this business likes to business in cash, I wonder why? Anyways, I said okay to both treatments and I paid them cash as they wished. Well the weed treatment NEVER happened, Rob calls me and says his boss makes up the schedules and I will get the aeration and over seed first, because of this we CANNOT put down weed treatments for at least 4 weeks, if they did it sooner it would kill the seeds. Then when the 4 weeks past, instead of weed killer, I get more fertilizer, spot seeding and lime. When I ask Rob what about the weed killer for the WILD VIOLET WEEDS, he said he never told me I would get a weed treatment in the fall, it's in the spring when it's put down and blames my gardener for the weed problem. So now Rob is saying I am hearing things or he is calling me a liar. If he told me he would put down weed killer only in the spring, I would NEVER have hired AEC to begin with! When they treated for Lantern Flies, the whole property was supposed to be sprayed, trees, bushes and grass, when they came they did not spray the grass at all. Theycame back the next week to do it all over, this time they sprayed the grass too. These kinds of problems I've had with AEC, I do not need. I am a senior citizen with many handicaps, I have enough problems. I told Rob, this is it, no more! He tells me to show good faith, they will come out and give me a FREE weed killer treatment. Free? From what Rob told me from the start,, and I believed I was paying for was, a weed killer treatment! I told Rob, no thanks, I cannot trust a word you say to me. We are done!

BEWARE: SCUMMY TACTICS We recently purchased a new home and saw postcards from Alternative Earthcare about their scheduled treatments and winterization of sprinklers for the following week. Giving them a call, we were told the previous owners used their company and were almost tricked into signing up for their services. Talking to their representative, they even promised to send us a list of all the services the previous owner had signed up for. From speaking directly with the previous home owners, we were told they never used Alternative Earthcare and had went with another company. TL;DR: They will lie about servicing your home to get you to sign up with them. Don't trust them! Update with answer: We received 2 postcards for scheduled work (winterization + lawn care maintenance) 2 weekends ago and called a few times last week to review, working with Steve. Steve had also promised to share with us a list of all services our property was signed up for before we got in contact with the actual folks that our original property owners worked with. We have not heard back since then.

They had been coming every month after I ordered only 1 service. I called to ask them to stop— the guy accused me of lying and trying to get free service (Which is insane) and wouldn’t let me even speak. So unprofessional. I’m reporting their unethical business practices.

I have used Alternative Earthcare for a few years now. This past season I noticed more weeds in my lawn. I received an email from Gary who originally signed me up for this service stating the person would be at my house today, 10/08/2020 to complete the last fall service. I was monitoring my ring doorbell camera and there was an Alternative Earthcare truck in front of my house. The person did not get out of the trucks for a good 15 minutes. He then got out of the truck, put the sign on my lawn and a receipt in my mailbox. He then placed lime in the spreader. He went to the side of my house and did a few rows not even the full lawn then proceeded to the bigger piece of front lawn literally did 2 rows then went up the driveway piece of grass, went back to his truck , put the spreader away then left. He did not do my fertilizer treatment and did not place lime on the entire lawn. I am beyond upset. I called to speak to Gary about it and his response is that there is not much he can do about it and he would send another truck back to my house.. They did send another guy back to my house who applied something from a pump sprayer but not the rest of the lime. I am searching for a new lawn service or I am doing it myself for next year. This is not a cheap service. I placed my trust in this company and this is what is done- nothing which is why I have bald spots and weeds in my lawn - sorry this should not be. Beyond disappointed.

My tree is getting attack by some kind of bugs. I called 3 Xs . The third time I was switched to “service Mgr “ to help me. I left message no response from him either. How unprofessional not to return a call is that. I am so disappointed because they had such high ratings. Thankfully I found a service that cared quickly and was upfront and honest not like this place.

My husband and I just bought a house over the summer and needed to have our sprinklers winterized. I was excited when I found an all natural company, so I gave them a call last Wednesday 11/6. I was told their receptionist would call me back either Thursday or Friday to set up a time and date for this week. Never received a phone call. Bad impression right from the start. Will call a different company.

Missed whole area of yard to be fertilized. Customer service was terrible. Hanging up on people. Best part of company is Gary. They were told when not to come cause of my landscaper. Yet they scheduled me when landscaper was coming. Was told it was in computer so dnt know why scheduling was screwed up. Will never use again or recommend.

If you call these guys, when on hold, they promise 24-48 hour service response. I have waited for over four weeks for service and never heard from them but once. They apparently want to sell mole or tick spraying for $1500 and not really want the more inexpensive service charges like fixing a sprinkler system. Their total disregard makes me feel they are hit or miss type companies. Beware--they sound professional but are not!!!!

WORST Company to hire. This company is so shady and a bunch of SCAMMING people that they should be out of business. They SCAM you buy mailing you a letter telling you that they used to do your home before when your house was owned by the previous owners but in actuality they NEVER EVER did anything at your house. They found out the house was sold from there real estate company they work with. So when you call up and tell them you are the new owners of the house they try to sell you all there services that most of the time you don't want. After you deny all the services they still call you and try to sell you on some of the other services they provide. Most of the guys are rude and annoying even when you tell the NO they still call. After all the annoying calls and letters they really don't let up. I got a call from one of the girls there (I forgot there name) saying that they will be out spraying my house tomorrow and I NEVER AUTHORIZED THEM TO COME OUT. But they insisted I did and said they will be out the next day and I told them I did not want them to come and she said she will take my house off. The next morning I wake up to an Alternative Earthcare Truck in front of my house and some guy spraying my trees and I yelled at him to tell him I didn't want there service and he said he had the contract for it. I told him well I did not want the service and I am not paying for it. He then went about his business spraying the rest of my property and letting my pitbulls out of there pen in my backyard. I found out afterwards from a friend of mine that they just had to fire them cause their guy that was spraying there yard wasn't spraying the yard with the right stuff and he was pissing in my friends yard which he had on his surveillance camera. This company is disgusting. I WILL NEVER EVER HIRE THIS COMPANY AT ALL! STAY AWAY!
