I requested service to remove a hornets nest on a weekend, and it was scheduled immediately, which was great. The hornets nest was too high up, therefore it required a taller ladder, which is understandable. The person stated that they had to go back to the shop to get a bigger ladder. Hours past and had no follow up as to if they were returning that day. I had to be the one to follow up. Then they stated that they would have to order a ladder because the taller one was lost, also understandable, but a deadline was set for them to call me back mid week to provide an update. It is now end of the week and I had to once again follow up to get an update on when they would be back out. The manager got upset because all I asked was for a follow up from their end because they never had good follow up throughout the entire process. As a customer, it’s not up to myself to reach out to the company for an update. It’s up to the company to reach out to the customer to provide an update on the process. Terrible communication.

Tech arrived 5-10 mins early (always a +). Service completed... Very satisfied with service and results. Thank you!

Have used this company several times in past. I called and scheduled appt for today. The service kept saying they were coming. Do not use this company. They are not reliable. Have gone down hill. Poor customer service

Shawn is a very good exterminator. I called him at 6:30 in the morning report gnats problem. he came my home at 9:30. Gave my tenants and me very professional explanation about the gnats inside house and how to treat them. He is very patient and nice eliminate our worry and doubts.

Shaw is very professional, caring and skillful. I had contacted him for 3 occasions, roaches , spiders and this time is for the flies . He responded very quick and tried to solve the problem as soon as possible. He is very friendly and with good skill. He always did follow up to make sure the problem solved. I glad I found him and his company. I can rely on him whenever I need help for extermination. I recommend him for all of you.

I had a yellow jacket problem I tried to DYI fix. (They were winning). Shawn completely got rid of them in only one visit. I usually don’t write reviews however I just had to due to his professionalism, expertise and the overall experience. Shawn is a gentleman and I will recommend him to anyone.

I had a big Hornets nest in the bushes in front of my house. Shawn was a gentleman to deal with. He through on a bee suit and went to work and in no time the front of my house was mine again! Will definitely use again.

Shawn is a prince. I had worries about a possible termite issue, and he gave a thorough assessment of the situation, put my mind at ease, and gave me a great education in the process. Professional, friendly, and generous with his time-all very much appreciated.

After a more than a month and several visits to resolve an issue there was no resolution. Not only was I met with a hostile response when I requested a resolution, but they refused to come back out in a timely manner for service and told me I had to wait two more weeks (on top of the one week I had already waited). Even though they are contracted by my building (which I am paying for through my maintenance), I have to hire an outside exterminator to get my issue resolved. I would not recommend this company, especially if you live in an apartment building. They will not treat you with respect.

Shawn provided very quick response to my hornets and bee issues. He followed up to make sure the bees and hornets were no longer buzzing around the infected area after treatment and removal of hive. Professional and friendly service. They are definitely my go to for extermination services. I have used them in the past for other exterminator services and had the same good experience.

I cannot say enough about Shawn, he visited only 15 minutes after we initially spoke and from then on was responsive, informative and an absolute pleasure to work with. Since we weren't sure what the pest was at first he put out humane traps and visited every other day or when I contacted him. Then, when we discovered what the actual wildlife was, he quickly changed course and took action. In the end, problem solved and of course, will not hesitate to call again for any pest issues we have in the future. Thank you, Shawn!

After 23 years in our house we suddenly had a minor cockroach problem just before Thanksgiving. I called around and had 2 separate companies come in for an inspection. Terminix wanted a 1 year service plan and wanted us to dismantle our entire kitchen. The 2nd company was unreliable and even claimed 24 hour customer service but never answered the phone after 5pm. I left a message with Sean from Universal and he called back the next day. We spoke for about 20 minutes or so as I explained the issue and he informed me about the solution. We had a minor roach problem of seeing only 1 or 2 every few days. He indicated it most likely entered the house as an egg in a delivery box or from BJ's when using their boxes to pack up the groceries. Side note, all Amazon x-mass packages were immediately thrown out and I now use my own plastic bins when shopping at BJ's. I scheduled an appointment for Saturday and Warren showed up on time and was extremely professional, helpful and informative. Over the next 24 hours we discovered about 12 roaches either dead or dying. Over the next few days there were a few isolated roaches and then none. Sean called me up about 10 days later to follow up and by that time I forgot we even had them because they were all gone. It's been 2 months and there have been zero cockroaches anywhere in the kitchen or rest of the house for that matter. The one time service was a well worth the minor expense compared to the corporate companies. I hope I never have to bring an exterminator into my home again, but if I do, I will be calling Sean and Universal Exterminating.

Universal Exterminating has taken over from another company that we used for four years. Universal did more in two visits than all the visits by their rivals.

Called for an estimate for termites and ants. Salesman comes to my house, gives us details of what the tech is going to do and then gives us a price. I call the office to schedule an appointment, tell the girl on the phone (Regina) what the salesman said was going to be done and the price he had quoted me. Regina says " no way that's the right quote, not for what we are going to do". Call the salesman ( Shawn Khan ) and ask him if he quoted me the wrong price, he tells me " no absolutely not, I'll take care of it". I call Regina at the office and schedule an appointment. Couple of days before the tech is supposed come, Regina calls and tells me due to the rain in the forecast, ( the chemicals they put in the ground around the perimeter of the house ) will not work unless there's 3 consecutive dry days. I'm thinking, great, they want to do the right job. Boy was I wrong. I scheduled 3 appointments and got the same lame excuse. Instead of being up front and telling me the salesman gave me the wrong quote, they gave me the run around for 6 weeks. What a pathetic, unprofessional way to do business. Stay away from these people! Unprofessional, unreliable and dishonest . Zero stars
