Quoted one price, charged more of course. When asked why they said the office ladies were quoting the wrong price…so their mess up is now my problem and cost me more? Won’t be a returning customer.
A guy from Nitro Green came out and measured my lawn and quoted me a written price. Later when I received my bill it was for quite a bit more. I called them and they lower the price a few dollars. I called them back when I received the new price and the woman said that she had measured my lawn on Google Earth. I explained to her that I had a written proposal and that was the price I was going to pay. I had to send her a copy of the written proposal in order for them to honor the price they quoted me. In reality they tried twice to charge me a higher price than what I was quoted.
Very responsive and answered all of my questions. Didn’t know they did pest control and they did a very good job that seems to have taken care of our issue.
On April 16th, I prepaid for services (spring spray and insecticide) that were never rendered. I called in May and spoke to someone who told me that if I was not signed up for several sprayings, they generally wait a few weeks to schedule it, but someone would contact me soon. I called again in July and left a voicemail message, requesting either services to be rendered or a refund. I was left a voicemail message (which is saved on my phone) stating that they would make sure I received a check for the $617.58 which I paid. It is August 16th, and I just called again to request the status of my refund or if services will ever be rendered. The receptionist on the phone said she would have to reach out to the accountant. I asked about what guarantee that I might receive, and she indicated she could not guarantee I would get my refund and that "checks sometimes get lost in the mail." I again stated that I have been without the $617.58 which I paid in April. She said she understood but did not have the authority to authorize my refund. I asked for a timeframe in which I should be receiving a call from someone regarding this issue, and again she said, "I do not know." I need resolution to this issue. This is unprofessional and unacceptable for this type of service. If it is not resolved by weeks end, I will consider it theft and refer it to the authorities. All I asked prior to this is either services to be rendered or a refund and neither has happened in the past 5 months.
I had a large tree branch break in the windstorm. They showed up fast, did a fantastic job, and were very nice and professional.
Jacob did a great job and was very kind. He took the time to talk to me and address any concerns I might have about my bug application(s). Thank you all for being able to get me in this year for bug control around my home.
After 2 years of service we have come to the conclusion that doing our rather larger property ourselves would yield far better results. With the high prices and minimal results I would not recommend....ever.
Townsend may be a stretch for their services. Nearly July and still no first application. Second year of delayed service. TruGreen has been to my neighborhood in May.

I called on Monday asking if someone could come as soon as possible. I talked to a very nice man . Nitrogreen came on Tuesday!

Didn’t have much of a yard but had grass, now I have nothing but weeds. We used them for two years. They came last year 2022 which was hottest year we had and couldn’t water because they put fertilizer down and burned up what lawn we had now have to start all over again and lived on this property for twenty three years. Our neighbor used them also and he could and had to lay sod to replace his lawn. We are in our later 60’s and can’t afford to do what our neighbors had done. They took advantage and please pay attention what they are doing!!!
Had them seed our backyard. They were supposed to level grade the yard, didn't do that. They were supposed to remove large rocks, didn't do that. They ran over concrete edging that we had made around our septic (reimbursed but not a great price and only after getting multiple collection letters for the cost even after being told we wouldn't be charged that). Our lawn still hasn't come in and we've called only to have a "we'll send someone out to look at it" more than 4 times. Don't waste your money. Paid for nothing to happen at all. Should have done it ourselves or paid for sod. If I could I could zero stars I would. FYI: We installed a sprinkler system prior to the seed and had it in a schedule.
I contacted them for a qoute. A week later an employee showed up to measure the lawn. He did not come to the door but I heard him outside. I contacted him and he said he would have someone contact me in a couple of days. Two weeks later with no follow up I phoned the office. I was told there was no information I had contacted them but I was assured someone would call me back. 1 1/2 weeks later still no contact. Hopefully by reading this it might help you avoid trying to use this company and waste your time. Not sure how a company like this can stay in business. I will stay with the lawn care service I have been using.

My girlfriend spoke with the receptionist who was great but the moment she had to hand us off to scheduling they never got back to us to set up a day or time to spray our lot. Not impressed! As a local I expect local companies to provide quality service and make appointments in a timely manner. Would never recommend nor personally use ever again. Very disappointed.

Hello Brandon, unfortunately spray applications are entirely dependent on weather patterns, wind speeds and the timing of weed growth which are very difficult to predict. Because it’s impossible to know how much work will get completed each day, customers get notified a day or two before we are ready to do the application. Spring time brings a heavy demand and the wind and weather we’ve recently experienced has made it very difficult to give a precise date of service. I apologize if this information was not relayed to your girlfriend.
Don’t know if they changed hand but I was a weekly customer for 4 years & then when I called this spring for service the guy acted like he didn’t know me & said they worked & had no room for. Terrible customer service.
We hired Nitro Green to spray our trees for pine beetles. They charged us double what was verbally quoted us over the phone and also charged us for more trees than we even had on our property! The young guys spraying the trees also sprayed my vehicle (the entire vehicle was dripping wet) with beetle spray and then denied it. I was really ticked. It was was such an unprofessional experience that cost us way too much.
