The technicians are always great. It is unfortunate that they have a flawed scheduling system. They will automatically schedule your appointment with no notice up until the week prior. Whether you confirm or not, they will show up. Most of the time, it’s scheduled while I’m at work or away traveling and the reminder email gets missed. Then I’m charged a $25 rescheduling fee and service fee for missing. So frustrating and for that reason I will not be continuing with them.

It’s been about a year since Absolute been treating my yard for insects. I’ve seen less and less bugs (ant, spiders and centipedes) which keeps my home clear and free and my dogs are happy as well (my dogs were getting bites from the ants and since I’ve been getting the yard treated I haven’t seen many ants)

Cole is the best! Told him that I heard a rat running on my ceiling. He saw that it caused more damage to my ceiling. He put more rat bait to alleviate the problem. Cole is courteous and thorough in his job. I would want him to do my bi monthly maintenance service.

Cole did a thorough run-through of my condo apartment. At curbside, Cole introduced himself with his friendly disposition. He answered my questions regarding the spray used and the process. Then he thoroughly sprayed throughout my unit, inside and the outside lanai area. Kudos, Cole!

Tech should communicate with client regarding time of arrival. Overall, tech is respectful and did job well.

Service was late by over an hour which he apologized for… but I’ve had this service done a few times for prevention, and this time maybe because he was late it was the least in depth job done. The worker just ran through my condo in less than 5 mins. He didn’t put any of the baits/traps like previous workers did before. He also left without saying anything or closing the door so I wasn’t aware he went lol

I found the pricing to be inconsistent and significantly higher than other local options. I was originally quoted around $100 for 10-12 wasp nests to be removed which I specified when I called. When I called back to confirm my appointment time, I was told the cost would actually be over $700 for the same service as they were charging nearly $100/nest. On top of the pricing issue, they also completely misspelled my name in the system even after I spelled it out clearly for them. Because of this experience, I ended up hiring another company Aloha Termite & Pest Control who removed the wasp nests quickly and professionally for less than half that second quoted price! Do not recommend Absolute Termite and Pest Control, unless you are asking for an absolute mess.

Based on what I saw and what was done, I think it was an OVERLY EXCESSIVE FEE to charge for what was done. After the treatment, I was instructed to do things that I should have expected to come with service charges. For $500+ he basically did the same thing I did with the Termout the over the counter treatment. I can only hope that this treatment did the job. We’ll see. Unknown about the outcome.

There seems to have been a serious degradation of quality over time. I received great initial service and followup warranty service for ground termite treatment years ago. I decided to try quarterly service to see if helps with the german cockroach problem in our kitchen. While I generally had no issues with the professionalism of the technicians performing the service, the office based customer service has been seriously lacking. I've reached out IN WRITING multiple times with no responses because my one verbal interaction with office staff (Kylie?) made absolutely no sense. They were very quick to point to their auto-renew contract. I am on a 1 year contract for 4x quarterly treatments. Their website claims "satisfaction guaranteed" and "unlimited treatments between scheduled service calls included". The details of which are not included in the contract. My 3rd treatment was scheduled and paid for, but the technician informed me that due to the inclement weather, they would have to reschedule. It was never rescheduled, and when I enquired shortly before my 4th scheduled treatment, I was told that it was beyond the 30 day warranty of that treatment. So I inquired about getting out of my contract. Instead of a discussion on options, it went straight to 'if you want to stop your subscription before your 1 year is complete, you will be subject to a $250 early cancellation fee' and 'you will have to cancel your subscription in writing to avoid auto-renewal of your contract'. I receive notice that a scheduled treatment is upcoming via text. I confirm and make arrangements to be present. After analyzing the history, they have set me up to have 6 or 7 scheduled treatments within my 1 year contract. The contract stated 4 quarterly treatments at $125 each. My 4th treatment was executed and automatically paid at the start of the 7th month of my 12 month contract. After multiple attempts over 1 week, I have yet to be receive any clarification that I have satisfied my fiduciary responsibility of the contract, if they will provide followup service to my 4th treatment because I am still seeing cockroaches inside and flying termites outside, if they plan to honor additional treatments at no cost for the remaining duration of the contract, or if my written request to NOT AUTOMATICALLY RESUBSCRIBE will be honored. I have received more automated messages to 'leave a review' than real engagement with their staff. I also think the mass email from the company on 6/10/26 with the subject "WE WONT BEST OF HAWAII! - A HUGE MAHALO TO YOU ALL!" shows the lack of quality control in their customer service and communications. Because of the lack of response, I feel that the scheduling and borderline extortion of additional treatments at cost (instead of 'included in the quarterly fee'), the scheduling of treatments at an accelerated interval, the leverage of an 'early cancellation fee', and an unconventional interpretation of vague contract language, warrants taking my time to share with the public as well as the BBB.
