Dear Alpine Farms Management, I wanted to take a moment to share an experience I had today that reflects incredibly well on your team. Earlier today, I had a flat tire on the side of Highway 441. One of your employees, Travis, happened to stop and check on me. Without hesitation, he went out of his way to help and changed the tire on my vehicle. His kindness, concern, and willingness to help a stranger truly meant a great deal to me. It’s not often you come across someone so selfless, and I believe Travis deserves recognition for his actions. He represented your company with genuine compassion and professionalism. I couldn’t be more appreciative, and I wanted to make sure his good deed didn’t go unnoticed. Sincerely, Karen Smith

They do not relocate bees. The name may be alpine bee farm, But these Bees do not go back to a farm. They are killed and disposed of. Find yourself An actual bee farmer, who removes and relocates. Bees need to be relocated, not killed. As bee populations dwindle, absolutely zero people should be supporting companies who kill them off, let alone a company who’s name implies the bees would be relocated to a farm.
Provider response
The name of our company is Alpine Farms and Alpine Farms Bee Removal. We are licensed and insured by the Florida Dept of Agriculture and follow their recommendation to eradicate feral nuisance colonies to help stem the over population of Africanized colonies in Florida.

They kill the bees , at least they are sincere and tell you that , but you can pay the same or less to a company that relocates to an apiary
Provider response
The Florida Dept of Agriculture recommends that feral colonies be eradicated to help slow the spread of the Africanized Honeybee. Due to the current hot weather cycle and intrusiveness of doing a removal, the colony would basically suffer and not survive relocation.
Mislead opinions cannot value our services with a negative review.

After I was stung 14 times by yellow jackets I called Alpine Farms. They came out within two days and got rid of the nest the same day. Shelby in the office and Mike in the field were very helpful…answering my questions and charging a very reasonable rate. Thank you so much!!!
Provider response
We very much appreciate your kind review and your business! Thank you!

This company does not relocate honey bees they kill them and they will say and I quote "because of the African bee population they want us to eradicate them". Sorry but who is they?! That is the biggest lie I ve heard. With all the environmental issues humanity is enduring you are willing to kill honey bees for a few hundred bucks? Is this actually legal? You should be ashamed of yourself. To Whom it May Concern: please Google "bee keeper". For the same amount they will relocate the bees and clean up the area to discourage them from returning. In my case there was a hive under the lid of my gast tank. Update: Thank you for your response and for the education you offered but your blanket statement is incorrect and inappropriate. Queen and bees were safely relocated to a farm with honey and all! It is upsetting to see you are available to indiscriminately kill everything in your path - not everything is a pest.
Provider response
There is no lie to be told, but please do let us help you educate yourself.
The Florida Dept of Agriculture put out a public advisory in 2005 recommending that feral bee colonies be eradicated to help control the spread of the Africanized Honey Bee (AHB). The AHB has created an overpopulation of bee colonies throughout southeast Florida with genetic traits not suitable for regular beekeeping and deemed a public hazard. It is not illegal, there is no
pollinating of food crops in Southeast Florida, and there is no environmental impact in this area.
Even with “live removals”, the mortality rate is as high as 98% in relocation and without the high probability of absconding to further lessen those odds.
Our apologies for giving an honest answer to a question that we are asked almost daily as far as providing live removal. No smoke and mirrors to the lay person.
They are your bees, on your property, to know that they have not been harmed and best chance to survive, best to leave them as they are in your propane tank lid.
Rats..cute in a pet store and and in a cage, but not so much when they have infested your house..still part of the environment, still have lives.
They do not "remove" honey bees. They don't properly educate the customer and use misleading language. They in fact kill the bees with poison. If there is reason behind this you should thoroughly communicate and inform the client as to why this is necessary. We called someone else and they came and smoked them out and are removing them safely.
Provider response
Please read the reply to the last person that complained concerning our services.
Yes we use insecticides as a licensed pest control company. The product labeling for our insecticides is the same as Windex, Raid, 409, and most other household cleaners which are not labeled as poison.
No semantics, no misleading language, no smoke show in a white suit.

I called Alpine after bees somehow invaded my garage, despite the fact that it was closed. Alpine was ready to resolve the matter the next day but thankfully the bees had already moved on. Ronnie, the owner still came out after a nearby job and filled in the little holes in my stucco near the electrical box that the bees had come through. He didn't even charge me and was done in less than 5 minutes. Top notch service. Hopefully I don't have this problem again, but if I do I know who I'm calling.

Alpine Farms responded immediately to an emergency at my 90+year old Mom's home. She had bees entering her home.-yikes! They were very through and professional; I hope that my Mom won't have another bee problem but if she does, I am most definitely calling Alpine Farms Bee Removal!

We called Alpine Farms Bee removal on Thursday afternoon and they were here to remove the beehive the next morning. All the employees we dealt with were very professional and helpful in getting the beehive removed. This was the second time our community (Saturnia Isles) has used Alpine Farms to remove a beehive.

Incredible experience with alpine. I called the office and spoke with a very nice lady. She put me on the schedule immediately. A young man came out and really educated me on the whole process. When I was quoted a price at first I was kinda stand-offish. However I decided to go with there services. I can tell you I would of paid double price. I received photos of the entire process. I was shocked how much work and effort went into the removal. Very professional Job well done. See photos posted below. Thank you for the bee removal. Apline rules!

Ron of Alpine Farms did a great job removing the bees, and the hive, from my attic. The roofing company that worked closely with him did an amazing job. Working together, they arrived on time, worked quickly and neatly, and repaired the roof without any signs of damage. The bees needed to be removed from under the roof because of the location of the hive. Ron was very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend calling Alpine for any bee removal project!
Provider response
Thank you Mrs Thorpe. You and Mr Thorpe very enjoyable to work with. Thank you for allowing Alpine Farms to provide the service. And big thank you for all the cold water, it was hot!

Worker was very friendly and patiently answered all of my questions, as I've never had a bee infestation before (new homeowner here). He did the estimate (the price was very reasonable) and came prepared to work in the same day! Unfortunately due to some patchwork done by a different company for something unrelated, we were unable to save the hive. But he effectively stopped the bees from invading my master bathroom, which had become unusable due to the bees making their way into the room (again, something caused by a prior company). I can now safely go pee in my master bath without having to do a recon mission! Would definitely recommend them to anybody who has a bee issue. Thanks guys!

We truly appreciate your business. Thank you very much!

I was recently recommended Alpine Farms Bee Removal by a client after having a swarm of HONEY bees fester near my doorway and I must say I am absolutely disgusted by the service provided by this company. I was assured by the employee I spoke to on the phone that Alpine will provide a NO KILL removal service to relocate the innocent honey bees. Before continuing my story, I would like to point out that the word "extermination" is never used on their website. Alpine keenly refers to all their services as "removals" but what I witnessed was a senseless slaughtering of thousands of honey bees when I could have easily found another company that would have gladly escorted these at risk of endangerment creatures to a safe farm. Low and behold a employee of Alpine shows up with a jug of poison. I asked the employee to stop and that I was going to grab the building manager before he wasted all these animals. Yet, he tells me its too late and continues to spray the hive. From that point, he leaves, leaving thousands of struggling insects dropping on my patio and doorstep. It took hours for them to all die, but all I could do is watch in horror as these poor insects writhed around begging for their last breath. This was not a removal, not a removal as promised on the phone at least, this was a holocaust of undeserving honey bees.
Provider response
Mr Keegan
Please be assured that the information you are embelishing so much is very far from the truth in facts of our service. In some cases we do offer live removal but many factors determine that possibility and is case by case. Furthermore, the mortality rate is about 97% in our climate and season to go along with intrusiveness of it. A factor of general public safety and of our staff also comes in to play.
There was no holocaust of dying animals (bees are not animals anyway). Our website and staff did not mislead you. Our staff provides a professional, legal, and clean work environment.
My office number is 772-286-3850. Please feel free to call me, but, please educate yourself prior to debating about something you may not be versed in. Truth in facts cannot be embelished. I will be more than glad to entertain this conversation in person without the guise and platform of social media. I will not accept slander on any platform.
I will be available to you sir.

Ronnie Sharpton- Owner
