My experience was very bad; they promise a lot, but the service is terrible. I don't recommend it.

Ecoshield has me as David Todd in its system (David is my middle name). I interacted with Jade this afternoon concerning a scheduling problem. She was most helpful and extra pleasant on the phone. Jade seemed to think that she is actually there to help. Often when dealing with reps in bureaucracies I feel they are not happy with the job they are doing and are going through the motions rather than trying to solve a problem. So, Ecoshield, raise Jade's salary! Hang on to her!

I should have looked at reviews before hiring this company. Should have also realized it was a red flag when they only accept cash and I quote “customers complain about any little thing and request a charge back”. To set up the appointment they were quick. Once they installed the tent I left the house and noticed through the cameras that the tent had flown open by the wind and I called Juan and his reply was “I don’t care what you see on the cameras the tent is up” which he then came out to put more sandbags to secure the tent. I was not home when they removed the tent as I was working so my father met with them to get the key back. When I got home I realized that there were some roof tiles on the ground and broken on my roof. We called them again and they were mad that we would accuse them of breaking anything and told us to read the contract that it specifies that they are not responsible for any damage done. My brother called him to let him know it was unprofessional to leave a place with broken tiles knowing it was Friday and raining everyday, the least they could’ve done was let us know so we can have it fixed before the weekend. Once again super defensive on the phone saying he would not repair the roof and we once again told him no one is asking to repair the whole roof but would have been nice to mention that tiles were broken. To make matters worse, he shows up at my doorsteps on Sunday afternoon drunk to let me know he will not be doing any repairs and that everyone wants companies to repair their roofs. I told him let’s go look at the roof so you can see for yourself and he said he wasn’t going to look at anything so I told him it’s obvious he’s been drinking because I could smell the alcohol and if he’d like we can talk on Monday. Really disappointed with the attitude and the lack of professionalism.

Stay away from this company! I initially had my house tented for termites in March 2023. A few months later, I noticed the termites were still a problem. I called for a re-inspection and Juan came over. He said there was not enough evidence to re-tent the house and that the termites probably flew inside the house when the door was open. He did not approve the re-tenting; however, offered to extend the initial warranty for 2 additional months. In March 2024, I received an invoice to renew the warranty. Juan told me he had never said he would give me an extension to the initial warranty but that will be willing to re-inspect when the roofers remove the roof. I contacted Juan in April, 2024 to let him know that he roofers will be at my house on 4/15/24. He said that he would "try" to be there for the re-inspection. He said he can not accept pictures or videos. I texted him yesterday 4/13 and today 4/14/24 and have not received a reply even after texting him pictures of termites inside my house! Unbelievable!

Terrible customer service. Had a service with them 10 years ago, asked them to provide me quote and they said someone would get back to me. A few days later I call again to confirm and they said they will notify the field rep again. Finally a week and a half later, I call back again to check and they have no record of my initial request. This rep said they would contact them and let me know a response, which they never did. They were good the first time I used them this was years ago. Maybe things have changed with them but recommend looking elsewhere.

The worst customer service !! Juan is the old guy that goes around giving estimates. He talks loud and interrupts your conversation all the time. This company pays for an insurance and he does not want to be responsible for their work, no matter what they do wrong!! Extremely rude and impolite!! The equipment is old and not updated. The tents are old and full of patches. Pls avoid headaches and time consuming in courts. There are other companies out there , STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. 🙏

Edit: Long standing customers should not be treated the way Juan did. Offer a resolution instead of getting nasty and denying to fix the problem. Really disappointed in the direction this unnecessarily took. Been working with Juan for last 8 years and he and his team have been great. Started with tent service as he was the least expensive of the quotes that I got and been using their fumigation services since.

Be extremely careful and use a pretigious company .They gave us an agreement to sign and was written that they were not responsible for the stolen objects in your house and the customer should contract a security guard BUT my door or windows werent forced and some belongins were missing..SO WHO WERE THE THIEVES?Aaaand not even a year after fumigation a lot of termites are flying in the restroom falling from somewhere in there and didnt come from outside cos' restroom is very isolate inside the house....

Juan came out to provide a free quote for termite extermination. He let me know that it was not termites. I was glad to hear that and appreciated his professional honesty.

It comes with no surprise this company only has 2.9 stars. Please, please, please save your money and go elsewhere. It is so much easier to spend a little bit more money and have a professional company to work with. For about six years, we have been paying the yearly termite insurance cost and somehow, this year we missed it. Their incompetence employees did not reach out to a loyal customer, therefore, supposedly making us lose this warranty. For the past two weeks, we have been arguing with them and they are FLAT OUT RUDE, old, and I have no idea how they are still in business. Hopefully, they will soon shut down since I will be taking this complaint else where. DO NOT USE THEM. Save yourself!

We recently had our home tented for termites. Lillian was exceptionally courteous and promptly answered all of my questions . The crew was on time to put up the tent they worked professionally and diligently. We have been using J&A Tenting for many years and will continue using them. It's peace of mind to use a company who are reputable and have been in business for decades.

Save yourself the horrible experience! Extreme lack of customer service. I am a property manager that manages multiple properties and it’s only problem after problem with these people. Extremely vague contract, employees get mad when you ask questions, the tech can’t remember the information you tell him.

a truly traumatic experience. an appointment taken 15 days before, a hotel booked to stay 2 nights away from home (6 people) and when the owner of the company in question arrives, he tells me that you cannot do the job because according to him there are not adequate precautions even though having performed an inspection a week before. incompetence and indecency at the extremes and really without the slightest professionalism. agrees unacceptable. be careful because their rates so low hide unpleasant surprises.

Extremely disappointed with the customer service I was just given. I asked for a quote via text which I did receive but shortly after Augustino called me rudely to reprimanded me for not texting back that his text message was received... I'm still in shock that this happened. Unfortunately due to this incident it cost this company a customer.

NO GOOD... THEY TENETED MY HOUSE LESS THEN 6 MONTHS TEMITES EVERYWHERE AND NO HELP... TOLD ME CANT SEE IT CANT HELP SORRY

If your looking to fumigate your home, J & A are the guys to hire. They not only had the most competitive price from other fumigation companies, but they were prompt in their responses and ON TIME! I had a great experience with J & A and my family has too. We've been going to them for over 20 years. Do your self a favor and give them a call.

They are very horrible I got service on on 06/27/17 for rats and insects they GUARANTEED that all critters will be dead and gone but on 09/28/17 I heard rats running around in my attic. So I called them because that was not acceptable especially seeing how it was only 3 months later. They told me that well its not their fault they did their job. Mind you I have a 7 month old daughter and after telling them that the guy started yelling and cursing at me stating that if it was termites then I would've gotten my money back. I told him that first if all that was not stated in the contract I signed also we told them specifically that we only needed a tent for the rats and also I didnt want my money back I just needed them to come back and spray my house again because this is unacceptable but after the verbal abuse I received from them I hope they run out ta business and this is not slander because its the truth. I am definely taking them to court to make sure that no one else get defrauded by them again. If I could I would've given them a -1 star

The company was very professional and always on time! The also did a great job 👏🏾
