Thomas was very knowledgeable about termites and the price was good too. Thankfully I notice one termite right away and did not wait to call someone professional. There was no damage yet to my structure and Thomas came to eradicate these unpleasant wood destroyers. His treatment is now 4 months ago and we had no new discoveries since then. We have him now come monthly for preventative treatment. We had also sometimes roaches, but since he treats also for roaches at his visits, no new sightings of these disgusting kitchen monsters. I would give 10 stars if I could.

I called Active Pest Control and a live person answered the phone. Sent tech soon to see the scope of the work. Tech gave me the price right away. We scheduled treatment next morning. I had too many ants in yard. they were coming through windows like a whole colony including the queen like trying to make new colonies inside my house. They sprayed whole of my yard and inside too. Their first treatment killed all ants and my yard and home is ant free. Price and attitude were great. I saved their info for all future needs. IO will recommend to everybody with no reservation. The office was helpful to get me service for bee extermination. The pest control applicator was prompt and courteous. Suggestion: come with tools necessary to uncover the bee hive example; crowbar, sawzall, etc.

Live possum in my garage. Dennis removed it safely, quickly and no harm at all to the animal. I will call them first in a heartbeat. All other services wanted $300 or more. There's no longer free animal control services that I found. Active pest control is the BEST!!!!!

Had a same day inspection done by Tom Nickerson today and it went great up until he decided to make a joke stating like rats, it’s hard to tell Asians apart. Tom, felt that due to his age he was able to make such remark. Not much elaboration needs to be done on why this comment was not only inappropriate and distasteful but unprofessional. We will not utilize nor recommend Active Pest Control services going forward. Happy Black History Month!!

I hate to, but feel I must respond to your response. The different location of nest is just not true! I’ve owned these buildings since 2003 & know my roofs. In October, I showed your first technician where the bees were coming from. The second barrel tile from the edge of the roof. A different technician came out the second time and I showed him also. This third technician sent a useless picture of bees swarming from the south side of my building. You can simply see the bees going underneath the second tile from the ground. I’m a business owner & absolutely hate giving a bad review, but felt compelled. In this economy $800 was/is a lot of money. I had another company come out yesterday for $200 and no bees today. Moreover, they said if the bees ever come back, they’ll come back at no charge. With all those 5 stars, I don’t doubt you guys are great at everything else, just not bees. Again, I really am sorry, but this is the truth and I know my buildings. I called Active because of all the 5 stars. My experience was a debacle from the beginning. I had/have a bee issue in my ceiling upstairs of my apartment units. I paid them $800 (very expensive) in October, which they came out twice. Very late both times & showed up in personal vehicles. The bees showed back up at the same location and they gave me an estimate of $450 to come out again because bees tend to “”naturally” come back and now it’s a “new nest”. I’ve killed over 6 nests in over 20 years that I’ve owned these units myself. After killing the queen, they never returned. These were external nests which I just drenched with regular Home Depot wasp spray. The only reason I called Active is because the nest is in the attic. I have a company now that will guarantee to kill the queen, seal the access hole with foam, and won’t charge me if another occurrence happens.

AVOID AT ALL COST! THEY WILL WRITE WHATEVER IS NECESSARY ON REPORT TO GET PAID! Used them when purchasing a house and was told there were signs of WDO, which they were able to "treat." Moved in and was greeted by a swarm flying termites all over the house. I immediately call out to exterminators (I originally thought they were flying ants) and was immediately told the house would need to be tented, and that they have been there for years considering they have wings. So, Active Pest Control either had an ineffective treatment method, did low quality work considering the problem exists, or had no idea what they were doing seeing as they couldn't make this recommendation (but could take the money for whatever they did). Highly disappointed with the work produced by this company considering I paid for treatment and there are still major issues that greatly affect the property. It should have been stated at some point if they didn't have the capability to properly handle the problem, instead of taking money and falsifying documents to push a deal through.
