Called to take care of roach problems for my rental property and signed up an annual plan. Very reasonable pricing and outstanding services.

We’ve only been customers for three months, and unfortunately we’ve already had multiple issues with the quality of service. We signed a one-year contract and pay monthly, so I expected much better consistency. To be fair, every employee I’ve interacted with has been polite, friendly, and respectful. My frustration isn’t with the staff personally—it’s with the service we’re paying for. During our very first appointment, the technician explained that rat traps would be placed in our backyard. After he left, I went outside to check and realized they were never installed. It immediately made me question whether the work being discussed was actually being completed. Another appointment, I was told the technician would arrive in about 15 minutes. He didn’t show up for roughly an hour, and no one contacted me to let me know he was running late. I understand delays happen, but communication goes a long way. The most frustrating experience happened yesterday. I specifically called and requested a full interior treatment because we’ve been finding spiders throughout our home. Before the technician arrived, we moved furniture away from the walls in every room so he would have clear access to spray all of the baseboards. After about five minutes, he said he was done and left. We have cameras inside our home, and the footage showed that he never even entered the bedrooms. Those rooms were part of the reason I requested the interior treatment in the first place. We spent time preparing our home, yet the service we specifically requested wasn’t completed. Now we’re being told we have to wait another 2–3 weeks for someone to come back and finish the job correctly. That’s another appointment we have to fit into our schedule because the original service wasn’t completed as requested. At this point, it feels like we’re paying for services that either aren’t being completed or aren’t being completed thoroughly. After three disappointing experiences in just three months, I don’t have much confidence that things will improve. Once our one-year agreement is over, we’ll be taking our business elsewhere. I can’t recommend this company based on our experience.

Matthew arrived this morning and did a thorough job in cleaning out spider webs and applying the proper repellant throughout our property with special emphasis in areas prone to housing mosquitoes, a huge problem at our property. Afterwards he informed me of what he had done and gave me some suggestions on what I can do to keep down the spread of mosquitoes and other problems at our residence. He did a thorough and complete job on our property and gladly acknowledge him as a knowledgeable and very competent technician/representative from ProActive. He spoke with a great deal of knowledge regarding his profession and always presented himself in a positive and professional manner.

July 16, 2026 Ryan texted me that he was on his way and the time he would arrive. Very courteous and professional. He came inside to inspect the crawl space and wore booties on his shoes. I really like when service techs does that. I can't say enough about the techs from ProActive, but I can say, they are top notch! Richard June 19, 2026 What can I say about ProActive techs that I haven't said before. They are professionals, courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. Jordan texted me saying he can be early is that's alright, since I was already up, said yes. He came checked the outside perimeter, looked into the crawl space and went up to the attic and no trace of any rodent(s) activities. There is an odor of decay coming from the crawl space, but no dead bodies. He saw that my dryer vent was not secured, and took care of that. What service, I say!! I have recommended ProActive to my neighbor and he signed up and is very happy with their service. I would recommend them to anyone else. He surveyed the situation and told me what is going on and let me know what I can do on my own to prevent future issues. I can't say enough about Dennis and his workmanship. Amazing super techs that care about resolving your rodents issue. ProActive, thus far, has kept its promise to help me eradicate a rodent problem that I have had for some time now. Marcus called and said he was on his way and will be at my place in 30 minutes.; He was, he was, once again, courteous and friendly. He went up to the attic and check things out and NO RATS!. Yay! I haven't heard any rats in two weeks! I love it. ProAcive did what they promised me! From my personal experience, these folks are top notch and I would recommend them to all my friends. I can't say enough of the people that ProActive hired. These techs are very knowledgeable and know what they are doing. Same Thao came with his partner, Paul, and they went up to the roof to seal an entrance they found a few weeks ago. Once they sealed that entrance, Same went around the side of the house roof and he found another entrance. He proceeded to seal that entrance too. I am very happy that I signed up with ProActive and I have even told my co-workers that these folks are professionals. Same said that he will come back personally in two weeks and recheck his works. I mean, who the hell does that! I have credit their manager Jessie. Jessie is amazing and his team reflects that. I have met all of Jessie's techs, like Adam, Cheng, Marcus, Paul and Same. Bought a house in Oakdale and October and I've had them spraying it since then anytime I've ever had any kind of issue they've been on it and they've worked with me very happy with their service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs good quality service

We have been using Proactive Pest Control since we moved in our home in 2021. There was an issue with cockroaches in our front yard and luckily they never made it inside the home. Everytime we call for a reservice they are quick to schedule and service our home and they do so with no additional fees. Armando recently serviced our home because we had a couple sightings of roaches in our yard and he took the extra time to inspect our home and found a water leak and sitting water in our water meter and informed us that those could be causes for increased roach activity. My wife and I really appreciated the extra effort to help solve our problem instead of just routinely spraying and moving on to the next.
