Hi Tony!

You are absolutely right. Because of confusion in the past, at this time we do not discuss details about our service, including price or removal methods with anyone but the property owner.

We try to be very transparent in our pricing, with flat rates up front. Unfortunately when we have told third parties, we have had contractors attempt to subcontract us out, or tenants fight with landlords.

To keep the process simple, we really insist on having the decision maker as our only point of contact.

If you are who I think you are, you attempted to subcontract us out to make yourself some money off our services. We have had terrible experiences with that situation in the past, as contractors are not always transparent or clear with expectations and their own markup. To ensure our customers are getting great prices and service, we must really insist that the owner speaks to us directly.

Estimate for bee removal ... 700 dollars , I don't think so ....next! I didn't ask you to climb a roof, nor to clean the honey! They aren't africanized! In my case they are in a area that's between the two 4×12 beams flat roof, and they would be removed from inside through drywall... no repairs no cleaning, so yeah 700 to take the bees! Next!
Provider response
Hi Eric! Sorry you didn't like our price. Unfortunately it's challenging to open up the structure of a home and clean out potentially African bees and all their honey for much less.

Our mission is to give people a more affordable alternative to pest control. For example, at the time of writing this, Terminix charges $700-1200 for a one time bee service that doesn't include cleaning out the honey. With honey clean out their price usually ranges $2-5k.

We are a small business and care about our reputation and our clients. Unfortunately climbing on roofs to remove potentially aggressive bees is a very dangerous and seasonal job, which makes the service expensive. We do our best to provide the fairest prices and best service possible.

Edit: Since you edited your review I had to make an edit. We typically don't remove bees from inside as it gets all the bees and mess inside the home. Outside is generally safer and easier, so we would absolutely have to be in the roof.

There is no way to know how aggressive bees will be until the structure is opened. We assume every hive is aggressive until proven otherwise to keep everyone safe. The honey must be removed along with the bees to prevent additional structural damage, reinfestation, and for the good of the bees.

Came quickly and on time, quickly rounded the bees up for a reasonable fee. Would recommend.

For live bee removal, no one beats the team at Bryan's Bees. Lyndsay scheduled Matt for Saturday morning. He was on time, friendly, informative, efficient, and the fee was less than the reasonable estimate. Two thousand bees were relocated (maybe 3 didn't make it) with minimal damage to drywall. We couldn't bee happier!
