Amazing service. Timely, professional, super thorough. Will use them again if we need them, although, given the great trapping and pest control job they did- I don't know if we'll need them in the future (which means a job well done!).

Monterey Bay Pest Control helped establish the initial situation at my home and have been extremely dedicated and attentive to my needs Adam, who is my technician is always available and extremely helpful in explaining the situation and providing the best possible solution at a reasonable cost. I would certainly recommend them and have done so on several occasions.

MBPC has been attentive to my property in Carmel Valley for years, helping me address very active rodents and spiders around the perimeter. In the last 6 months, the level of service increased dramatically with Adam C. on the account. He is the most professional technician I have ever had on property and I recommend MBPC and Adam C. without hesitation.

Absolutely amazing team and exceptional service!! I’m normally not one to write reviews, but the team here helped me out today and gave me such peace of mind that I need to recommend them! Today when going through a storage box under my bed I found a tiny bug crawling around inside and immediately panicked. I’m terrified of even the thought of bed bugs and had no clue what to do. I trapped it in a jar but I had no way to tell if it was actually a bed bug or not. I called Monterey Bay Pest Control and they told me I could bring it in and they would ID it! Within 20 minutes I was down at their office and their entomologist Laura had it under a microscope. Turns out it was just book lice! I learned that I don’t have an infestation of bed bugs, just too much moisture in my bedroom. The staff entomologist, Laura, is so knowledgeable and reassuring, I even got to look at the bug under the microscope! I would 100% recommend using their services. Thank you so much for your help today!!

We have contracted with Monterey Bay Pest Control for several years, and they have been wonderful. Our business is located in the woods. Managing bugs and rodents is critical. I have learned to depend on the advice and expertise of Monterey Bay Pest Control. We are lucky to have a great service technician, Hugo. He is professional, shows up on time as scheduled and always improves our bug and rodent situation. I called the office last night after closing and requested extra ant baits and glue traps. Sure enough, Hugo showed up first thing this morning with a big smile and the requested items in hand. Thank you, I appreciate the quick turn-around and good service.

Awful customer service and then no call/no shows. My property management sent out a work order in the early afternoon on 8/25 and said they'd be calling to schedule an appointment. I hadn't received a call by 8/27 afternoon so I called them directly. The receptionist told me Olivia would call me back to schedule, which she did shortly after. She told me the soonest they could come out was a week later on 9/3. I asked if there was any possibility they could come out sooner as we're having a really bad rat problem. Olivia said that they normally have been booking 2 weeks out so 9/3 from 9am-11am was essentially them doing me a solid by getting me in sooner but added that if they had any cancelations, she would let me know. I took today off and waited. By 11:08am this morning, no one had showed up so I called them to ask what happened. The receptionist said Olivia was on the phone but they would call me right back. I called them back at 12:10 and 12:36 but no one answered so I left them a message. I let my property management know what happened and they tried calling them with no luck either. A friend of mine got a hold of them at 1:42 and the receptionist claimed that our appointment wasn't scheduled until NEXT Wednesday. There was a whole conversation last week about how waiting 1 week was better than their usual 2 weeks so I know I'm not going crazy. I took the day off work for this and our rat problem is only getting worse. Based off of the other recent reviews, not showing up and following through seems to be their current M.O. Save yourself the headache and avoid them. They may have been one of the best in the past but between me and other disappointed people with infestations recently, you're better off calling a company that doesn't feel the need to lie because they dropped the ball. Update: I just called right now and person who answered looked me up and said I'M NOT EVEN ENTERED IN THEIR SYSTEM. Just a note saying that I needed to be entered and if I wanted, they could schedule me in for NEXT WEDNESDAY. So just more lies to cover up lack of competency.

Unbelievable terrible service . Contracted them on 6/08 to inspect condo. They told us what we needed and as they state Important Notes: The $150 Initial Inspection Fee can be credited towards the cost of our Post-Repair Trapping Program or the Initial setup fees for a Maintenance Program, provided the selected service is initiated within 60 days of the Initial Inspection date. Well that never happened after many phone calls and emails to please service our condo no show. Finally in July we did a drive by business and caught Olivia by surprise oh she said next week. Again no next week. More emails and phone calls and they scheduled the service on 08/14 a no show again. Well now we can’t use that initial $150 towards post repair and trapping cause they FAIL the customer in every way. We finally hired a professional service to handle. A local company we wanted but a local company the failed such a bad experience and not a way to run a business! BEWARE!!!

The worst pest control company in the area. The technician never showed up for the biweekly appointments. I had to remind him to come for the service. Many times I had to remove dead rats from the crawl space myself because they were rotting and smelling up the house. When I asked for a refund because of this, the company refused and even though they admitted the service was substandard.

Best pest service . . Living in the country you need an experienced person to handle it . . Our guy is Robbie . . The guy needs a cape . . "Robbie The Rat Man" Roof rats fear him . . Since he has been on the scene they quite eating scratching nesting in and outside our house . . The price is well worth it excellent service . . I told the receptionist that he drives up the driveway and the ground rumbles. . Rats Mice leaving in droves .. Robbie is on the scene . . Honestly . . knowing they are staying away is truly a peace of mind . . Getting sleep and saving money from the damage they cause is something Monterey Bay Pest Control Inc. Has helped us with . . Unfortunately, I have had a bad experience with Monterey Bay Pest Control. I contracted their services for an inspection of one of our sites for mice and everything went to plan. I requested pest control services for two of our buildings, of which the ball was completely dropped. Wanting to give the benefit of the doubt, I contacted them again. The woman was polite and explained why we never received our services contracts. She promised to complete them that day and send them to me for signature by the following Monday. That was a month ago. Oh well, on to the next…

Fantastic Company. Highly recommended for all pest control needs. They were able to get our rat problem under control, which had previously been a huge problem given our proximity to a state forest.

Monterey Bay Pest Control offers fantastic service. They helped me with a mice issue we were having at our home. They came out immediately and addressed the problem. They set traps, covered access points, and set up a follow up plan to make sure the mice did not return. I would highly recommend them for any of your pest issue needs.

So great…. I am so relieved. The rats were winning until Tony showed up. He offered loads of information which you won't get elsewhere, and was so thorough! UPDATE: Caught several rats last night, best night's sleep i have had in weeks. The rats are now losing :)

Quick response and great customer service! Our oak trees were being devoured by oak worms. Monterey Bay Pest Control came out two days after I called them to give us an estimate and sprayed that same day. So far it looks like the spraying was successful, the ground is covered in dead caterpillars.

$250.00 for a defective gopher hawk? I was told I have a gopher problem. Well, Its been 2 weeks later and the gopher/mole has been actively digging around the gopher hawk……during that tine no has called or asked…… After 2 weeks, I removed the gopher hawk , lightly tap it-Nothin happens, tap a little harder and it finally closes shut. Back to those solar powered-under ground noise makers….. Today I saw a small little head pop up; That aint no gopher!!!

I have to say these people really care about what they do. They sent someone out within a few days and more or less just gave us advice and a few traps to help with the problem we were having. I felt dumb not knowing the simple tips he told us, and through his knowledge we have completely eradicated our problem. These people are LEGIT!!!
