Arctic Bay Termite Company is a small pest control business located in Whittier CA. The response time is a bit slower than a large company like Terminix or Western, however, their quality of work is outstanding. Their customer satisfaction and craftsmanship matters, not necessarily the profit margin.

Background: Arctic Bay Termite Company (Joe Flores Construction) was referred to me by my brother who is a friend of Mr. Flores. Arctic Bay tented our house for termites exactly 1 year ago. The work was performed to our satisfaction, meaning the plants and roof were treated well. I have no complaints about the tenting process. The termites were gone for almost one year to the day. When they came back, they came back in exactly the spot where we had them during our original infestation. Situation: The termites came back in exactly the same spot. It was within 1 year of the original extermination. I called Joe 4x to find out what is our next step. I never received a callback. Week 1: I called Joe and left 2 detailed messages on his answering machine. Week 2: I left one message. I then contacted my brother, since they were friends. My brother contacted Joe, who told him he was having secretary problems but would get in touch with me. I left a final message at the end of the week Week 3, 4... No contact from Arctic Bay or Mr. Joe Flores. Conclusion: If you need a good company to tent your house with no expectations of any support whatsoever once the tent comes off then Arctic Bay is the company I recommend.

Arctic Bay used to be a good company to deal with, lately however they have become very unresponsive. Time to try someone else.
