Coastal Termite and Pest Control

Left on the vacation and set up a camera, just in case, first day gone - caught one of their employees steel from my patio on the camera, he though he was slick 😞 hope he will have fun dealing with police. The funny part - I have given him plants in past, all he had to do is ask for it. Does coastal service your patio? I'm sure this guy comes to your house too :)

During a recent kitchen remodel, we unfortunately discovered we had an extensive drywood termite problem. As part of the solution, we made the decision to fumigate our home in order to achieve some peace of mind during a somewhat stressful situation. After a bit of research (and a lot of concerns about how some termite/fumigation companies operate), I came across Coastal Termite and reached out to inquire about the process. Rachael was great to work with and was prompt and thorough when responding to my myriad of questions. While the fumigation process itself wasn't particularly enjoyable, it was definitely offset by the ease we experienced in working with everyone at Coastal Termite and the fumigation company themselves. Fast forward a couple of months and I contacted them to come back out to conduct a complimentary inspection of my crawl space for subterranean termites (they couldn't inspect for them earlier as we had standing water under the home that needed to dry out first). Happy to say that Rachael got me set up in no time at all and Matthew came out to take a look and we got a clean report. I will definitely use them again for our annual inspections going forward!

The team at Coastal Termite is amazing! This is a small business, and you can tell they really care about what they do. First off, Rachel (who handles coordinating all the services) is the best! She is very kind, helpful, and extremely responsive. She booked my termite inspection (and ultimately, the subterranean treatment) with Matthew, who was amazing as well! He was very knowledgable and thorough in his work. The whole process was quick and painless, and the pricing was very reasonable and competitive. I’m really pleased with the work that’s been done so far, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for termite/pest services!

I've used Coastal Termite in the past few years and have been very happy. Today, David and Sean showed up at my new home, explained what they were going to do, made some recommendations and efficiently got the work done.

David and his teammate did a fantastic job removing a hornets’ nest from our property. They were professional, efficient, and ensured that the nest was completely removed. Highly recommend their pest control services!

Matthew was our WDO (wood destroying organism - just learned that) inspector for our Eichler type build. He’s been here several times, each time with fantastic, prompt, and knowledgeable service. For example, he noticed our work station and proactively covered it up to prevent droppings. Separately, he was able to clearly and simply explain the relationship between ants and termites and how ants might go through old termite tunnels to push out old droppings etc, and how carpenter ant activity might be mistaken for termites. All in all, consider giving them a call. (They were assigned through our HOA)

David was fantastic to work with! He was communicative in my initial request, identified our issue quickly and offered a resolution. He was polite and articulate and can’t recommend Coastal enough!
