Toni, we are so glad our tech provided a service up to your standards!
Hunters Services has taken over pest control and pigeon abatement at our commercial building; they set up nets over our solar panels and cleaned the entire roof of debris; the pigeon problem was completely solved within the first week. Pest control is each month like clockwork. They are on time, on budget and always professional and courteous. I couldn't ask for better service.

Thank you for the kind words, we are so happy we were able to help!
Hunter's did an excellent job completing several big projects for us over the past year. We had significant termite damage and dry rot in our crawlspace. They were thorough and honest in the work. Kenia who coordinated the work was especially friendly and responsive. Cory who oversees the work took the time to talk with me on the phone several times to answer my questions and discuss options for repairs at a cost we could afford. Most recently they installed a dryer vent pipe and an additional vent for the crawlspace. Even when at times, I questioned the work they were responsive and friendly, never defensive or difficult. I give five stars for customer service. I also appreciated that they were willing to come all the way to Portola, an area where many service providers decline to travel to. Thank you to the team at Hunter's!

We are happy to help Daniel!
HUNTERS is my pest company, but above and beyond that I had wood ant infestations, wasp nest, some termite damage and dry rot on lower part of house and roof line from winter snow damage through the years of ownership. I can not praise HUNTERS enough for the SUPERIOR repairs they made on all items!! I am so pleased with the results and the price they charged was very fair. I don’t have to think twice when I say “HUNTERS SERVICES ARE YOUR BEST CHOICE!!”

We are always happy to help Fran! Thank you for the kind words.
I recently had Jeremiah from Hunters inspect a home I purchased, and he was outstanding. He accessed areas under the house that my home inspector wasn’t able to reach and identified several important issues that would have otherwise been missed. His inspection was extremely thorough and professional, and his detailed findings helped me better understand the condition of the property. I really appreciated his honesty, expertise, and clear communication. I’ll definitely be using Hunters to handle the remediation work—highly recommend them!
Watch out for these guys. Such a joke. Their idea of treating a unit with bait is placing toxic poison on the countertop where food is prepared. Right out in the open. If you want quality service Big time pest control trol is the way to go.

Kristen, we are sad to hear you weren't happy with our service. We would be happy to make this right for you!

Thank you!
I really had a great experience using Hunters. I had them come out and repair damage caused by Carpenter bees and woodpeckers, and they did excellent work. Not only that, but the whole process was very efficient. The receptionist was especially friendly and knowledgeable, the work was scheduled in a very timely manner (and given how far away they are located from me that couldn’t have been easy) and the workmen who came out were also very friendly and did an excellent job. I’m confident that when they come out next spring to keep the bees and woodpeckers away they won’t disappoint!

Nathan was prompt & professional and answered all of my questions.
Extremely happy with the service we get with Hunters!!! With us being seniors with one of us being disable, they are always here for us!!
The crew at Hunters Services is amazing. Thier level of communication and customer service is exceptional to say the least. Cory's attention to detail and friendly demeanor exceeds expectations. Thank you so much Hunters Services.
I gave 3 stars due to ,the new guy not doing a very good job. He replaced Johnathan.
Hunter Services has been taking care of our house for a few months now, and I can’t be more pleased. We had a ton of black widow's everywhere and now they are far and few between. Everyone I have encountered at Hunter Services has been polite, informed and thorough. Thanks Kody!
I recently experienced a pest issue at my home and am incredibly grateful to have had Hunter’s Services there to help. The technician was not only courteous but also extremely thorough in making sure the problem was addressed properly. I highly recommend Hunter’s Services, and if I ever face another issue, I know exactly who to call.
I had Xander come out and do our service in Paradise. He's friendly, gave us glue traps and took care of our spiders. Ask for Xander.
Gabriel and Xander provided the regular service today and did "plus" helping us with an issue inside and under the home. Kind, considerate, fast, friendly, and proactive. Thank you and glad to be with Hunter Services for regular maintenance.
We have had Hunters Services since we bought our home. They did our termite inspection before moving in and there was quick turnaround on the report, they since have been doing our pest control. They are super friendly with our dogs! We love our technician.
Great pest control service, they always call the day before, if I ever have questions they have a technician call me, love this company!
So knowledgeable and professional at what they do all the way down to their customer service!! Solved my pest issues with 2 treatments & I'm glad that I have them for another 10 months!!
We had critters hopping around in our attic crawl space and called Hunters. A year later, things were still hopping around. Asked Jake several times about the points of entry - nothing was ever done - there was always some excuse for not doing an inspection . Cancelled the contract a month before it expired and called another local pest control company. They took care of all the entry points immediately. We have not heard anything in the crawl space since.
Inspection completed a week ago and still no report. Had to contact Hunters to ask for the report. Payment is required before being sent. Payment was made and still no report. When calling no one answers. After leaving a voicemail the call comes in after hours. As a real estate professional these policies make it difficult to want to use them in the future!
When signing up with this company it was for the removal of a snake. Which they failed to do but charged me $200. They did leave sticky traps with later caught the snake and I found because of the dead smell. However, by this point I had already signed up for their service and could not cancel. I specifically requested a phone call before they would come to my home before treatments but when that wasn't provided, I was told that it was just a courtesy and they did not have to do it. Also, they do not leave invoices for proof of service but they sure charge that credit card.
The office staff when I called were unprofessionally rude and honestly I dont take too keen to the fact of other women flirting with someones significant other.

Good morning Kaylaa, I am sorry to hear of your experience when calling into the office. I find this behavior highly unprofessional and would like an opportunity to speak with the employee who may have treated you this way. If you could please reach out to me by phone or email, I would love an opportunity to resolve this issue right away. I can be reached at the office number: 530-342-8950 ext 106 or by email: joe@huntersservices.com
Thank you Kaylaa, I hope to hear from you soon.
I had them come and do repairs. They did something metal on our eaves. This was a month or so ago. I called to tell them the metal had fallen off. I left a specific message and expected a call back. Still haven't heard back. Still the thing fixed.
They have come to the apartment complex several times and I have not been impressed. They never leave the chemicals used or the state-required statement after treating, and, during their last visit, they left my stove out with gas running. Our apartment was full of gas by the time we got home.
Response from Hunters Services
We are surprised to hear you did not find our service up to your expectations, as the management of the apartment complex you reside at continues to express their appreciation for our work. Unfortunately we have no idea why your gas stove would have been leaking, as we never touch gas appliances unless we fog, and according to our records and the apartment Manager's records, we have never fogged your apartment. Our technicians are always accompanied by your maintenance manager when spraying, and have never had unauthorized access to anyone's apartment in the complex.

As a tenant of the apartment complex, we can understand that it might be frustrating to not have complete control over the applications used to eliminate pests. However, please know that we leave a list of the chemicals used on file with the Apartment Manager, which she has told us she has emailed you a copy. Also, as an environmental-conscious company we strive to use the safest applications possible and still get the job done - actually we were the first pest company in Chico to pioneer the use of eco-friendly products.
BEWARE. The guy said I had a gopher problem and he would exterminate with chemicals. I was hesitant about the toxins but he said the problem would get much worse if I didn't remedy it. I had just had leg surgery and could not get to my backyard to see what he was talking about so, of course, I trusted his professional judgement. He started the job on a small area but could not complete it and had to return because he claimed I had a broken sprinkler. Of course, he asked and was PAID IN FULL because he assured me he would return when the sprinkler was repaired. I had a yard/sprinkler guy inspect it and paid $60 to repair the system. Turns out, the yard was wet because the sprinklers are set for early morning, and it wasn't broken. As a courtesy, the sprinkler guy inspected my yard for gophers and said there was absolutely no gopher evidence or damage, and told me I had been ripped off. If that's not bad enough, Hunters never returned my calls and refused to complete the service or refund my money. I'm upset because toxins were unnecessarily released into my property and the environment and I paid in advance. What was I thinking? I filed a complaint with the State and will be filing in Small Claims Court.
Response from Hunters Services
We are sorry to hear you did not have a pleasant experience with us, and sincerely hope that you have healed well from your surgery.

We would like to assure you, that rather than using toxic chemicals, our technician used carbon dioxide to treat the gopher infestation in your lawn, which is readily soaked up and used by grass and plants to sustain life. We hope that alleviates your concern in that area.

We are unsure why the sprinkler person missed the damage from the gopher. Our technicians routinely cover and smooth over all rodent holes after treating, first to keep the carbon dioxide from dissipating, and secondly so they can identify new mounds the next time they visit. Perhaps this is why the sprinkler person was unable to identify gopher activity. Unfortunately, our technician was unable to treat a corner of the lawn due to it being overly wet. He wasn't sure if this this was caused by a sprinkler needing repair, but thought that was likely the case, due to how over-soaked the area was.

It is our policy that customers call the office rather than technicians to schedule appointments, and we apologize if you were not informed of this. During your situation we were training two new dispatchers in the office, and this may have led to less-optimal communications. As our technician performed his duties, we were not able to offer you a full refund, however both our General Manager and Office Manager offered to to credit you for 25% of the bill, to cover the small section of lawn he was unable to treat, which you declined. However, as courtesy we completely released you from your annual contract. We sincerely regret that your experience with us was not optimal, as we are striving to foster better communication with our customers.
Wow, is all I can say. The buyers of my home ordered a pest inspection from Hunter's Services and sent a guy out. I purchased this home less than 2 years ago using my VA benefits and was cleared with Section 1 &2 per the VA. Hunter's inspector told me that I had "lots of Mold and Mildew" issues, so I immediately called my real estate broker, who jumped in his car to come see what the problem was. My agent met the Hunter's inspector on the street in front of my house, and he was so rude to my agent, the inspector was asked to leave my property,, but he stayed in front of my house in his vehicle. so my agent called Hunter's Services and told them he was going to call the police if this inspector didn't leave asap. Come to find out Hunter's Services is not a good company and when I called the pest inspection company who did my inspection when I bought my home in 2017, he came out and almost nothing was found except 2 small areas of dry rot the size of quarters, not the "oh no, that Hunter's Services inspector said. The total cost for my repairs is only $350. Stay away from Hunter's and use someone else.

We would like to request that you please remove this review for the following reasons:

According to Google's policies, it represents a CONFLICT OF INTEREST. YOU DID NOT HIRE US and even admit so in your review. You openly state "The buyers of my home ordered a pest inspection". In fact, the actual buyers who hired us were VERY happy with our service, as our certified WDO Inspector discovered and documented serious fungus damage to the structure of your home.

It was only after our Inspector informed you of the fungus damage that you became very irate and abusive with him. We understand that such information could jeopardize the sale of your home. However, we view your actions as an attempt to coerce our inspector into falsifying the report that was paid for by the buyer who is our client. Not only would that be dishonest but it is against California State Law, specifically Article 4, Section §1970, Standards and Record Requirements of the California Structural Pest Control Board.

We are a family business who loves our community, and will never allow anyone to blackmail us into falsifying our inspection reports in an attempt to get them to remove illegitimate and purposely damaging reviews.
