I'm updating my 5 star review from two years ago since we needed Ratman for another rental. As before, his sealing up the house and removal of rodents was perfect, but in addition I have to add that his concern and respect for our terrified tenants couldn't have been better. They are so appreciative of his work and we are all best friends now.

Gilbert at RatMan did a fantastic job helping us with a rodent issue we were dealing with. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very reasonable with his pricing. Gilbert responded right away and came to the house and crawled underneath to do an inspection. The other company that came did not do this. So we went with Ratman and I’m glad we did. He treated one wall and we’ve had no issues since.

Great owner and his tech installed lots of wire mesh around the house and closed up all the rat entrances. Also, he went under the house to inspect heating pipes insulation and potential entrances.

After interviewing 4 other companies, we decided to go with Gil and the Ratman team to treat our home for termites (yes, he does termite and insect work too) because I felt Gil was an honest and trustworthy man who stands by his work. He proved me right! Gil came out and personally walked his crew through the entire job before leaving them to complete the work. The team was very thorough and gave us status updates throughout the morning. While they were in the crawlspace, the Ratman team double checked all of our rodent work from another company and reinforced areas they thought might need it at no extra cost. That's above and beyond service in my book!!!! Thank you Gilbert, we really enjoyed working with such a service oriented company!

I just wanted to go on here and say I'm so grateful for David and Gilbert. They come to our property all the time. Polite, knowledgeable and they will get rid of your rodents!! We had issues because an abandoned building next to us. We're right near a canal so it got pretty bad and ratman came to the rescue. Oh wow I can't say enough we were infested with rodents at a storage facility that I worked at & Gilbert Jaimez really came through for us. terminix couldn't do much and different pest control companies tried to help us with our rodent issues and only the rat man had the solution. He has some kind of solution that he used to block entrances and it really helped us. I appreciate it so much! I recommend RATMAN pest control.

I had a small mice problem in the house. Got 3 quotes….one was $5000 ($4000 after all my “discounts “ Ratman and one other were about half that much! I liked both companies and one of the main reasons i chose ratman even though he was a few hundred dollars is because they are certified by the structural pest control board. I mainly needed rodent proofing so they couldn’t get back in the house, but they are able to help with trapping and exterminating if necessary because they have the license. Gilbert came out and gave a quote and Andres came and did the work today. They did a fantastic job. Both of them are friendly, checked every nook and cranny to make sure there’s no way they would get back into the house and gave me tips to make sure I don’t have anything that interests them like not leaving my cats. Water bowl filled overnight for the next week or two. Highly recommended

I concur with the five star rating that rat man has on Google! It’s no coincidence that his ratings are so good. Gilbert, the owner, and the whole team, are so responsive and thorough. “So responsive” Is an understatement. “Very impressive” with their customer service is a better description. We hired them two or three months ago to stop the rats from coming in and they did it. They did what was necessary, and saved us some money by not doing all the other stuff. If we would’ve replaced all the insulation, as other companies suggested, we would’ve paid twice as much to get everything done We’ve called them a couple times to come out and check the traps. They’ve patched one more hole, and we’ve been rat free for four weeks now! Thank you ratman!!!

Gilbert was amazingly informative. He let me know step by step what he had to do and how he would execute. I appreciate the easy communication and even after keeping us updated and allowing us the time to call in for advice if necessary.

Gilbert and his team (esp Andres) went above and beyond for us. I whole heartedly recommend them to anyone dealing with any kind of pest issue. For us, it was a rat and we could not for the life of us figure out how it was getting into our house. We had the exterior of our house rodent proofed by a different company and they did a decent job (said Gilbert) but the rat was still getting in. The Rat Man team came back to our house several times in order to solve the mystery. Gilbert and Andres did a much more thorough internal examination of our home - Andres crawled further into our crawl space than I think anyone has ever gone before and he found a very old, uncapped sewer pipe. We had no idea it was there! Andres capped it and we haven't had any issues since. They didn't let that stop them & something I really appreciate is that, the Rat Man team responds very quickly and makes sure that someone comes by to address issues in a timely manner.

To Anyone ExperiencING ANY type of rodent/pest control issues at home: I recently had a kitchen/bath renovation done at my home in the east bay. It is a family owned business, and the entire team is awesome. I couldn't believe the time and care the technitions took to resolve my issues. Gilbert helped us get control of our rat problem in our home in the Bay Area through extensive trenching and has been immediately responsive for several follow up visits when the rats found new entry points to our crawl space under the house. Recently, he went above and beyond the call of duty by providing guidance for a rat problem discovered in a second home we have in New Mexico. He helped advise us about the best way to proceed and took some steps to help us find local services in our other location.

Does our house really rat proof now? I could not even believe it. The rats have been bothering us for so long and we consulted a few companies for solution. One offered rat slab for $10k. The other offered to seal one hole and change all insulation and put a plastic grounding in the crawl space for $4k to $5k. However I feel those solutions could not solve my problem at all. When I search on YouTube, I found Gilbert’s video. I could feel his confidence from the video and called him the next day. His crew came out quickly and sealed all the opening and potential openings that rodents could get in the crawl space/ house. We caught 5 rats/mice after our house was fully sealed that night. And since then I did not find any rodent movements anymore. I feel I got PTSD from fighting the rodent problem these years. Amazing customer service! They did their work and came back for weekly trap checks until there were no more. Then I found one in the garage! Even though it isn't part of the warranty (since garage doors can be left open and it's out of their control), Gilbert came by to check on the house. The traps were still clean in the crawl space, so we confirmed they came in some other way. He looked at our garage, saw a crack and blocked it, and also saw the garage door rubber was cracked so blocked it for now until I can get the garage door rubber repaired. I really appreciate him coming out!

The owner was super friendly and easy to communicate with. A second trip was needed to remove a dead carcass that my gardeners found. The crew handled it for me. I highly recommend their services.
