We had a really great time with William from Xpert Rodent solutions. He came promptly and did a great job of evaluating our concerns about bats around our house and provided expert recommendations on how we can control them if they appear and also did a great job evaluating our property for signs of other pests. I would highly recommend working with Xpert Rodent Solutions and their team.

I called William over a holiday weekend when I discovered raccoons living under my shed, followed by a flea infestation. I was just intending on leaving a message and was pleasantly surprised when he answered! Since it was a holiday, he obviously wasn’t able to come out that day, but he was incredibly kind, generous with his time, and extremely knowledgeable. He patiently walked me through several steps I could take to help mitigate the situation myself because he understood how anxious I was to get it under control before it became even worse. I’m happy to report that his advice worked beautifully. Thanks to his guidance, I was able to pretty much solve the problem! I've been working with William and his team on a rodent issue, and the customer service has been outstanding. The first time I heard scratching in our house, it was around 11pm on the Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend. I called Xpert Rodent Solutions expecting to leave a voicemail, but to my surprise, William (the owner) answered the phone himself (at 11pm). He immediately scheduled someone to come out first thing Monday morning, even though it was a holiday. William's responsiveness has continued throughout the entire process. He always answers the phone and genuinely cares about resolving his customer's issues. When new activity arose, I called William on a Sunday afternoon, and he dropped everything to personally come to our house, inspect the situation, and set additional traps. Jake has also been fantastic throughout the process. He's incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. He has taken the time to explain everything he's seeing and answer all of my (many!) questions. William, Jake, and the entire team continue to go above and beyond and truly stand behind their work. Highly recommend!

I called William last minute around 7:30 PM and he showed up within an hour to dispose a dead rat. He was super sweet, kind and did a great and fast job. 10/10 would recommend

They not only did very high quality work sealing up my house and cleaning / sanitizing a crawlspace area where there had been rat activity, but they also helped me get rid of some extra waste items. After several months of back and forth with subpar service from Terminix, I hired William and his team to help with a rat infestation in my home. He and his team were incredibly thorough, professional and thoughtful. Due to the expertise of William and his team, the rats were caught within a week, while we continued to struggle with Terminix for several months due to inadequate exclusion and trapping and a complete lack of customer service. I truly can't recommend Xpert Rodent Solutions enough -- they were incredible to work with and got the job DONE!

Highly recommend William and his team! They offer fair pricing, thorough work, and zero up-selling. ​After I noticed a broken crawl space vent, I called another company for an estimate. Without even entering the crawl space, they tried to sell me on a "full-house rodent proofing." ​In contrast, William’s crew did a complete inspection for a flat fee, found a second entrance I’d missed, and sealed both. They even installed a humane one-way exclusion door just in case. That night, I caught a video of two disappointed raccoons trying to get back in before finally giving up and walking away. A happy homeowner and disappointed, yet unharmed, raccoons is exactly the outcome I was looking for!

William (owner) is super knowledgeable, was responsive, and reviewed all options with me without pressuring one way or the other. A refreshing experience with someone who knows rodent and pest control very well.

i called so many places asking if they offer services to remove a rodent from my vehicle, they all said no and told me that no one would do it. i called xpert rodent solutions and mr. william immediately said yes, they do that. i was so thrilled! mr. william and byron came the next day, looked in the car, gave me information, and set a plan. we placed traps in the car - i called him two days later and told him that we caught it, he came to my place 30 minutes later to remove it and assured me that now everything is good. they offer cleaning and sanitizing as part of the removal service. from the very beginning, i felt like i knew mr. william, like he was an uncle caring for his niece who is scared of rodents lol. This company is great!!! Before I even hired them, William (the owner) gave me 10-15 minutes of his time to help me “recover” from the previous exterminators and kill off the last rat in the garage. Just a very caring and knowledgable person. After practically no follow up by previous exterminators, I hired Xpert Rodent Solutions. William did the first inspection, set up metal cases for the birth control food, set traps and inspected the grounds. Next came the cleanup from our rat infestation (prior company and myself killed 15 rats - under the house, in the garage and in the house… which I got to set traps and dispose of some of the rats myself 😫😵‍💫😤). Team of Jake and Byron did a full inspection under the house (fixed grates and loose vent for heating), cleaned up outside and then did a complete and thorough cleanup in the house and garage. 👍😊 WOW! Got best night’s sleep in 2 months after they finished. If you’ve got rat problems, this is the company to have come end your nightmare! Absolutely the best!!! Jean

Zero follow up after paying two annual service fees for two properties. Work was incomplete and the rodents returned within days. He did not seal the holes as I learned from subsequent rodent proofing providers but most importantly he is rude and defensive when I have asked for him to stand by the monthly inspections I paid for and he basically never returned for follow up.

William was quick to respond when we called about raccoons tearing up our yard and destroying the lawn. He helped up set a trap and was available right away when we accidentally caught a skunk. He came and quickly got the skunk out of the trap and reset it for us. I would recommend William for any and all pest control needs in and around Half Moon Bay.

I called about a roof rat issue. Will, Arturo, and Byron came in the next morning and installed 11 stainless steel vent covers, patched up a roof transition hole, and installed a new redwood crawlspace door. They also set up traps and came back to clear them. They use solid materials and do quality work. Arturo even fixed my gate latch free of charge (without being asked!). It feels good to support a local business, and I felt safe using them despite my 2 pets because they never use poison. Thank you Will and Xpert Rodent Solutions!

I called about a snake living in my front yard. The gentleman I spoke with was very prompt, polite, and helpful. Of all the services I called, Xpert Rodent Solutions is the only service that offered immediate assistance with my problem! Highly recommend this service and will definitely use again should another issue come up (but hopefully not!).

Rodents inside car. William came quickly, examined engine and inside cabin for evidence of infestation then set and placed traps inside and outside around car. Gave suggestions and was extremely nice and helpful. Hard to find an expert in car infestation, much appreciated.

We had a small critter come into a commercial spot and we called Xpert Rodent to see if they could come that day. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars, they recommended I go to the hardware store and buy some traps. They even answered my call from the hardware store to tell me the exact one (there are tons of options!). Thank you William. I called with a problem involving a mouse infestation of a vehicle. The gentleman I spoke to gave me great advice that actually worked. He was very pleasant and helpful. I’d certainly call them again if I had other pest issues. I’ve had issues inside my home before and the next time I do, I’m calling this company first. They are also located on the coast, as am I which is another plus for me. Definitely give this company a call, I’m sure you’ll have a good experience and your unpleasant pest experience will disappear as well.

Xpert Rodent Solutions is a GREAT Company!! The owner, William was so helpful. He came the same day and gave us an extremely fair price for all the work he did. The quality of his work was top notch. We had this service come out to install one of their eco safe rat killing devices on our fence in Menlo Park. The initial service was expensive with also a supposedly bi weekly check of the canister for the device and pick up of hoped for dead rats. The project was a complete fail. The rats set off the device but were not killed. The device on killed 1 rat in 4 months. This company never filled up on the said service, nor did they come back to remove the dysfunctional device from our fence . When I called them to schedule a visit to do something more effective they did not return a call. DO NOT USE….seems like a scam.

I called Xpert rodent and spoke with William. I was panicking because there was a rat that got into my house. He was so calming to me on the phone and immediately said he would be at my house in a couple of hours. In the mean time the rat ran out through an opened door. William checked my house and secured screens and put traps down. He was so kind and and an expert in his field. I would give him a rating of 100 if I could!

TL;DR: Xpert provided great service and I would recommend them. Recently, we discovered a raccoon hadn't gotten into our attic. We discovered this and 9p on a Friday. We called around, but of course everyone was closed. We left several messages. Xpert got back to us (not all places did) and was able to provide a clear plan and clear reason for how to deal with the raccoon. They've just finished their work and I've been very happy. The critter is gone and I'm confident they won't return.

Called on a Saturday and William came out on the same day to remove a dead rat from our property. Inspected for other potential issues. Super friendly and very responsive!

Wow, talk about service. William was able to squeeze me in the same day I called him. He did a very thorough walk through of the premise and explained to me what I should look out for. He's super knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend :)
