John Haderle at Haderle Pest Control has been fantastic to work with. He’s come out to our home twice, first for mice and ants, and then again for ants. After his initial treatment and follow-up, we haven’t had a single mouse since. The ants eventually came back, but that’s really a reflection of where we live, not the quality of his work. Our area is well known for persistent ant problems, and John was upfront about what to expect. What really sets John apart is his professionalism and approach. He’s kind, personable, and takes the time to explain exactly what he’s doing in a way that’s easy to understand. Rather than just spraying around the house, he focuses on locating and eliminating the colonies while also creating a double barrier to help keep pests from returning. Made an appointment for rodent control and they never showed up. No communication to cancel, nothing. Wasted a few hours of my time.

We've been customers of Jon for years. He is always responsive and thorough. He listens to my concerns (I hate bugs, rodents, etc.) and proposes appropriate remedies. He protects the wildlife (birds, frogs, etc.) by not using harsh chemicals in the extermination. As he says "They (wildlife) would have to roll around and swim in the chemicals to get sick." Wr recently discovered mouse droppings in our garage and shed, and connected with Jon. He did an inspection, determined where they were coming in and sealed up those areas and set traps. He was incredibly helpful throughout the trapping and cleaning process! We would use him again and recommend to others. He was also easy to communicate with and punctual!

Jon was fantastic. He was professional, kind, and thorough. I had rats, and he had to do multiple checks to get them all. He even went as far as to move an outside structure, and put it back together, where the rats were getting through. I would definitely recommend him.

Wow,peace in the house finally!,best mouse buster in town,he came inspected our whole house and found areas that are open to invasion by alien mouse creatures .He set up traps and in 2 days elimination of uninvited guests.I didn’t think I needed inspection but glad he did it. Found a crawl space vent that had a hole ,which he repaired real quick ,but also saw an erosion area and alerted us to get that taken care of which we would have never seen. So I guess we will keep using his company every rainy, cold season before the creatures return to. Check out our cars and our house. Should have called months ago instead of trying to do it alone. Jon from Haderle Pest Control did a great job with a rodent issue. He knows his business (and it is his business), shows up prepared and on time. Very efficient. He answered follow up questions which were helpful. He's my guy for any pest issues.

We had an infestation of bats in the eaves of our mobile home in Montevalle. Jon did a great job first inspecting and identifying the roost location and ingress/egress routes, then sealing them with either painted flashing or wire mesh. The work looks very clean and professional, not slip-shod. One photo shows the screws securing the wire mesh and the other shows one of two rain downspouts that were left for a week at egress points so the bats in the roost could exit (which they did) but not reenter.

Jon did an evaluation of our very old house to help us get rid of rodents. He found active and inactive entryways all the way from the ground to the roof. He fixed everything for a very reasonable price. Jon is friendly, thorough and clearly has experience. Highly recommend!

Haderle Pest Control did a great job on a huge project - clearing out decades of rodent habitat in an attic. The attic was cleared out, all entries for rodents were blocked off, and the attic was sanitized. I am very satisfied with Haderle Pest Control.

Hadderle Pest Control is a very reputable pest control company from Santa Cruz County. John Hadderle replied and came to do the estimate quickly for a vacant mobile home with rat infestation that we were helping get rat abated for a friend. John's quote was reasonable and amount of abatement was thorough, but honest about what was not needed. The work was finished by he and his reliable worker in a few days (except for ongoing trapping). He is continuing to trap rats under the mobile home and inside the home as part of the quote with 1 year warranty, and helped remove food items that we neglected to remove from the cupboards. We've also used John Hadderle at our home, and our church was referred to him by a local construction company as well.

Called Haderle Pest Control to help me figure out why my previous rat control measures weren't working. The technician inspected my property and within an hour showed me entry and exit points and had a very fair proposal to secure my property, trap, and monitor my rodent problem until it's gone. Great customer and professional service.

Paid in advance for multiple services and then never responded to texts / phone calls again. 1 star for one household visit. Committed to coming back and said would come back and then, ghost. Quick to respond to new business. Very unfortunate and sad to act in this way. Some guess a 1 hour service (or so) for $500. At least there was something done!

I’ve worked with Haderle Pest Control twice now — once in 2017 and again in 2025 — and they truly are experts in rodent exclusion. The work they did on my first home back in 2017 is still holding perfectly; the house has been rodent-free for eight years. Now in 2025 I hired them again for my newly built home after my tenant heard rodent activity in a wall. Even the initial consultation was extremely thorough and informative and well worth the money. They explained everything so clearly that a DIY-minded person could have done the work themselves and they were even encouraging me with lots of advice — but I chose to have them perform the exclusion. They sealed the home professionally and walked me through every step. Although I handled the trap-setting myself, they still gave me excellent advice and even provided better traps than the ones I had. I caught a couple of rodents right away and a few more after the sealing — and now the house is completely rodent-free. They also treated the homeperimeter for ants, provided a solid warranty, and their billing was transparent and fair. Consistent, honest, knowledgeable, and reliable.
