Cahaba Valley Termite & Pest

I scheduled a termite bond renewal for my house well in advance. On the day of the appointment, Cahaba Valley Termite & Pest canceled that morning. When I called to ask why, I was told “the technician called the owner and the owner said the property was too far out,” and that they no longer service Blount County. If the company has changed its service area, that should have been communicated before the appointment date, not at the last minute. This wasted my time and left me needing to find another provider. Cahaba Valley Termite and Pest should update customers ahead of time so they aren’t left in this situation. People in Blount County and surrounding areas beware of their coverage and commitment, would not recommend.

Very poor customer service. Had a technician show up at my house with no warning and told him that I already had my inspection in February of this year. He was super nice and called the office and verified this information. Ten minutes after he left the office staff called and said that my February inspection “counted for 2024” and that I was due for my 2025 inspection. She was extremely rude and short with me and would not listen when I told her that someone came in 2024 as well. I called back after finding every receipt/invoice from them since owning my house and they failed to call back. I called back two days later and had the same experience with the office staff being extremely rude and dismissive. Would not recommend to my worst enemy due to the office staff exclusively.

Great people and easy to work with for scheduling.

We have a bond with Cahaba Valley Termite that came with our home. We've received annual inspections for several years now. I appreciate they call to remind us every year, and scheduling is always super easy. The tech is as always time and friendly. This year however, the tech, Jason, went above and beyond. 15 minutes before his arrival, I realized I had a bird in my finished basement! He was a life saver and kindly ushered the bird out of my home before finishing the inspection. Greatly appreciated his willingness to help!

I needed a rush job for a closing and Cahaba Valley Termite knocked it out of the park! They are easy to work with
